Битие 6
1 Като почнаха човеците да се размножават по лицето на земята и им се раждаха дъщери,
So when men began to be multiplied vpon the earth, and there were daughters borne vnto them,
2 Божиите синове, като гледаха, че човешките дъщери бяха красиви, вземаха си за жени от всички, които избираха.
Then the sonnes of God sawe the daughters of men that they were faire, and they tooke them wiues of all that they liked.
3 И тогава рече Господ; Духът който съм му дал не ще владее вечно в човека; в блуждаенето си той е плът; затова дните му ще бъдат сто и двадесет години.
Therefore the Lord saide, My Spirit shall not alway striue with man, because he is but flesh, and his dayes shalbe an hundreth and twentie yeeres.
4 В ония дни се намираха исполините на земята; а при това, след като Божиите синове влизаха при човешките дъщери, и те им раждаха синове, тези бяха ония силни и прочути старовременни мъже.
There were gyants in the earth in those dayes: yea, and after that the sonnes of God came vnto the daughters of men, and they had borne them children, these were mightie men, which in olde time were men of renoume.
5 И като видя Господ, че се умножава нечестието на човека по земята и че всичко, което мислите на сърцето му въображяваха, беше постоянно само зло,
When the Lord sawe that the wickednesse of man was great in the earth, and all the imaginations of the thoughtes of his heart were onely euill continually,
6 разкая се Господ, че беше направил човека на земята, и огорчи се в сърцето Си.
Then it repented ye Lord, that he had made man in the earth, and he was sorie in his heart.
7 И рече Господ: Ще изтребя от лицето на земята човека, когото създадох, - човеци, зверове, влечуги и въздушни птици, - понеже се разкаях, че ги създадох.
Therefore ye Lord said, I will destroy from the earth the man, whom I haue created, from man to beast, to the creeping thing, and to the foule of the heauen: for I repent that I haue made them.
8 А Ной придоби Господното благоволение.
But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.
9 Ето Ноевото потомство. Ной беше човек праведен, непорочен между съвременниците си; той ходеше по Бога.
These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a iust and vpright man in his time: and Noah walked with God.
10 И Ной роди три сина: Сима, Хама и Яфета.
And Noah begate three sonnes, Shem, Ham and Iapheth.
11 И земята се разврати пред Бога; земята се изпълни с насилие.
The earth also was corrupt before God: for the earth was filled with crueltie.
12 И Бог видя земята; и, ето, тя бе развратена защото всяка твар се обхождаше развратно на земята.
Then God looked vpon the earth, and beholde, it was corrupt: for all flesh had corrupt his way vpon the earth.
13 И рече Бог на Ноя: Краят на всяка твар се предвижда от Мене, защото земята се изпълни с насилие чрез тях; затова, ето, ще ги изтребя заедно със земята.
And God said vnto Noah, An ende of all flesh is come before me: for the earth is filled with crueltie through them: and beholde, I wil destroy them with the earth.
14 Направи си ковчег от гоферово дърво; стаи да направиш в ковчега; и да го измажеш отвътре и отвън със смола.
Make thee an Arke of pine trees: thou shalt make cabines in the Arke, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.
15 Направи го така: дължината на ковчега да бъде триста лакти, широчината му петдесет лакти, а височината му тридесет лакти.
And thus shalt thou make it: The length of the Arke shalbe three hundreth cubites, the breadth of it fiftie cubites, and the height of it thirtie cubites.
16 Прозорец направи на ковчега, като изкараш ковчега без един лакът до върха, а вратата на ковчега постави отстрана; направи го с долен, среден и горен етаж.
A windowe shalt thou make in the Arke, and in a cubite shalt thou finish it aboue, and the doore of the Arke shalt thou set in the side thereof: thou shalt make it with the lowe, seconde and third roume.
17 ето, Аз ще докарам на земята потоп от вода, за да изтребя под небето всяка твар, която има в себе си жизнено дихание; всичко що се намира на земята ще измре.
And I, beholde, I will bring a flood of waters vpon the earth to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life vnder the heauen: all that is in the earth shall perish.
18 Но с тебе ще поставя завета Си; и ще влезеш в ковчега ти, синовете ти, жена ти и снахите ти с тебе.
But with thee will I establish my couenant, and thou shalt goe into the Arke, thou, and thy sonnes, and thy wife, and thy sonnes wiues with thee.
19 И от всичко, от всякакъв вид твар, която живее, да вкараш в ковчега по две от всеки вид, за да опазиш живота им със себе си; мъжко и женско да бъдат.
And of euery liuing thing, of all flesh two of euery sort shalt thou cause to come into the Arke, to keepe them aliue with thee: they shalbe male and female.
20 От птиците според вида им, от добитъка според вида му, и от всичките земни животни според вида им, по две от всички да влязат при тебе, за да им опазиш живота.
Of the foules, after their kinde, and of the cattell after their kind, of euery creeping thing of the earth after his kinde, two of euery sort shall come vnto thee, that thou mayest keepe them aliue.
21 А ти си вземи от всякаква храна, която се яде, и събери я при себе си, та да послужи за храна на тебе и на тях.
And take thou with thee of all meate that is eaten: and thou shalt gather it to thee, that it may be meate for thee and for them.
22 И Ной извърши всичко според както му заповяда Бог; така стори.
Noah therefore did according vnto all, that God commanded him: euen so did he.
