1 Cronicas 4

1 Ang mga kaliwat ni Juda mao sila Perez, Hezron, Carmi, Hur, ug si Shobal.

The sonnes of Iudah were Pharez, Hezron, and Carmi, and Hur, and Shobal.

2 Si Shobal mao ang amahan ni Reaya. Si Reaya mao ang amahan ni Jahat. Si Jahat mao ang amahan ni Ahumai ug ni Lahad. Mao kini ang mga katigulangan sa banay sa mga Zorahanon.

And Reaiah the sonne of Shobal begat Iahath, and Iahath begate Ahumai, and Lahad: these are the families of the Zoreathites.

3 Mao kini ang mga katigulangan sa banay sa siyudad sa Etam: Si Jezreel, Ishma, ug si Idbas. Ang ngalan sa ilang igsoong babaye mao si Hazelelponi.

And these were of the father of Etam, Izreel, and Ishma and Idbash: and the name of their sister was Hazelelponi.

And Penuel was the father of Gedor, and Ezer the father of Hushah: these are the sonnes of Hur the eldest sonne of Ephratah, the father of Beth-lehem.

5 Si Ashur ang amahan ni Tekoa nga adunay duha ka asawa, si Hela ug si Naara.

But Asher the father of Tekoa had two wiues, Heleah, and Naarah.

6 Si Ahuzam, Hefer, Temeni, ug si Haahashtari ang iyang mga anak nga lalaki kang Naara. Mao kini ang mga anak nga lalaki ni Naara.

And Naarah bare him Ahuzam, and Hepher, and Temeni and Haashtari: these were the sonnes of Naarah.

7 Ang mga anak nga lalaki ni Hela mao sila Zeret, Izhar, Etnan,

And the sonnes of Heleah were Zereth, Iezohar and Ethnan.

8 ug si Koz, nga amahan ni Anub ug ni Zobeba, ug ang ubang mga banay naggikan kang Aharhel ang anak nga lalaki ni Harum.

Also Coz begate Anub, and Zobebah, and the families of Aharhel the sonne of Harum.

9 Labaw nga tinahod si Jabez kay sa iyang mga igsoong lalaki. Ginganlan siya sa iyang inahan ug Jabez. Miingon siya, “Tungod kay gipanganak ko siya sa kasakit.”

But Iabez was more honourable then his brethren: and his mother called his name Iabez, saying, Because I bare him in sorowe.

10 Nag-ampo si Jabez ngadto sa Dios sa Israel ug miingon, “Kung panalanginan lamang nimo ako, palaparon ang akong nasakopan, ug ang imong kamot magauban kanako. Sa dihang buhaton mo kini malikay mo ako gikan sa kadaot, aron mahimo akong gawasnon gikan sa kasakit!” Busa gitubag sa Dios ang iyang pag-ampo.

And Iabez called on the God of Israel, saying, If thou wilt blesse me in deede, and enlarge my coastes, and if thine hand be with me, and thou wilt cause me to be deliuered from euill, that I be not hurt. And God graunted the thing that he asked.

11 Si Kelub nga igsoong lalaki ni Shuha mao ang amahan ni Mehir, nga amahan ni Eshton.

And Chelub the brother of Shuah begate Mehir, which was the father of Eshton.

12 Si Eshton mao ang amahan nila Bet Rafa, Pasea, ug ni Tehina, ang nagsugod sa siyudad sa Nahas. Mao kini ang mga tawo nga nagpuyo sa Reca.

And Eshton begate Beth-rapha, and Paseah, and Tehinnah the father of the citie of Nahash: these are the men of Rechah.

13 Ang mga anak nga lalaki ni Kenaz mao sila Otniel ug si Seraya. Ang mga anak nga lalaki ni Otniel mao si Hatat ug si Meonotai.

And the sonnes of Kenaz were Othniel and Zeraiah, and the sonne of Othniel, Hathath.

14 Si Meonotai mao ang amahan ni Ofra, ug si Seraya ang amahan ni Joab, ang nagpundar sa Ge Harashim, ang iyang katawhan mga hanas nga panday.

And Meonothai begate Ophrah. And Seraiah begate Ioab the father of the valley of craftesmen: for they were craftesmen.

