Еремия 46
1 Господното слово, което дойде към пророк Еремия за народите.
The word of the Lord, that was maad to Jeremye, the profete, ayens hethene men;
2 За Египет. Относно войската на Египетския цар Фараон Нехао, която бе в Кархамис при реката Евфрат, която вавилонският цар Навуходоносор порази в четвъртата година на Юдовия цар Иоаким Иосиевия син:
to Egipt, ayens the oost of Farao Nechao, kyng of Egipt, that was bisidis the flood Eufrates, in Charchamys, whom Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, smoot, in the fourthe yeer of Joachym, sone of Josie, kyng of Juda.
3 Пригответе щит и щитче Та пристъпете на бой.
Make ye redi scheeld and targat, and go ye forth to batel.
4 Впрегнете конете, и вие конници възседнете; И застанете напред с шлемовете си, Лъснете копията, облечете се с брони.
Ioyne ye horsis, and stie, ye knyytis; stonde ye in helmes, polische ye speris, clothe ye you in haburiowns.
5 Защо ги виждам уплашени и върнати назад, Силните им сломени И бърже побягнали, без да гледат назад, И ужас от всяка страна? каза Господ.
What therfor? Y siy hem dredeful, and turnynge the backis, the stronge men of hem slayn; and thei fledden swiftli, and bihelden not; drede was on ech side, seith the Lord.
6 Бързият да не избяга, И силният да се не отърве; Ще се спънат и ще паднат към север При реката Евфрат.
A swift man schal not fle, and a strong man gesse not hym silf to be saued; at the north, bisidis the flood Eufrates, thei weren ouer comun, and fellen doun.
7 Кой е този, който се издига като Нил, Чиито води се вълнуват като реки?
Who is this, that stieth as a flood, and hise swelewis wexen greet as of floodis?
8 Египет е, който се издига като Нил, И неговите води се вълнуват като реки; И той казва: Ще се издигна, ще покрия света, Ще разоря и града и жителите му.
Egipte stiede at the licnesse of a flood, and hise wawis schulen be mouyd as floodis; and it schal seie, Y schal stie, and hile the erthe; Y schal leese the citee, and dwelleris therof.
9 Напред, коне! Спускайте се диво, колесници! Нека излизат силните! Ония от Етиопия и Ливия, които държат щит, И лидийците, които употребяват и запъват лък!
Stie ye on horsis, and make ye ful out ioie in charis; and stronge men, come forth, Ethiopie and Libie, holdynge scheeld, and Lidii, takynge and schetynge arowis.
10 Защото тоя ден е ден на Иеова, Господ на Силите, Ден за въздаяние, за да въздаде на враговете Си; Ножът ще ги пояде, И ще се насити и опие от кръвта им; Защото Иеова, Господ на Силите, има жертва В северната страна при реката Евфрат.
Forsothe that dai of the Lord God of oostis is a dai of veniaunce, that he take veniaunce of hise enemyes; the swerd schal deuoure, and schal be fillid, and schal greetli be fillid with the blood of hem; for whi the slayn sacrifice of the Lord of oostis is in the lond of the north, bisidis the flood Eufrates.
11 Даже ако възлезеш в Галаад и вземеш балсама, Девице, дъщерьо Египетска, Напразно ще употребяваш много церове, Защото няма изцеление за тебе.
Thou virgyn, the douyter of Egipt, stie in to Galaad, and take medicyn. In veyn thou schalt multiplie medecyns; helthe schal not be to thee.
12 Народите чуха за посрамяването ти, И викът ти изпълни света; Защото силен се сблъсква със силен, Та и двамата паднаха заедно.
Hethene men herden thi schenschipe, and thi yellyng fillide the erthe; for a strong man hurtlide ayens a strong man, and bothe fellen doun togidere.
13 Словото, което Господ говори на пророк Еремия за дохождането на вавилонския цар Навуходоносор, за да порази Египетската земя:
The word which the Lord spak to Jeremye, the profete, on that that Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, was to comynge, and to smytynge the lond of Egipt.
14 Известете в Египет и разгласете в Мигдол, Възгласете в Мемфис и в Тафнес; Речете: Застани на ред и бъди готов, Защото ножът изяде ония, които са около тебе.
Telle ye to Egipt, and make ye herd in Magdalo, and sowne it in Memphis, and seie ye in Taphnys, Stonde thou, and make thee redi, for a swerd schal deuoure tho thingis that ben bi thi cumpas.
15 Защо се завлякоха твоите юнаци? Не устояха, защото Господ ги откара.
