Псалми 97
1 Господ царува, нека се радва земята; Нека се веселят множеството острови.
The LORD reigns; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.
2 Облак и мрак са около Него; Правда и съд са основа на престола Му.
Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.
3 Огън отива пред Него. И изгаря противниците Му отвред.
A fire goes before him, and burns up his enemies round about.
4 Светкавиците Му осветляват вселената; Земята вижда и трепери.
His lightning enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.
5 Планините се топят като восък от присъствието Господно; От присъствието на Господа на цялата земя.
The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
6 Небесата възвестяват правдата Му; И всичките племена виждат славата Му
The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.
7 Нека се посрамят всички, които служат на изваяните идоли, Които се хвалят с кумирите; Поклонете се, Нему всички богове.
Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all you gods.
8 Чу Сион и се развесели, И Юдовите дъщери се зарадваха, Поради Твоите съдби, Господи.
Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of your judgments, O LORD.
9 Защото Ти, Господи, си височайши над цялата земя, Превъзвишен си над всичките богове.
For you, LORD, are high above all the earth: you are exalted far above all gods.
10 Вие, които любите Господа мразите злото; Той пази душите на светиите Си, Избавя ги от ръката на нечестивите.
You that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserves the souls of his saints; he delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.
11 Виделина се сее за праведния, И веселие за ония, които са с прави сърца.
Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.
12 Веселете се в Господа вие праведни, И възхвалявайте спомена на Неговата светост.
Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
