Псалми 92
1 Псалом. Песен за съботния ден. Добро е да славословим Господа И да пеем хваление на Твоето име, Всевишни,
Yahweh, it is good for people to thank you and to sing to praise you [MTY] who are greater than any other god.
2 Да възвестяваме на ранина милосърдието Ти, И верността Ти всяка нощ,
It is good to proclaim every morning that you faithfully love us, and each night [to sing songs that] declare that you always do what you have promised to do,
3 С десетострунен инструмент и с псалтир, С тържествена мелодия на арфа;
accompanied by [musicians playing] harps that have ten strings, and by the sounds made by a lyre.
4 Защото си ме развеселил, Господи, с деянията Си; С тържествена мелодия на арфа;
Yahweh, you have caused me to be glad; I sing joyfully because of what you [SYN] have done.
5 Колко са велики Твоите дала, Господи! Твърде дълбоки са мислите Ти.
Yahweh, the things that you do are great! But it is difficult for us to understand [all] that you think.
6 Скотски човек не знае това, Нито го разбира безумен,
There are things [that you do] that foolish people cannot know about, things that stupid people cannot understand.
7 Че нечестивите изникват като тревата, И всички, които вършат беззаконие, цъфтят, Само за да се изтребят вечно.
They do not understand that although the number of wicked [people] increases [like blades of] grass do [SIM], and they prosper, they will be completely destroyed.
8 Но Ти, Господи, до века си на високо,
But Yahweh, you [will] exalted/be honored/rule) forever.
9 Защото, ето, враговете Ти ще погинат; Ще се разпръснат всички, които вършат беззаконие.
Yahweh, your enemies will [certainly] die, and those who do wicked things will be defeated/scattered.
10 Но моя рог Ти ще въздигнеш като рог на дивия вол; Аз ще бъда помазан с прясно миро;
But you have caused me to be as strong [MTY] as [SIM] a wild ox; you have caused me to be very joyful [MTY].
11 И окото ми ще види повалянето на ония, които ме причакват; Ушите ми ще чуят за възмездието на злодейците, които се дигат против мене.
I [SYN] have seen you defeat my enemies; d I have heard those evil men wail/scream while they were being slaughtered.
12 Праведният ще цъфти като палма, Ще расте като кедър в Ливан;
But righteous [people] will prosper like [SIM] palm trees that grow well, or like [SIM] cedar [trees] that grow in Lebanon.
13 Насадени в дома Господен Ще цъфтят в дворовете на нашия Бог.
[They are like the trees] that grow near the temple of Yahweh [in Jerusalem], those trees that are close to the courtyard of the temple of our God.
14 Ще бъдат плодоносни и в дълбока старост, Ще бъдат сочни и зелени;
[Even] when righteous people become old, they do many things [IDM] [that please God]. They remain strong and full of energy, [like trees that] [MET] remain full of sap.
15 За да възвестят, че е праведен Господ, Моята канара, у Когото няма неправда.
That shows that Yahweh is just; he is [like a huge] rock [under which I am safe/protected], and he never does anything that is wicked/wrong.