Whi hath thi strong man wexe rotun? He stood not, for the Lord vndurturnede hym.
16 Той накара мнозина да се спъват; Даже паднаха един върху друг; И казваха: Станете да се върнем при людете си И в родната си земя От лютия нож,
He multipliede falleris, and a man felle doun to his neiybore; and thei schulen seie, Rise ye, and turne we ayen to oure puple, and to the lond of oure birthe, fro the face of swerd of the culuer.
17 Те викаха там: Египетският цар Фараон е празен шум; Той пропусна определеното време.
Clepe ye the name of Farao, kyng of Egipt; the tyme hath brouyt noise.
18 Заклевам се в живота Си, казва Царят, Чието име е Господ на Силите, Че както един Тавор между планините, И както един Кармил при морето, Така непременно ще дойде той.
Y lyue, seith the kyng, the Lord of oostis is his name; for it schal come as Thabor in hillis, and as Carmele in the see.
19 Дъщерьо, която живееше в Египет, Приготви си потребното за плен; Защото Мемфис ще запустее и ще бъде изгорен, И ще остане без жител.
Thou dwelleresse, the douyter of Egipt, make to thee vessels of passyng ouer; for whi Memfis schal be in to wildirnesse, and schal be forsakun vnhabitable.
20 Египет е като прекрасна юница; Но погибел иде от север, да! иде.
Egipt is a schapli cow calf, and fair; a prickere fro the north schal come to it.
21 И самите му наемници всред него са като тлъсти юнци; Защото и те се върнаха, Побягнаха заедно, не устояха; Понеже денят на бедствието им дойде върху тях. Времето на наказанието им.
Also the hirid men therof, that liueden as caluys maad fatte in the myddis therof, ben turned, and fledden togidere, and miyten not stonde; for the dai of sleynge of hem schal come on hem, the tyme of the visityng of hem.
22 Гласът му е като глас на земя като се хлъзга; Защото излизат със сила, И идат против него със секири Както дървари.
The vois of hem schal sowne as of bras, for thei schulen haste with oost, and with axis thei schulen come to it. As men kittynge doun trees thei kittiden doun the forest therof,
23 Ще изсекат леса му, казва Господ, Ако и да е неизследим; Защото по множество те са повече от скакалците, И са безбройни.
seith the Lord, which mai not be noumbrid; thei ben multiplied ouer locustis, and no noumbre is in hem.
24 Ще се посрами Египетската дъщеря; Ще бъде предадена в ръката на северните люде.
The douytir of Egipt is schent, and bitakun in to the hond of the puple of the north,
25 Господ на Силите, Израилевият Бог, казва: Ето, ще накажа Но-Амон, Да! Фараона и Египет, Боговете му и царете му, Самият Фараон и ония, които уповават на него;
seide the Lord of oostis, God of Israel. Lo! Y schal visite on the noise of Alisaundre, and on Farao, and on Egipt, and on the goddis therof, and on the kyngis therof, and on hem that tristen in hym.
26 И ще ги предам в ръката на ония, които искат живота им, В ръката на вавилонския цар Навуходоносора И в ръката на слугите му; А подир това Египет ще бъде населен, Както в по-предишните дни, казва Господ.
And Y schal yyue hem in to the hondis of men that seken the lijf of hem, and in to the hondis of Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, and in to the hondis of hise seruauntis; and aftir these thingis it schal be enhabitid, as in the formere daies, seith the Lord.
27 Но не бой се, ти, служителю Мой Якове, Нито се страхувай, Израилю; Защото, ето, ще те избавя от далечна страна, И потомството ти от земята, гдето са пленени; Яков ще се върне, ще се успокои, и ще си почине, И не ще има кой да го плаши.
And thou, Jacob, my seruaunt, drede thou not, and Israel, drede thou not; for lo! Y schal make thee saaf fro fer place, and thi seed fro the lond of his caitiftee; and Jacob schal turne ayen, and schal reste, and schal haue prosperite, and noon schal be, that schal make hym aferd.
28 Не бой се, служителю Мой Якове, казва Господ, Защото Аз съм с тебе; Защото ако ида довърша Всичките народи, гдето съм те откарал, Тебе обаче не ща да довърша; Но ще те накажа с мярка, А не мога да те изкарам съвсем невинен.
And Jacob, my seruaunt, nyle thou drede, seith the Lord, for Y am with thee; for Y schal waste alle folkis, to whiche Y castide thee out; but Y schal not waste thee, but Y schal chastise thee in doom, and Y schal not spare thee as innocent.
