Псалми 101

1 Давидов псалом. Милост и правосъдие ще възпея; На Тебе, Господи, ще пея хваления.

David’s. A Melody. Of lovingkindness and of justice, will I sing! Unto thee, O Yahweh, will I touch the strings!

2 Ще вниквам в пътя на непорочността. Кога ще дойдеш при мене? Ще ходя с незлобиво сърце всред дома си.

I will behave myself wisely in a blameless way, When wilt thou come in unto me? I will walk to and fro in the blamelessness of my heart, —in the midst of my house:

3 Няма да положа пред очите си нещо подло; Мразя работата на изневерниците; Тя няма да се прилепи до мене.

I will not set before mine eyes, a vile thing, —The doing of them who fall away, I hate, It shall not cleave unto me;

4 Развратено сърце ще бъде отхвърлено от мене; Нищо нечестиво не ще познавам.

A perverse heart, shall depart from me, A maker of mischief, will I not acknowledge;

5 Който клевети скришно съседа си, него ще погубя; Който има горделиво око и надигнато сърце, него ще да търпя.

He that uttereth slander in secret against his friend, him, will I root out; One of lofty eyes, and of an ambitious heart, him shall I not be able to endure.

6 Очите ми ще бъдат над верните на земята, за да живеят с мене; Който ходи непорочен в пътя, той ще ми бъде служител.

Mine eyes, shall be upon the faithful of the land, That they may dwell with me, —he that walketh in a blameless way, he, shall attend me.

7 Който постъпва коварно, няма да живее вътре в дома ми; Който говори лъжа, няма да се утвърди пред очите ми.

There shall not dwell in the midst of my house, One who worketh deceit, —he that speaketh falsehoods, shall not be established before mine eyes;

8 Всяка заран ще погубвам всичките нечестиви на земята, За да изтребя от града Господен всички, които вършат беззаконие.

Morning by morning, will I uproot, All the lawless ones of the land, That I may cut off, out of the city of Yahweh—All the workers of iniquity.
