Числа 32

1 А рувимците и гадците имаха твърде много добитък; и когато видяха Язирската земя и Галаадската земя, че, ето, мястото беше място за добитък,

And much livestock has [belonged] to the sons of Reuben and to the sons of Gad—very many; and they see the land of Jazer and the land of Gilead, and behold, the place [is] a place [for] livestock;

2 то гадците и рувимците дойдоха та говориха на Моисея, на свещеника Елеазара, и на първенците на обществото, казвайки:

and the sons of Gad and the sons of Reuben come in and speak to Moses, and to Eleazar the priest, and to the princes of the congregation, saying,

3 Атарот, Девон, Язир, Нимра, Есевон, Елеала, Севама, Нево и Веон,

“Ataroth, and Dibon, and Jazer, and Nimrah, and Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Shebam, and Nebo, and Beon,

4 земята, която Господ порази пред Израилевото общество, е земя за добитък; а слугите ти имат добитък.

the land which YHWH has struck before the congregation of Israel, is a land for livestock, and your servants have livestock.”

5 За това, рекоха, ако сме придобили твоето благоволение, нека се даде тая земя на слугите ти имат добитък.

And they say, “If we have found grace in your eyes, let this land be given to your servants for a possession; cause us not to pass over the Jordan.”

6 А Моисей рече на гадците и на рувимците: Да идат ли братята ви на бой, а вие тук да седите?

And Moses says to the sons of Gad and to the sons of Reuben, “Do your brothers go to the battle, and you—do you sit here?

7 Защо обезсърчавате сърцата на израилтяните, та да не преминат в земята която Господ им е дал?

And why discourage the heart of the sons of Israel from passing over to the land which YHWH has given to them?

8 Така сториха бащите ви, когато ги изпратиха от Кадис-варни, за да видят земята;

Thus your fathers did in my sending them from Kadesh-Barnea to see the land;

9 отидоха до долината Есхол, и, като видяха земята, обезсърчиха сърцата на израилтяните, та да не възлязат в земята, която Господ им бе дал.

and they go up to the Valley of Eshcol, and see the land, and discourage the heart of the sons of Israel so as not to go into the land which YHWH has given to them;

10 И в оня ден гневът на Господа пламна, и той се закле казвайки:

and the anger of YHWH burns in that day, and He swears, saying,

11 Ни един от ония мъже, които излязоха из Египет, от двадесет години и нагоре, няма да види земята, за която съм се клел на Авраама, Исаака и Якова, защото не Ме последваха напълно,

They do not see—the men who are coming up out of Egypt from a son of twenty years and upward—the ground which I have sworn to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, for they have not been fully after Me,

12 освен Халева син на Ефония Кенезов и Исус Навиевият син, защото те напълно последваха Господа.

except Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenezite and Joshua son of Nun, for they have been fully after YHWH;

13 Гневът на Господа пламна против Израиля, и той ги направи да се скитат из пустинята за четиридесет години, догде се довърши изцяло онова поколение, което беше сторило зло пред Господа.

and the anger of YHWH burns against Israel, and He causes them to wander in the wilderness [for] forty years, until the consumption of all the generation which is doing evil in the eyes of YHWH.

14 И, ето, вместо бащите си, издигнахте се вие, прибавка на грешни човеци, и ще разпалите повече пламъка на Господния гняв против Израиля.

And behold, you have risen in the stead of your fathers, an increase of sinful men, to add yet to the fury of the anger of YHWH toward Israel;

15 Защото, ако вие се отвърнете от Него, Той ще остави тях още еднъж в пустинята; и така вие ще станете причина да погинат всички тия люде.

when you turn back from after Him, then He has added yet to leave him in the wilderness, and you have done corruptly to all this people.”

16 Но те пристъпиха при Моисея и рекоха: Ще съградим тука огради за добитъка си и градове за челядите си;

And they come near to him and say, “We build folds for the flock here for our livestock, and cities for our infants;

17 а сами ние сме готови да вървим въоръжени пред израилтяните, догде ги заведем до мястото им; и челядите ни ще седят в укрепените градове в безопасност от местните жители.

but we are armed, hastening before the sons of Israel until we have brought them to their place; and our infants have dwelt in the cities of defense because of the inhabitants of the land;

18 Няма да се върнем в домовете си догде израилтяните не наследят, всеки наследството си.

we do not return to our houses until the sons of Israel have each inherited his inheritance,

19 Защото ние няма да наследим с тях отвъд Иордан и по-нататък, понеже нашето наследство ни се падна отсам Иордан на изток.

for we do not inherit with them across the Jordan and beyond, for our inheritance has come to us beyond the Jordan at the [sun]-rising.”