15 Ang mga anak nga lalaki ni Caleb ang anak nga lalaki ni Jefune mao si Iru, Ela ug si Naam. Ang anak nga lalaki ni Ela mao si Kenaz.

And the sonnes of Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh were Iru, Elah, and Naam. And the sonne of Elah was Kenaz.

16 Ang mga anak nga lalaki ni Jehalelel mao sila Zif, Zifa, Tiria, ug si Asarel.

And the sonnes of Iehaleel were Ziph, and Ziphah, Tiria, and Asareel.

17 Ang mga anak nga lalaki ni Ezra mao sila Jeter, Mered, Efer, ug si Jalon. Gipakatawo sa Ehiptohanon nga asawa ni Mered sila Miriam, Shamai, ug si Ishba, nga amahan ni Eshtemoa. Mao kini ang mga anak nga lalaki ni Bitya, ang anak nga babaye sa Paraon, nga giminyoan ni Mered.

And the sonnes of Ezrah were Iether and Mered, and Epher, and Ialon, and he begate Miriam, and Shammai, and Ishbah the father of Eshtemoa.

18 Ang asawa ni Mered nga Judio nanganak kang Jered, ang amahan ni Gedor; si Heber, ang amahan ni Soco; ug si Jekutiel, ang amahan ni Zanoa.

Also his wife Iehudiiah bare Iered the father of Gedor, and Heber the father of Socho, and Iekuthiel the father of Zanoah: and these are the sonnes of Bithiah ye daughter of Pharaoh which Mered tooke.

19 Sa duha ka anak nga lalaki sa asawa ni Hodia, nga igsoong babaye ni Naham, ang usa mao ang amahan ni Keila ang Garminhon. Ug ang usa mao ang amahan ni Eshtemoa nga Maacaton.

And the sonnes of the wife of Hodiah, the sister of Naham the father of Keilah were the Garmites, and Eshtemoa the Maachathite.

20 Ang mga anak nga lalaki ni Shimon mao sila Amnon, Rina, Ben Hanan, ug si Tilon. Ang mga anak nga lalaki ni Ishi mao sila Zohet ug si Ben Zohet.

And the sonnes of Shimon were Amnon and Rinnah, Ben-hanam and Tilon. And the sonnes of Ishi were Zoheth, and Benzoheth.

21 Ang mga kaliwat ni Shela nga anak nga lalaki ni Juda, mao si Er ang amahan ni Leca, si Laada ang amahan ni Maresha ug ang banay sa tighimo ug lino sa Bet Ashbea,

The sonnes of Shelah, the sonne of Iudah were Er the father of Lecah, and Laadah the father of Mareshah, and the families of the householdes of them that wrought fine linnen in the house of Ashbea.

22 Si Jokim, ang katawhan sa Cozeba, ug sa Joas ug sa Saraph, nga adunay kabtangan sa Moab, apan mipauli sa Bethlehem. (Kini nga kasayoran naggikan sa karaang mga talaan.)

These were potters, and dwelt among plants and hedges: there they dwelt with the king for his worke.

24 Ang mga kaliwat ni Simeon mao sila Nemuel, Jamin, Jarib, Zera, ug Shaul.

The sonnes of Simeon were Nemuel, and Iamin, Iarib, Zerah, and Shaul,

25 Si Shalum mao ang anak nga lalaki ni Shaul, si Mibsam mao ang anak nga lalaki ni Shalum, ug si Mishma mao ang anak nga lalaki ni Mibsam.

Whose sonne was Shallum, and his sonne, Mibsam, and his sonne Mishma.

26 Ang mga kaliwat ni Mishma mao si Hamuel ang iyang anak nga lalaki, si Zacur ang iyang apo, ug si Shimei ang iyang apo sa tuhod.

And the sonnes of Mishma, Hamuel was his sonne, Zacchur his sonne, and Shimei his sonne.

27 Si Shimei adunay 16 ka mga anak nga lalaki ug unom ka nga mga babaye. Ang iyang mga igsoong lalaki walay daghang mga anak, busa wala midaghan ang ilang banay sama usab sa katawhan sa Juda.

And Shimei had sixteene sonnes, and sixe daughters, but his brethren had not many children, neither was all their familie like to the children of Iudah in multitude.

