Исая 34

1 Приближете се народи, за да чуете, И внимавайте, племена; Нека чуе земята и това, което я изпълва, Светът и всичко, което се произвежда от него.

Come near ye nations to hear, And, ye races, attend, —Let the earth hear, and the fulness thereof, The world and all things produced therefrom:

2 Защото Господ негодува спрямо всичките народи, И пламенно се гневи на всичките им множества; Обрекъл ги е на изтребление, Предал ги е на клане.

That Yahweh hath wrath against all the nations, and indignation against all their host, —He hath devoted them to destruction He hath delivered them to slaughter;

3 Също и убитите им ще бъдат разхвърлени, И вонята от труповете им ще се дигне, И планините ще се разтопят в кръвта им.

And their slain shall be cast out, And their carcases, the stench of them shall ascend, —And, the mountains, shall melt away with their blood.

4 И цялото небесно множество ще се разложи, И небето ще се свие като свитък; И цялото му множество ще падне Както пада лист от лоза, И като паднал лист от смоковница.

Then shall be dissolved all the host of the heavens, And the heavens shall roll up as a scroll, —Yea, all their host, shall fade—Like the fading and falling of a leaf from a vine, and Like what fadeth and falleth from a fig-tree.

5 Понеже ножът Ми се напи в небесата, Затова, ето, ще сляза за съдба върху Едом, Да! Върху людете, които Аз обрекох на изтребление

For my sword hath been sated in the heavens, —Lo! upon Edom, shall it descend, Even on the people whom I have devoted to justice.

6 Ножът Господен е пълен с кръв, Затлъстя с тлъстина, С кръвта на агнетата и яретата, С тлъстините на овнешките бъбреци; Защото Господ има жертви във Восора, И голямо клане в Едомската земя.

A sword, hath Yahweh—Glutted with blood Sated with fat, —With the blood of well-fed lambs and he-goats, With the fat of the kidneys of rams, —For, a sacrifice, hath Yahweh in Bozrah, Yea a great slaughter in the land of Edom;

7 Дивите волове ще слязат с тях, И телците с биковете; Земята им ще се напои с кръв, И пръстта им ще затлъстее с тлъстина.

Then shall buffaloes come down with them, And bullocks with bulls, —So shall their land be soaked with blood, And, their dust, with fat, shall be enriched.

8 Защото е ден на възмездие от Господа, Година на въздаяния по сионовото състезание.

For a day of avenging, hath Yahweh, —A year of requitals for the quarrel of Zion.

9 Потоците на Едом ще се превърнат в смола. И пръстта му в сяра, И земята му ще стане пламтяща смола

Then shall the torrents thereof be turned into pitch, And the dust thereof, into brimstone, —So shall her land become burning pitch:

10 Няма да угасне ни нощем ни денем; Димът и ще се издигне непрестанно; Из род в род ще остане опустошена; Никой не ще мине през нея до века.

Neither night nor day, shall it be quenched, To times age-abiding, shall ascend the smoke thereof, —From generation to generation, shall it be waste, Never, never, shall any pass through it:

11 Но пеликанът и ежът ще я наследят; Кукумявката и гарванът ще живеят в нея; И Господ ще простре върху нея връв за разорение, И отвес за изпразване.

That the vomiting pelican and the bittern may possess it: And the great owl and the raven, dwell therein; Then will he stretch out over it The line of desolation, and The plummet of emptiness.

12 Колкото за благородните му, никой от тях няма да се намери там, Та да провъзгласят царството; И всичките му първенци ще достигнат до нищо.

Her nobles (but none, are, there)! unto royalty, will call, —All, all her princes, shall become nought.

13 Тръни ще поникнат в палатите му, Коприва и къпини в крепостите му; И ще бъде заселище на чакали, Двор на камилоптици.

Then shall come up, in her palaces thorns Nettles and thistles in her fortresses, —And she shall become A home for wild dogs, An enclosure for ostriches;

14 Дивите котки ще се срещат там с хиените, И пръчът ще провиква към другаря си; Тоже и бухалът ще се настани там Като си намира място за почивка.

Then shall criers meet with howlers, And, the shaggy creature, unto his fellow, shall call, —Only, there, shall, the night-spectre, Make her settlement, And find for herself a place of rest:

15 Там ще се загнездя стрелницата змия, И, като носи яйца и мъти, Ще събира малките си под сянката си; Да! там ще се събират лешоядите, Всеки с другарката си.

There, shall, the arrow-snake, Make her nest and lay, And hatch and gather under her shadow, —Only, there, shall be gathered the falcons, every one with her mate.

16 Потърсете в книгата Господна та прочетете; Никое от тия не ще липсва Нито ще бъде без другарката си; Защото казва Господ: Моите уста заповядаха това; И самият Негов Дух ги събра.

Seek ye out of the scroll of Yahweh, and read, Not, one from among them, is lacking, None, hath missed, her mate, —For, a mouth, hath, itself commanded, And, his spirit, hath itself gathered them:

17 Той хвърли жребие за тях, И неговата ръка им раздели с мерна връв оная земя; ти ще я владеят до века, Из род в род ще обитават в нея.

Yea he himself, hath cast for them a lot, And his own hand, hath given to them a portion by line, —Unto times age-abiding, shall they possess it, To generation after generation, shall they dwell therein.
