Матей 16
1 Тогава фарисеите и садукеите дойдоха при Исуса, и, за да Го изпитат, поискаха Му да им покаже знамение от небето.
Here the Pharisees and Sadducees came to Him; and, to make trial of Him, they asked Him to show them a sign in the sky.
2 А Той в отговор им рече: Когато се свечери, думате
He replied, "In the evening you say, 'It will be fine weather, for the sky is red;'
3 а сутрин: Днес времето ще бъде лошо, защото небето се червенее намръщено. Вие знаете да разтълкувате лицето на небето, а знаменията на времената не можете!
and in the morning, 'It will be rough weather to-day, for the sky is red and murky.' You learn how to distinguish the aspect of the heavens, but the signs of the times you cannot.
4 Зъл и прелюбодеен род иска знамение, но друго знамение няма да му се даде, освен знамението на (пророка) Йона. И остави ги и Си отиде.
A wicked and faithless generation are eager for a sign; but none shall be given to them except the sign of Jonah." and He left them and went away.
5 А учениците, които минаха на отвъдната страна, забравиха да вземат хляб.
When the disciples arrived at the other side of the Lake, they found that they had forgotten to bring any bread;
6 И Исус им рече: Внимавайте и пазете се от кваса на фарисеите и садукеите.
and when Jesus said to them, "See to it: beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees,"
7 А те разискваха помежду си, думайки: Това е защото не сме взели хляб.
they reasoned among themselves, saying, "It is because we have not brought any bread."
8 А Исус, като разбра това, рече: Маловери, защо разисквате помежду си понеже нямате хляб?
Jesus perceived this and said, "Why are you reasoning among yourselves, you men of little faith, because you have no bread?
9 Още ли не разбирате, нито помните петте хляба на петте хиляди души, и колко коша събрахте?
Do you not yet understand? nor even remember the 5,000 and the five loaves, and how many basketfuls you carried away,
10 Нито седемте хляба на четирите хиляди души, и колко кошници събрахте?
nor the 4,000 and the seven loaves, and how many hampers you carried away?
11 Как не разбирате, че не заради хляб ви казах да се пазите от кваса на фарисеите и садукеите?
How is it you do not understand that it was not about bread that I spoke to you? But beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees."
12 Тогава те разбраха, че не им заръча да се пазят от хлебен квас, но от учението на фарисеите и садукеите.
Then they perceived that He had not warned them against bread-yeast, but against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
13 А Исус, като дойде в околностите на Кесария Филипова, попита учениците Си, казвайки: Според както казват хората, Човешкият Син Кой е?
When He arrived in the neighbourhood of Caesarea Philippi, Jesus questioned His disciples. "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?" He asked.
14 А те рекоха: Едни казват, че е Йоан Кръстител; други пък
"Some say John the Baptist," they replied; "others Elijah; others Jeremiah or one of the Prophets."
15 Казва им: Но според както вие казвате, Кой съм Аз?
"But you, who do you say that I am?" He asked again.
16 Симон Петър в отговор рече: Ти си Христос(Т. е. Месия, Помазаник.), Син на живия Бог.
"You," replied Simon Peter, "are the Christ, the Son of the ever-living God."
17 Исус в отговор му каза: Блажен си, Симоне, сине Йонов, защото плът и кръв не са ти открили това, но Отец Ми, Който е на небесата.
"Blessed are you, Simon Bar-jonah," said Jesus; "for mere human nature has not revealed this to you, but my Father in Heaven.
18 Пък и Аз ти казвам, че ти си Петър(Значи: Канара.) и на тая канара ще съградя Моята църква; и портите на ада няма да й надделеят. (Hadēs g86)
And I declare to you that you are Peter, and that upon this Rock I will build my Church, and the might of Hades shall not triumph over it. (Hadēs g86)
19 Ще ти дам ключовете на небесното царство; и каквото вържеш на земята, ще бъде вързано на небесата, а каквото развържеш на земята, ще бъде развързано на небесата.
I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of the Heavens; and whatever you bind on earth shall remain bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall remain loosed in Heaven."
20 Тогава заръча на учениците, никому да не казват, че Той е [Исус] Христос.
Then He urged His disciples to tell no one that He was the Christ.
21 От тогава Исус почна да известява на учениците Си, че трябва да отиде в Ерусалим, и много да пострада от старейшините, главните свещеници и книжниците, и да бъде убит, и на третия ден да бъде възкресен.
From this time Jesus began to explain to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer much cruelty from the Elders and the High Priests and the Scribes, and be put to death, and on the third day be raised to life again.
22 Тогава Петър Го взе и почна да Го мъмри, като казваше: Бог да Ти се смили, Господи; това никак няма да стане с Тебе.
Then Peter took Him aside and began taking Him to task. "Master," he said, "God forbid; this will not be your lot."
23 А Той се обърна и рече на Петра: Махни се зад Мене, Сатано; ти си Ми съблазън; защото не мислиш за Божиите неща, а за човешките.
But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Adversary; you are a hindrance to me, because your thoughts are not God's thoughts, but men's."
24 Тогава Исус каза на учениците Си: Ако иска някой да дойде след Мене, нека се отрече от себе си, нека дигне кръста си, и така нека Ме последва.
Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If any one desires to follow me, let him renounce self and take up his cross, and so be my follower.
25 Защото, който иска да спаси живота(Или: Душата; и така до края на главата.) си, ще го изгуби; а който изгуби живота си, заради Мене, ще го намери.
For whoever desires to save his life shall lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake shall find it.
26 Понеже какво ще се ползува човек, ако спечели целия свят, а живота си изгуби? Или какво ще даде човек в замяна на живота си?
Why, what benefit will it be to a man if he gains the whole world but forfeits his life? Or what shall a man give to buy back his life?
27 Защото Човешкият Син ще дойде в славата на Отца Си със Своите ангели; и тогава ще въздаде всекиму според делата му.
For the Son of Man is soon to come in the glory of the Father with His angels, and then will He requite every man according to his actions.
28 Истина ви казвам: Има някои от стоящите тука, които никак няма да вкусят смърт докле не видят Човешкия Син идещ в царството Си.
I solemnly tell you that some of those who are standing here will certainly not taste death till they have seen the Son of Man coming in His Kingdom."
