1 Cronicas 20
1 Miabot kini sa panahon sa tingpamulak, ang kasagarang higayon nga makig-away ang mga hari, nga gipangulohan ni Joab ang kasundalohan sa pagpakiggubat ug gilaglag ang kayutaan sa mga Amonihanon. Miadto siya ug gipalibotan ang Raba. Nagpabilin si David sa Jerusalem. Gisulong ni Joab ang Raba ug gibuntog kini.
And when the yere was expired, in the time that Kings goe out a warfare, Ioab caryed out the strength of the armie, and destroyed the countrey of the children of Ammon, and came and besieged Rabbah (but Dauid taryed at Ierusalem) and Ioab smote Rabbah and destroyed it.
2 Gikuha ni David ang korona sa ilang hari gikan sa iyang ulo, ug nakaplagan niya nga motimbang kini ug talent nga bulawan, ug adunay matahom nga mga bato niini. Gibutang ang korona sa ulo ni David, ug labihan ka daghan ang nakuha niya nga mga kinawat sa siyudad.
Then Dauid tooke the crowne of their King from off his head, and founde it the weight of a talent of golde, with precious stones in it: and it was set on Dauids head, and he brought away the spoyle of the citie exceeding much.
3 Gipagawas niya ang katawhan nga anaa sa siyudad ug gipugos sila sa pagtrabaho uban sa mga gabas ug mga piko ug mga atsa. Gipabuhat kini nga buluhaton ni David sa tanang mga siyudad sa katawhan sa Amon. Unya mibalik si David ug ang tanang kasundalohan sa Jerusalem.
And he caryed away the people that were in it, and cut them with sawes, and with harowes of yron, and with axes: euen thus did Dauid with all the cities of the children of Ammon. Then Dauid and all the people came againe to Ierusalem.
4 Human niini adunay gubat nga nahitabo didto sa Gezer uban sa mga Filistihanon. Gipatay ni Sibecai nga taga-Husha si Sipai, usa sa mga kaliwat sa Refaimnon, ug nabuntog ang mga Filistihanon.
And after this also there arose warre at Gezer with the Philistims: then Sibbechai the Hushathite slewe Sippai, of the children of Haraphah, and they were subdued.
5 Miabot na usab ang gubat uban sa mga Filistihanon didto sa Gob, nga gipatay ni Elhanan ang anak nga lalaki ni Jair nga taga-Bethlehem nga si Lami ang igsoong lalaki ni Goliat nga taga-Gat, diin ang iyang bangkaw sama sa kahoy sa manghahabol.
And there was yet another battell with the Philistims: and Elhanan the sonne of Iair slewe Lahmi, the brother of Goliath the Gittite, whose spearestaffe was like a weauers beame.
6 Miabot ang higayon nga adunay laing gubat sa Gat nga adunay usa ka tawo nga taas kaayo nga adunay unom ka tudlo sa matag kamot ug tiil. Kaliwat usab siya gikan sa Refaimnon.
And yet againe there was a battel at Gath, where was a man of a great stature, and his fingers were by sixes, euen foure and twentie, and was also the sonne of Haraphah.
7 Sa dihang gibugalbugalan niya ang kasundalohan sa Israel, gipatay siya ni Jehonadab ang anak nga lalaki ni Shimea, ang igsoong lalaki ni David.
And when he reuiled Israel, Iehonathan the sonne of Shimea Dauids brother did slay him.
8 Mao kini ang mga kaliwat sa Refaimnon sa Gat, ug gipatay sila pinaagi sa mga kamot ni David ug pinaagi sa mga kamot sa iyang kasundalohan.
These were borne vnto Haraphah at Gath, and fell by the hand of Dauid: and by the hands of his seruants.