28 Nagpuyo sila didto sa Beersheba, Molada, ug sa Hazar Shual.

And they dwelt at Beer-sheba, and at Moladah, and at Hazar Shual,

29 Nagpuyo usab sila sa Bilha, Ezem, Tolad,

And at Bilhah, and at Ezem, and at Tolad,

30 Betuel, Horma, Ziklag,

And at Bethuel, and at Hormah, and at Ziklag,

31 Bet Markabot, Hazar Susim, Bet Biri, ug sa Shaaraim. Mao kini ang ilang mga siyudad hangtod sa paghari ni David.

And at Beth-marcaboth, and at Hazar Susim, at Beth-birei, and at Shaaraim, these were their cities vnto the reigne of Dauid.

32 Ang lima nila ka mga baryo mao ang Etam, Ain, Rimon, Token, ug ang Ashan,

And their townes were Etam, and Ain, Rimmon, and Tochen, and Ashan, fiue cities.

33 lakip ang mga baryo sa palibot hangtod sa Baalat. Mao kini ang dapit nga ilang mga gipuy-an, ug gitipigan nila ang talaan sa ilang kagikan.

And all their townes that were rounde about these cities vnto Baal, These are their habitations and the declaration of their genealogie,

34 Ang mga pangulo sa mga banay mao sila Meshobab, Jamlek, si Josha nga anak nga lalaki ni Amazia,

And Meshobab, and Iamlech, and Ioshah the sonne of Amashiah,

35 si Joel, si Jehu nga anak nga lalaki ni Joshibia nga anak nga lalaki ni Seraya ug anak nga lalaki ni Aziel,

And Ioel and Iehu the sonne of Ioshibiah, the sonne of Seraiah, the sonne of Asiel,

36 si Elyoenai, Jaakoba, Jeshohaya, Asaya, Adiel, Jesimiel, Benaya,

And Elionai, and Iaakobah, and Ieshohaiah, and Asaiah, and Adiel, and Iesimiel, and Benaiah,

37 ug si Ziza nga anak nga lalaki ni Shifi ug anak nga lalaki ni Alon nga anak nga lalaki ni Jedaya nga anak nga lalaki ni Shimri nga anak nga lalaki ni Shemaya.

And Ziza the sonne of Shiphei, the sonne of Allon, the sonne of Iedaiah, the sonne of Shimri, the sonne of Shemaiah.

38 Kining gihisgotan nga mga ngalan mao ang mga pangulo sa ilang mga banay, ug midaghan pag-ayo ang ilang mga banay.

These were famous princes in their families, and increased greatly their fathers houses.

And they went to the entring in of Gedor, euen vnto the East side of the valley, to seeke pasture for their sheepe.

40 Nakakaplag sila ug abugana ug maayong sabsabanan. Halapad ang yuta, hilom, ug malinawon. Didto nagpuyo kaniadto ang mga Hamihanon.

And they found fat pasture and good, and a wide land, both quiet and fruitfull: for they of Ham had dwelt there before.

41 Nahisulat kini nga mga ngalan sa pag-abot sa adlaw ni Hezekia ang hari sa Juda, ug gisulong ang gipuy-an sa mga Hamihanon ug ang mga Meunhon, nga atua usab didto. Gilaglag nila sila sa hingpit ug nagpuyo didto tungod kay nakakaplag sila ug pasabsaban alang sa ilang mga karnero.

And these described by name, came in the dayes of Hezekiah king of Iudah, and smote their tents, and the inhabitants that were found there, and destroyed them vtterly vnto this day, and dwelt in their roume, because there was pasture there for their sheepe.

42 500 ka mga kalalakin-an ang gikan sa tribo ni Simeon ang miadto sa Bukid sa Seir, uban sa ilang mga pangulo nga si Pelatia, Nearia, Refaya, ug si Uziel, ang anak nga lalaki ni Ishi.

And besides these, fiue hundreth men of the sonnes of Simeon went to mount Seir, and Pelatiah, and Neariah, and Rophaiah, and Vzziel the sonnes of Ishi were their captaines,

43 Nalupig nila ang nahibiling mga Amaleknon nga midangop, ug mipuyo didto hangtod karong adlawa.

And they smote the rest of Amalek that had escaped, and they dwelt there vnto this day.
