Псалми 1

1 Блажен оня човек, Който не ходи по съвета на нечестивите, И в пътя на грешните на стои, И в събранието на присмивателите не седи;

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, or set foot on the path of sinners, or sit in the seat of mockers.

2 Но се наслаждава в закона на Господа, И в Неговия закон се поучава ден и нощ.

But his delight is in the Law of the LORD, and on His law he meditates day and night.

3 Ще бъде като дърво посадено при потоци води Което дава плода си на времето си, и чиито лист не повяхва; Във всичко що върши ще благоденствува.

He is like a tree planted by streams of water, yielding its fruit in season, whose leaf does not wither, and who prospers in all he does.

4 Не е така с нечестивите; Но те са като плявата, която вятърът отвява.

Not so the wicked! For they are like chaff driven off by the wind.

5 Затова, нечестивите няма да устоят в съда, Нито грешните в събора на праведните;

Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

6 Защото Господ наблюдава пътя на праведните; А пътят на нечестивите ще бъде погибел.

For the LORD guards the path of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
