Псалми 94
1 Господи Боже, Кому принадлежи отмъщението, Господи, кому принадлежи отмъщението, възсияй.
O GOD of avenging—Yahweh, GOD of avenging, shine forth:
2 Издигни се, Ти Съдия на земята, Отдай на горделивите това, което им се пада.
Lift up thyself, O judge of the earth, Render a recompense unto the proud.
3 Господи, до кога нечестивите, До кога нечестивите ще тържествуват?
How long shall the lawless, O Yahweh, How long shall the lawless exult?
4 Те бъбрят, говорят надменно; Всички, които вършат беззаконие, се хвалят.
They pour forth [words], they speak arrogantly, All the workers of iniquity, do boast:
5 Те съкрушават людете Ти, Господи, И притесняват наследството Ти;
Thy people, O Yahweh, they will crush, And, thine inheritance, tread down;
6 Убиват вдовицата и чужденеца, И умъртвяват сирачетата.
The widow and sojourner, they will slay, And, the fatherless, murder.
7 И казват: Господ няма да види, Нито ще обърне внимание Якововият Бог.
Yet have they said—Yah, doth not see, The God of Jacob, doth not understand.
8 Разсъдете, вие безумни между людете! Вие глупави, кога ще поумнеете?
Understand, ye brutish among the people, And, ye dullards, when will ye show discretion?
9 Оня, Който е поставил ухото не чува ли? Който е създал окото, не вижда ли?
He that planteth the ear, shall he not hear? Or, that fashioneth the eye, shall he not have power to see?
10 Оня, Който вразумява народите, Който учи човека знание, Не изобличава ли?
He that correcteth nations, shall he not reprove? He that teacheth man knowledge!
11 Господ знае, че човешките мисли са лъх.
Yahweh, knoweth the plans of men, That, they, are a breath!
12 Блажен оня човек, когото Ти, Господи вразумяваш, И когото учиш от закона Си,
How happy the man whom thou correctest, O Yah! And whom, out of thy law, thou instructest!
13 За да го успокояваш през дните на злочестието, Докато се изкопае ров за нечестивия.
That thou mayest give him rest from the days of misfortune, Until there be digged—for the lawless one—a pit.
14 Защото Господ не ще отхвърли людете Си, Нито ще остави наследството Си;
For Yahweh, will not abandon, his people, And, his inheritance, will he not forsake;
15 Понеже съдбата пак ще се съобразява с правдата, И всички, които са с прави сърца, ще я последват.
For, unto righteousness, shall the judicial sentence return, Then shall follow it—all the upright in heart.
16 Кой ще стане за мене против злодейците Кой ще стане с мене против ония които вършат беззаконие?
Who will rise up for me, against the evil-doers? Who will make a stand for me, against the workers of iniquity?
17 Ако не беше ми помогнал Господ, Душата ми без малко би се преселила в мълчанието.
If, Yahweh, had not been a help to me, Soon had sunk into silence—my soul!
18 Когато казах: Подхлъзва се ногата ми, Тогава, Господи, Твоята милост ме подпря.
If I say, My foot, hath slipped, Thy lovingkindness, O Yahweh, supporteth me.
19 Всред множеството грижи на сърцето ми Твоите утешения веселят душата ми.
In the multitude of my cares within me, Thy consolations, delight my soul.
20 Ще има ли съобщение с Тебе седалището на беззаконието, Което е хитро да върши зло чрез закон?
Shall the throne that inflicteth ruin, have fellowship with thee, That frameth oppression, by statute?
21 Те се опълчват против душата на праведния И осъждат невинна кръв.
They make an attack on the life of the righteous one, —And, innocent blood, they condemn.
22 Но Господ е високата моя кула, И Бог мой е канара, при която прибягвам.
But, Yahweh, hath become for me a high tower, And my God, my rock of refuge.
23 Той ще обърне върху тях собственото им беззаконие, И ще ги отсече в нечестието им; Господ нашият Бог ще ги отсече.
Thus hath he brought back on them their iniquity, And, by their own wickedness, will he destroy them, Destroy them, will Yahweh our God.
