Числа 36

1 Тогава началниците на бащините домове от семействата на потомците на Галаада, син на Махира, Манасиевият син, от семействата на Иосифовите потомци, се приближиха и говориха пред Моисея и пред първенците, началниците на бащините домове на израилтяните казвайки:

Then came near the heads of fathers, belonging to the family of the sons of Gilead son of Machir son of Manasseh, out of the families of the sons of Joseph, —and spake before Moses, and before the princes, heads of fathers belonging to the sons of Israel;

2 Господ заповяда на господаря ни да даде земята за наследство на израилтяните с жребие; и господаря ни получи заповед от Господа да даде наследство на брата ни Салпаада на дъщерите му,

and they said—Unto my lord, did Yahweh give command, to bestow the land as an inheritance, by lot, unto the sons of Israel, —my lord, therefore, was commanded by Yahweh, to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother unto his daughters.

3 Но ако те се омъжат за някои от синовете на другите племена на израилтяните, тогава наследството им ще се отнеме от наследството на нашите бащи, и ще се приложи към наследството на към наследството на онова племе, което ще ги вземе за жени; така то ще се отнеме от наследството, което ни дава жребието.

When, therefore, unto any one from among the sons of the other tribes of the sons of Israel, they become wives their inheritance shall disappear out of the inheritance of our fathers, and be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they shall be received, —and so out of the lot of our inheritance, shall it disappear,

4 Даже, когато дойде юбилеят на израилтяните, тогава наследството им ще се приложи към наследството на онова племе, което ще ги е взело; и така, наследството им ще се отнеме от наследството на отеческото ни племе.

And when the jubilee shall come to the sons of Israel, then shall their inheritance be added unto the inheritance of the tribe to which they shall be received—and, out of the, inheritance of the tribe of our fathers, shall their inheritance disappear.

5 Прочее, по Господното слово, Моисей заповяда на израилтяните, като каза: Племето на Иосифовите потомци говори право.

Then Moses commanded the sons of Israel, at the bidding of Yahweh saying, —A right thing, are, the tribe of the sons of Joseph, speaking,

6 Ето какво заповяда Господ за Салпаадовите дъщери; Той казва: Нека се омъжват, за когото им се види добре, стига само да се омъжат за мъже от отеческото си племе.

This, is the thing which Yahweh hath commanded, as to the daughters of Zelophehad saying: Unto whomsoever it may be good in their eyes, let them become wives, —save only unto the family of the tribe of their father, let them become wives.

7 По тоя начин, никое наследство на израилтяните няма да премине от племе на племе; защото израилтяните трябва да се привързват, всеки за наследството на отеческото си племе.

So shall no inheritance belonging to the sons of Israel go round from tribe to tribe, —for the sons of Israel shall, each one, cleave, unto the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers,

8 Всяка дъщеря, която има наследство в някое племе на израилтяните, трябва да се омъжи за едного от семейството на отеческото си племе, тъй щото израилтяните да притежават всички отеческото си наследство.

And, every daughter possessing all inheritance from among the tribes of the sons of Israel, unto one of the family of the tribe of her father, shall become wife, —to the intent that the sons of Israel may possess each one the inheritance of his fathers;

9 Да не преминава наследството от едно племе на друго племе, но племената на израилтяните да се привързват, всяко за своето наследство.

and no inheritance go round from one tribe to another tribe, —for the tribes of the sons of Israel shall cleave, each one unto his own inheritance.

10 И Салпаадовите дъщери сториха според както Господ заповяда на Моисея;

As Yahweh commanded Moses, so, did the daughters of Zelophehad.

11 защото Маала, Терса, Егла, Мелха и Нуа, Салпаадовите дъщери, се омъжиха за синовете на чичовете си;

Thus then did Mahlah, Tirzah, and Hoglah, and Milchah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, become wives, unto the sons of their father’s brethren.

12 омъжиха се за мъже от семействата на потомците на Манасия Иосифовия син; и така наследството им остана в племето на бащиното им семейство.

Unto men from among the families of the son of Manasseh son of Joseph, became they wives, —and so their inheritance remained with the tribe of the family of their father.

13 Тия са заповедите и съдбите, които Господ заповяда на израилтяните чрез Моисея на моавските полета при Иордан срещу Ерихон.

These are the commandments and the regulations which Yahweh gave in charge, by the hand of Moses, unto the sons of Israel, —in the waste plains of Moab, by Jordan near Jericho.