20 Тогава Моисей им рече: Ако направите това, ако отидете въоръжени на бой пред Господа,

And Moses says to them, “If you do this thing, if you are armed before YHWH for battle,

21 ако всички въоръжени преминете Иордан пред Господа, догде изгони Той враговете Си от пред Себе Си,

and every armed one of you has passed over the Jordan before YHWH, until His dispossessing His enemies from before Him,

22 и земята се завладее пред Господа, а подир това се върнете, тогава ще бъдете невинни пред Господа и пред Израиля, и ще имате тая земя за притежание пред Господа.

and the land has been subdued before YHWH, then afterward you return, and have been acquitted by YHWH and by Israel, and this land has been to you for a possession before YHWH.

23 Но ако не направите така, ето, ще съгрешите пред Господа; и да знаете, че грехът ви ще ви намери.

And if you do not do so, behold, you have sinned against YHWH, and know that your sin finds you;

24 Съградете градове за челядите си и гради за овците си, и сторете това, което излезе из устата ви.

build for yourselves cities for your infants and folds for your flock, and that which is going out from your mouth you do.”

25 И гадците и рувимците говориха на Моисея, казвайки: Слугите ти ще сторят, както господарят ни каза.

And the sons of Gad and the sons of Reuben speak to Moses, saying, “Your servants do as my lord is commanding;

26 Децата ни, жените ни, стадата ни и всичкият ни добитък ще останат тук в галаадските градове;

our infants, our wives, our livestock, and all our beasts, are there in cities of Gilead,

27 а слугите ти, всички въоръжени и опълчени, ще отидат пред Господа на бой, както господарят ни каза.

and your servants pass over, every armed one of the host, before YHWH, to battle, as my lord is saying.”

28 Тогава Моисей даде поръчка за тях на свещеника Елеазара, на Исуса Навина, и на началниците на бащините домове от племената на израилтяните.

And Moses commands Eleazar the priest, and Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the sons of Israel concerning them;

29 Моисей им рече: Ако гадците и рувимците преминат с вас Иордан, всички въоръжени за бой пред Господа, и се завладее земята пред вас, тогава ще им дадете Галаадската земя за притежание.

and Moses says to them, “If the sons of Gad and the sons of Reuben pass over the Jordan with you, everyone armed for battle, before YHWH, and the land has been subdued before you, then you have given the land of Gilead to them for a possession;

30 Но ако не щат да преминат с вас въоръжени, тогава да вземат наследство между вас в Ханаанската земя.

and if they do not pass over armed with you, then they have possessions in your midst in the land of Canaan.”

31 И гадците и рувимците в отговор рекоха: Както рече Господ на слугите ти, така, ще сторим.

And the sons of Gad and the sons of Reuben answer, saying, “That which YHWH has spoken to your servants, so we do;

32 Ние ще заминем въоръжени пред Господа в Ханаанската земя, за да притежаваме наследството си оттатък Иордан.

we pass over armed before YHWH [to] the land of Canaan, and with us [is] the possession of our inheritance beyond the Jordan.”

33 И тъй, Моисей им даде, то ест, на гадците, на рувимците и на половината от племето на Иосифовия син Манасия, царството на аморейския цар Сион и царството на васанския цар Ог, земята заедно с градовете в пределите й, градовете на околната земя.

And Moses gives to them—to the sons of Gad, and to the sons of Reuben, and to the half of the tribe of Manasseh son of Joseph—the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorite and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land by its cities, in the borders, the cities of the surrounding land.

34 И гадците съградиха Девон, Атарот, Ароир,

And the sons of Gad build Dihon, and Ataroth, and Aroer,

35 Атротсофан, Язир, Иогвея,

and Atroth, Shophan, and Jaazer, and Jogbehah,

36 Ветнимра и Ветаран, укрепени градове и огради за овци.

and Beth-Nimrah, and Beth-Haran, cities of defense, and sheepfolds.

37 А рувимците съградиха Есевон, Елеала, Кириатаим,

And the sons of Reuben have built Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Kirjathaim,

38 Нево и Ваалмеон (с променени имена) и Севама; и преименува градовете, които съградиха.

and Nebo, and Ba‘al-Meon (changed in name), and Shibmah, and they call the names of the cities which they have built by [these] names.

39 И потомците на Манасиевия син Махир отидоха в Галаад, завладяха го и изпъдиха аморейците, които бяха в него.

And sons of Machir son of Manasseh go to Gilead, and capture it, and dispossess the Amorite who [is] in it;

40 За това Моисей даде Галаад на Махира Манасиевия син, и той се засели в него.

and Moses gives Gilead to Machir son of Manasseh, and he dwells in it.

41 А Манасиевият син Яир отиде та завладя градовете му и ги наименува Авот-Яир.

And Jair son of Manasseh has gone and captures their towns, and calls them “Towns of Jair”;

42 И Нова отиде та превзе Кенан и селата му и го наименува Нова по своето име.

and Nobah has gone and captures Kenath and its villages, and calls it Nobah, by his own name.
