Еремия 13
1 Така ми рече Господ: Иди та си купи ленен пояс, и опаши го на кръста си, но във вода не го туряй.
Thus said the Lord unto me, Go and buy thee a linen girdle, and put it around thy loins, and lay it not in water.
2 И тъй, купих пояса, според Господното слово, и опасах го на кръста си.
So I bought the girdle, according to the word of the Lord, and put it around my loins.
3 И Господното слово дойде към мене втори път и рече:
And the word of the Lord came unto me the second time, saying,
4 Вземи пояса, който си купил, който е на кръста ти, и стани та иди при Ефрат, и скрий го там в някоя пукнатина на канарата.
Take the girdle that thou hast bought, which is around thy loins; and arise, go to the Euphrates, and hide it there in a cleft of the rock.
5 Прочее, отидох та го скрих при Ефрат, според както ми заповяда Господ.
So I went, and hid it by the Euphrates, as the Lord has commanded me.
6 И подир много дни Господ ми рече: Стани та иди при Ефрат, и вземи оттам пояса, който ти заповядах да скриеш там.
And it came to pass at the end of many days, that the Lord said unto me, Arise, go to the Euphrates, and take from there the girdle, which I commanded thee to hide there.
7 Тогава отидох при Ефрат та изкопах, и взех пояса от мястото гдето бях го скрил; и, ето, поясът беше се развалил, не струваше нищо.
And I went to the Euphrates, and dug, and took the girdle from the place where I had hidden it: and, behold, the girdle was spoiled, it was useful for nothing.
8 Тогава Господното слово дойде към мене и рече:
Then came the word of the Lord unto me, saying,
9 Така казва Господ: Също тъй ще разваля гордостта на Юда И голямата гордост на Ерусалим.
Thus hath said the Lord, After this manner will I destroy the pride of Judah, and the pride of Jerusalem, which is great.
10 Тия зли люде, които отказват да слушат думите Ми, Които ходят според упоритостта на своето сърце, И следват други богове, за да им служат и да им се кланят, Ще бъдат като тоя пояс, който не струва за нищо.
And this bad people, who refuse to hearken to my words, who walk in the stubbornness of their heart, and have followed other gods, to serve them, and to bow down to them, shall even be as this girdle which is useful for nothing.
11 Защото като пояс, който прилепва за кръста на човека, Аз прилепих при Себе Си целия Изреилев дом И целия Юдов дом, казва Господ, За да Ми бъдат люде и име, Хвала и слава; но не послушаха.
For as the girdle cleaveth to the loins of a man, so had I caused to cleave unto me all the house of Israel and all the house of Judah, saith the Lord, —to become unto me a people, and [to be] for a name, and for praise, and for honor; but they would not hear.
12 За туй, кажи им това слово - Така казва Господ Израилевият Бог: Всеки мех се пълни с вино; И те ще ти рекат: Та не знаем ли ние, че всеки мех се пълни с вино?
Therefore shalt thou say unto them this word, Thus hath said the Lord the God of Israel, Every bottle shall be filled with wine: and when they will say unto thee, Do we not know full well that every bottle shall be filled with wine?
13 Тогава речи им - Така казва Господ: Ето, ще напълня до опиване всичките жители на тая земя, - Царете, които седят на Давидовия престол, Свещениците, пророците, И всичките Ерусалимски жители.
Then shalt thou say unto them, Thus hath said the Lord, Behold, I will fill all the inhabitants of this land, even the kings that sit after David upon his throne, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, with drunkenness.
14 Ще ги удрям един о друг, Бащите и синовете заедно, казва Господ; Няма да пожаля, нито да пощадя, нито да покажа милост Та да ги не изтребя.
And I will dash them one against the other, even the fathers and the sons together, saith the Lord: I will not pity, nor spare, nor have mercy, so as not to destroy them.
15 Слушайте и внимавайте, не се надигайте; Защото Господ е говорил.
Hear ye, and bend your ear: be not proud; for the Lord hath spoken.
16 Дайте слава на Господа вашия Бог, Преди да докара тъмнина, Преди нозете ви да се препънат по тъмните планини, И преди Той да превърне в мрачна сянка Виделото, което вие очаквате, И да го направи гъста тъмнина.
Give unto the Lord your God glory, before he cause darkness, and before your feet strike upon the mountains of twilight, and [where], while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and change it into gross darkness.
17 Но ако не послушате това, Душата ми ще плаче тайно, поради гордостта ви; И окото ми ще се просълзи горчиво и ще рони сълзи, Защото стадото Господно се завежда в плен.
But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places because of [your] pride; and my eye shall weep sorely, and run down with tears, because the flock of the Lord is driven away captive.
18 Кажи на царя и на овдовялата царица: Смирете се, седнете ниско, Защото падна главното ви украшение, Славната ви корона.
Say unto the king and to the queen-mother, Sit down very lowly; for sunk down are your head-attires, the crown of your ornament.
19 Градовете на Юг са закарани в плен, Той цял е заведен в плен.
The cities of the south are shut up, and there is no one to open them: Judah is carried away into exile altogether, it is carried into exile completely.
20 Дигни очите си та виж идещите от север; Где е стадото, което ти се даде, - хубавите твои овце?
Lift up your eyes, and see those that are coming from the north: where is the flock that was given thee, thy splendid flock?
21 Какво ще речеш, когато ще постави Приятелите ти да началствуват над тебе, Тъй като ти сам си ги научил да бъдат против тебе? Не ще ли те хванат болки както на жена, която ражда?
What wilt thou say when he will punish thee? since thou hast accustomed them to be over thee captains, and chiefs? shall not pangs seize upon thee, as on a woman in travail?
22 Ако ли речеш в сърцето си: Защо ми се случи това? Поради многото ти беззаконие дигнаха се полите ти, И петите ти понасят насилие.
And if thou wilt say in thy heart, Wherefore come these things upon me? For the greatness of thy iniquity are thy skirts laid open, thy heels are made bare violently.
23 Може ли етиопянин да промени кожата си, или леопард пъстротите си? Тогава можете да правите добро вие, които сте се научили да правите зло.
Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? [then] may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.
24 Затова, ще ги разпръсна като плява, Която се разнася от пустинния вятър.
Therefore will I scatter them as the stubble that passeth away before the wind of the wilderness.
25 Това е, което ти се пада с жребие от Мене, Отмереният ти дял, казва Господ, - Понеже си Ме забравил и си уповавал на лъжа,
This is thy lot, the portion of thy measures from me, saith the Lord; because thou hast forgotten me, and trusted in falsehood.
26 Затова и Аз ще дигна полите ти до лицето ти, Та ще се яви срамотата ти.
Therefore do I also strip up thy skirts over thy face, that thy shame may be seen.
27 Видях твоите мерзости по хълмовете и по полетата, Прелюбодействата ти и цвиленията ти, Безсрамното ти блудство. Горко ти, Ерусалиме! До кога още няма да се очистиш?
Thy adulteries and thy loud shoutings, the lewdness of thy incest, thy abominations on the hills in the fields have I seen. Woe unto thee, O Jerusalem! thou wilt not be made clean after ever so long a time.
