Псалми 72
1 Псалом за Соломона Боже, дай твоето правосъдие на царя, И правдата си на царския син,
“By Solomon.” O God, give unto the king thy decisions, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.
2 За да съди Твоите люде с правда, И угнетените Ти с правосъдие.
He shall decide for thy people with righteousness, and for thy afflicted with justice.
3 Планините ще донесат мир на людете, И хълмовете мир с правда.
The mountains shall bear peace for the people, and the hills [the same], through righteousness.
4 Той ще съди справедливо угнетените между людете, Ще избави чадата на немотните, и ще смаже насилника
He shall judge the afflicted of the people, he shall give help to the children of the needy; but he shall crush the oppressor.
5 Ще Ти се боят догде трае слънцето, И догде съществува луната, из родове в родове.
They shall fear thee as long as the sun shineth, and in the presence of the moon, throughout all generations.
6 Той ще слезе като дъжд на окосена ливада, Като ситен дъжд, който оросява земята.
He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass, as showers which are dropping on the earth.
7 В неговите дни ще цъфти праведният, И мир ще изобилва докато трае луната.
In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace [shall be] till the moon shall be no more.
8 Той ще владее от море до море, И от Евфрат до краищата на земята.
And he shall have dominion from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.
9 Пред него ще коленичат жителите на пустинята: И неприятелите му ще лижат пръстта.
Before him shall bend down those that dwell in the wilderness; and his enemies shall lick the dust.
10 Царете на Тарсис и на островите ще донесат подаръци; Царете на Шева и на Сева ще поднесат дарове.
The kings of Tharshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
11 Да! ще му се поклонят всичките царе, Всичките народи ще му слугуват.
Yea, there shall bow down before him all kings: all nations shall serve him.
12 Защото той ще избави сиромаха, когато вика, И угнетения и безпомощния,
For he will deliver the needy when he crieth; the afflicted also, who hath no helper.
13 Ще се смили за сиромаха и немотния, И ще спаси душите на немотните.
He will spare the poor and needy; and the souls of the needy will he assist.
14 От угнетение и насилие ще изкупи душите им; И скъпоценна ще бъде кръвта им пред очите му.
From wrong and violence will he deliver their soul; and precious shall their blood be in his eyes.
15 И ще живее; и нему ще се даде от шевското злато; Винаги ще се възнася молитва за него, И цял ден ще го благославят.
And he shall live; and he will give him of the gold of Sheba: and he will pray in his behalf continually; all the time will he bless him.
16 Изобилие от жито ще има на земята, до върховете на планините; Плодът му ще се люлее като ливанската планина; И жителите по градовете ще цъфтят като земната трева.
There shall be an abundance of corn in the land; upon the top of the mountains its fruit shall shake like [the trees of] Lebanon; and [men] shall blossom out of the city like herbs of the earth.
17 Името му ще пребъдва до века; Името му ще се продължава докато трае слънцето; И ще се благославят в него човеците; Всичките народи ще го облажават.
His name will endure for ever; in the presence of the sun his name shall flourish: and men shall bless themselves with him: all nations shall call him happy.
18 Благословен да е Господ Бог Израилев, Който Един прави чудеса;
Blessed be the Lord the God, the God of Israel, who alone doth wondrous things.
19 И благословено да бъде славното Негово име до века: И нека се изпълни със славата Му цялата земя. Амин и амин.
And blessed he his glorious name for ever; and with his glory may the whole earth be filled: Amen, and Amen.
20 Свършиха се молитвите на Иесевия син Давида.
