1 Cronicas 13
1 Nagpakisayod si David sa mga komandante sa liboan ug sa gatosan, uban sa matag pangulo.
Forsothe Dauid took counsel with tribunes, and centuriouns, and alle princes;
2 Miingon si David ngadto sa tibuok katilingban sa Israel, “Kung maayo kini alang kaninyo, ug kung gikan kini kang Yahweh nga atong Dios, magpadala kita ug mga mensahero sa bisan asa ngadto sa atong mga kaigsoonan nga nagpabilin sa tibuok rehiyon sa Israel, ug ngadto sa mga pari ug mga Levita nga anaa sa ilang mga siyudad. Kinahanglan masultihan sila aron makighiusa kanato.
and seide to alle the cumpeny of the sones of Israel, If it plesith you, and if the word which Y speke goith out fro oure Lord God, sende we to `oure residue britheren to alle the cuntrees of Israel, and to preestis and dekenes that dwellen in the subarbis of citees, that thei be gaderid to vs,
3 Dad-on nato ang sudlanan sa kasabotan sa atong Dios balik ngadto sa atong dapit, kay wala nato gisusi ang iyang kabubot-on sa mga panahon sa paghari ni Saul.”
and that we brynge ayen to vs the arke of oure God; for we souyten not it in the daies of Saul.
4 Miuyon ang tibuok pundok nga buhaton kini nga mga butang, tungod kay daw husto kini sa panan-aw sa tanang katawhan.
And al the multitude answeride, that it schulde be don so; for the word pleside al the puple.
5 Busa gitigom ni David ang tanang katawhan sa Israel, gikan sa Suba sa Sihor sa Ehipto hangtod sa Lebo Hamat, aron dad-on ang sudlanan sa kasabotan sa Dios gikan sa Kiriat Jearim.
Therfor Dauid gaderide togidere al Israel, fro Sior of Egipt til thou entre in to Emath, that he schulde brynge the arke of God fro Cariathiarim.
6 Miadto si David ug ang tibuok Israel sa Baala, mao kini, ang Kiriat Jearim, nga nahisakop sa Juda, aron dad-on gikan didto ang sudlanan sa kasabotan sa Dios, kinsa gitawag sa ngalan ni Yahweh, si Yahweh, nga naglingkod sa trono ibabaw sa mga kerubin.
And Dauid stiede, and alle the men of Israel, to the hil of Cariathiarym, which is in Juda, that he schulde brynge fro thennus the arke of the Lord God sittynge on cherubyn, where his name was clepid.
7 Busa gibutang nila ang sudlanan sa kasabotan sa Dios sa bag-ong karomata. Gidala nila kini sa gawas sa balay ni Abinadab. Gigiyahan ni Uzza ug ni Ahio ang karomata.
And thei puttiden the arke of the Lord God on a newe wayn fro the hous of Amynadab; forsothe Oza and hise britheren driueden the wayn.
8 Nagsaulog si David ug ang tibuok Israel sa atubangan sa Dios sa tibuok nilang kusog. Nag-awit sila uban ang kinuwerdasan nga mga tulonggon, mga tamborin, mga piyangpiyang, ug mga trumpeta.
Forsothe Dauid and al Israel pleieden bifor the Lord, with al miyt, in songis, and in harpis, and sautries, and tympans, and cymbalis, and trumpis.
9 Pag-abot nila sa giokanan sa Kidon, gigunitan ni Uzza ang sudlanan sa kasabotan, tungod kay natumba ang torong baka.
Forsothe whanne thei hadden come to the cornfloor of Chidon, Oza strechide forth his hond to susteyne the arke; for the oxe wexynge wielde hadde bowid it a litil.
10 Unya misilaob ang kasuko ni Yahweh batok kang Uzza, ug gipatay ni Yahweh si Uzza tungod kay gigunitan man niya ang sudlanan sa kasabotan. Namatay siya didto sa atubangan sa Dios.
Therfor the Lord was wrooth ayens Oza, and smoot hym, for he hadde touchide the ark; and he was deed there bifor the Lord.
11 Nasuko si David tungod kay gipatay ni Yahweh si Uzza. Kadto nga dapit gitawag ug Perez Uzza hangtod niining adlawa.
And Dauid was sori, for the Lord hadde departid Oza; and he clepide that place The Departyng of Oza `til in to present dai.
12 Nahadlok si David sa Dios nianang adlawa. Miingon siya, “Unsaon ko man pagdala ang sudlanan sa kasabotan sa Dios ngadto sa akong panimalay?”
And Dauid dredde the Lord in that tyme, and seide, How may Y brynge in to me the arke of the Lord?
13 Busa wala gidala ni David ang sudlanan sa kasabotan ngadto sa siyudad ni David, apan gibutang kini sa balay ni Oben Edom nga kaliwat ni Gite.
And for this cause he brouyte not it to hym, that is, in to the citee of Dauid, but he turnede it in to the hows of Obededom of Geth.
14 Nagpabilin ang sudlanan sa kasabotan sa Dios sa balay ni Obed Edom sulod sa tulo ka bulan. Busa gipanalanginan ni Yahweh ang iyang panimalay ug ang tanan niyang gipanag-iya.
Therfor the arke of God dwellide in the hous of Obededom of Geth thre monethis; and the Lord blessid his hows, and `alle thingis that he hadde.
