Исус Навиев 11
1 А асирийският цар Явин, като чу това, прати до мадонския цар Иовава, до симвронския цар, до ахсафския цар
And it comes to pass, when Jabin king of Hazor hears, that he sends to Jobab king of Madon, and to the king of Shimron, and to the king of Achshaph,
2 и до царете, които бяха на север в хълмистата и в полянската земя на юг от Хинерот, и в долината, и в Нафат-дор на запад,
and to the kings who [are] on the north in the hill-country, and in the plain south of Chinneroth, and in the low country, and in the elevations of Dor, on the west,
3 и до ханаанците, които бяха на изток и на запад, и до аморейците, хетейците, ферезейците и евусейците, под Ермон в земята Масфа.
[to] the Canaanite on the east, and on the west, and the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite in the hill-country, and the Hivite under Hermon, in the land of Mizpeh—
4 И те, и всичките им войнства с тях, люде много, по множество както е пясъкът, който е покрай морето, излязоха с твърде много коне и колесници.
and they go out, they and all their camps with them, a people numerous, as the sand which [is] on the seashore for multitude, and [with] very many horse and charioteer;
5 И като се събраха всички тия царе, дойдоха и заедно разположиха стана си близо при водата Мером, за да се бият с Израиля.
and all these kings are met together, and they come and encamp together at the waters of Merom, to fight with Israel.
6 Тогава Господ каза на Исуса: Да се не убоиш от тях; защото утре, около тоя мас, Аз ще ги предам всички избити пред Израиля; и ще прережеш жилите на конете им, и ще изгориш с огън колесниците им.
And YHWH says to Joshua, “Do not be afraid of their presence, for about this time tomorrow I am giving all of them slain before Israel; hamstring their horses, and burn their chariots with fire.”
7 Исус, прочее, и всичките военни люде с него, отидоха внезапно против тях при водата Мером, и ги нападнаха.
And Joshua comes, and all the people of war with him, against them by the waters of Merom, and they suddenly fall on them;
8 И Господ ги предаде в ръката на Израиля; и те ги поразиха, и гониха ги до големия Сидон и до Мисрефот-маим, и до долината на Масфа на изток, и поразяваха ги догдето не оставиха от тях остатък.
and YHWH gives them into the hand of Israel, and they strike them and pursue them to the great Sidon, and to Misrephoth-Maim, and to the Valley of Mizpeh eastward, and they strike them, until he has not left a remnant to them;
9 Исус из стори, според както Господ му заповяда: преряза жилите на конете им, и изгори с огън колесниците из.
and Joshua does to them as YHWH commanded to him; he has hamstrung their horses, and burned their chariots with fire.
10 В същото време Исус, като се върна, превзе Асор и уби царя им с нож; защото по-напред Асор държеше първенство между всички тия царства.
And Joshua turns back at that time, and captures Hazor, and he has struck its king by the sword; for Hazor [was] formerly head of all these kingdoms;
11 И колкото души имаше в него, убиха с острото на ножа и ги изтребиха като обречени; не остана нищо, което дишаше; и изгори Асор с огън.
and they strike every person who [is] in it by the mouth of the sword; he has devoted—he has not left anyone breathing, and he has burned Hazor with fire;
12 Исус превзе и всичките градове на ония царе, и всичките им царе хвана и ги уби с острото на ножа; изтреби ги според както бе заповядал Господният слуга Моисей.
and all the cities of these kings, and all their kings, Joshua has captured, and he strikes them by the mouth of the sword; he devoted them, as Moses, servant of YHWH, commanded.
13 Но Израил не изгори никой от градовете, които стояха върху хълмовете си, освен един Асор; него Исус изгори.
Only, all the cities which are standing by their hill, Israel has not burned them—except Joshua has burned Hazor, only;
14 Всичките користи на тия градове и добитъкът израилтяните плениха за себе си, а всичките човеци убиваха с острото на ножа, догдето ги изтребиха; не оставиха нищо, което дишаше.
and all the spoil of these cities, and the livestock, the sons of Israel have spoiled for themselves; only, they have struck every man by the mouth of the sword, until their destroying them; they have not left anyone breathing.
15 Както Господ беше заповядал на слугата Си Моисея, така заповяда Моисей на Исуса, така и стори Исус; не престъпи нищо от всичко, което Господ бе заповядал на Моисея.
As YHWH commanded His servant Moses, so Moses commanded Joshua, and so Joshua has done; he has not turned aside a thing of all that YHWH commanded Moses.
16 Така Исус превзе цялата оная хълмиста и цялата южна земя, и цялата Гесанска земя, равнината и полето, хълмистата и равна земя на Израиля,
And Joshua takes all this land: the hill-country, and all the south, and all the land of Goshen, and the low country, and the plain, even the hill-country of Israel and its low lands,
17 от нагорнището Халак, което отива към Сир, до Ваалгад в Ливанската долина под планината Ермон; и хвана всичките им царе, порази ги и ги уби.
from the Mount of Halak, which is going up [to] Seir, and to Ba‘al-Gad, in the Valley of Lebanon, under Mount Hermon; and he has captured all their kings, and he strikes them, and puts them to death.
18 Дълго време воюваше Исус против всички тия царе.
Joshua has made war with all these kings [for] many days;
19 Нямаше град, който сключи мир с израилтяните, освен евейците, които живееха в Гаваон; те превзеха всичките с бой.
there has not been a city which made peace with the sons of Israel except the Hivite, inhabitants of Gibeon; they have taken the whole in battle;
20 Защото от Господа стана да се закоравят сърцата им та да излязат против Израиля на бой, за да го обрече Исус на изтребление, за да не им се покаже милост, но за да ги изтреби, според както Господ беше заповядал на Моисея.
for it has been from YHWH to strengthen their heart, to meet in battle with Israel, in order to devote them, so that they have no grace, but in order to destroy them, as YHWH commanded Moses.
21 В онова време дойде Исус и изтреби енакимите от планинската земя, от Хеврон, от Девир, от Анав, и от цялата Израилева хълмиста земя; Исус ги обрече на изтребление заедно с градовете им.
And Joshua comes at that time, and cuts off the Anakim from the hill-country, from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the hill-country of Judah, and from all the hill-country of Israel; Joshua has devoted them with their cities.
22 Не оставиха енакими в земята на израилтяните; някои от тях останаха само в Газа, Гет и Азот.
There has not been Anakim left in the land of the sons of Israel; only in Gaza, in Gath, and in Ashdod, were they left.
23 Така Исус превзе цялата земя, според всичко що Господ беше казал на Моисея; Исус я даде на Израиля за наледство според както бяха разделени по племената си. И земята утихна от война.
And Joshua takes the whole of the land, according to all that YHWH has spoken to Moses, and Joshua gives it for an inheritance to Israel according to their divisions, by their tribes; and the land has rest from war.
