Битие 49
1 Тогава Яков повика синовете си и рече: Съберете се, за да ви известя какво ще ви се случи в следващите дни:
Then called Jacob unto his sons, —and said—Gather yourselves together, and let me tell you, that which shall befall you in the afterpart of the days.
2 Съберете се и слушайте, синове Яковови, И послушайте Израиля, баща си.
Assemble yourselves and hear ye sons of Jacob, —And hearken unto Israel your father!
3 Рувиме, ти си първородният мой, мощта моя, и първият плод на силата ми, Превъзходен по достойнство, и превъзходен по сила.
Reuben, my first-born, thou, My vigour, and the first-fruit of my strength, —Pre-eminence of elevation and pre-eminence of power:
4 Изврял си като вода; не ще имаш превъзходството, Защото си се качил на леглото на баща си, И тогава си го осквернил. На леглото ми се е качил!
Boiling over like water, thou mayest not have pre-eminence, Because thou didst mount the bed of thy father, —Then, wast thou profane—My marriage-bed, he mounted!
5 Симеон и Левий са братя; Сечива насилствени са ножовете им.
Simeon and Levi, are brethren, —Instruments of violence, are their agreements:
6 В съвета им да не участвуваш, душе моя; Към събранието им да се не присъединиш, славо моя, Защото в гнева си убиха човеци И в упорството си прерязаха жилите на волове.
Into their circle, do not thou enter my soul! In their convocation, do not thou join mine honour! For in their anger, they slew brave men, And in their wantonness, they ham-strung oxen.
7 Проклет гневът им, защото беше свиреп, И яростта им, защото бе жестока! Ще ги разделя в Якова, И ще ги разпръсна в Израиля.
Accursed, be their anger, because fierce, And their wrath because cruel, —I divide them in Jacob, And I disperse them in Israel.
8 Юдо, тебе ще похвалят братята ти; Ръката ти ще бъде на врата на неприятелите ти; Синовете на баща ти ще ти се кланят.
Judah, as for thee, thy brethren shall praise thee when thy hand is on the neck of thy foes, —The sons of thy father, shall bow them-selves down to thee:
9 Млад лъв е Юда; От плячка, сине мой, си се въздигнал; Легнал и разпрострял се е като лъв И като лъвица; кой ще го възбуди?
A lion’s whelp, is Judah, From the prey, my son hast thou come up! He hath stooped—hath crouched As a lion—or as a lioness, Who shall rouse him?
10 Не ще липсва скиптър от Юда, Нито управителев жезъл отсред нозете му, Докле дойде Сило; И нему ще се покоряват племената.
The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, Nor the commander’s staff from between his feet, —Until that he come in as a Shiloh, And, his, be the obedience of the peoples:
11 Като връзва за лозата оселчето си И за отборната лоза жребчето на ослицата си, Ще опере с вино дрехата си, И с кръвта на гроздето облеклото си.
Binding, to the vine, his ass, And to the choice vine his ass’s colt, He hath washed in wine his raiment, And in the blood of grapes, his mantle:
12 Очите му ще червенеят от вино. И зъбите му ще белеят от мляко.
Darker—his eyes, than wine, —Whiter—his teeth than milk!
13 Завулон ще обитава край брега на езерото, И ще бъде пристанище на кораби; И ще граничи със Сидон.
Zebulon, by a haven of seas, shall he settle down, —Even he, by a haven of ships, With his utmost part upon Zidon.
14 Исахар е як осел, Който се е проснал между кошарите;
Issachar, an ass of strength, —couching between the pens;
15 И като видя, че мястото беше добро за почивка, И че страната беше приятна, Подложи плещите си за товар, И стана слуга подчинен.
Then beholdeth he rest, that it is good, And the ground that it is pleasant, —So he bendeth his shoulder to bear, And becometh a tributary servant.
16 Дан ще съди людете си, Като едно от Израилевите племена.
Dan, shall vindicate his people, —as one of the tribes of Israel;
17 Дан ще бъде змия на пътя, Ехидна на пътеката, Която хапе петите на коня, Тъй че ездачът му пада назад.
It cometh to pass that, Dan, is a serpent upon the way, A horned viper, upon the path, —That biteth the heels of the horse, And his rider falleth backwards: —
18 Твоето спасение чаках, Господи.
For thy salvation, have I waited O Yahweh!
19 Гада ще разбият разбойници; Но и той ще разбие петите им.
Gad! a troop shall troop on him, —But, he, shall troop on the rear.
20 Хлябът от Асира ще бъде изряден; И той ще доставя царски сладкиши.
Out of Asher, fatness, is his food, —So, he, setteth forth dainties for a king.
21 Нефталим е елен пуснат, Който говори угодни думи.
Naphtali, is a slender hind, —That putteth forth antlers of beauty.
22 Иосиф е плодоносна вейка, Плодоносна вейка край извор; Клончетата й се простират по стената.
A fruitful bough, is Joseph, A fruitful bough over a fountain, —Branches creeping over a wall.
23 Стрелците го огорчиха, И стреляха по него, и преследваха го;
So they attack him and have shot, —So they enclose him, do the masters of arrows.
24 Но лъкът му запази якостта си. И мишците на ръцете му се укрепиха, Чрез ръцете на Силния Яковов, - Отгдето е пастирът, Израилевият камък,
But abideth, as an enduring one, his bow, And supple are the arms of his hands, —From the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, From thence, is the Shepherd the Stone of Israel:
25 Чрез Бога на отца ти, Който ще ти помага. И чрез Всесилния, Който ще те благославя. С небесни благословения от горе, С благословения на бездната, която лежи отдолу С благословения на съсците и на утробата.
From the GOD of thy father who doth help thee And GOD Almighty who doth bless thee, Blessings of the heavens, above, Blessings of the abyss, couching beneath, —Blessings of breasts and womb:
26 Благословенията на отца ти превишаваха, Благословенията на праотците ми, До високите върхове на вечните планини; Те ще бъдат на Иосифовата глава, И на темето на превъзходния между братята си.
The blessings of thy father, have prevailed, Over the blessings of the perpetual mountains, The charm of the age-abiding hills, —They turn out to be, for the head of Joseph, And for the crown of the head of him who was set apart from his brethren.
27 Вениамин е вълк грабител; Заран ще пояжда лов. А вечер ще дели корист.
Benjamin a wolf that teareth in pieces, In the morning, he eateth prey, And at eventide, he divideth spoil.
28 Всички тия са дванадесетте Израилеви племена; и това е, което изговори баща им като ги благослови; всеки благослови според благословението, което му се падаше.
All these, are the twelve tribes of Israel, —And this, is that which their father spake to them when he blessed them, Each man severally according to the blessing wherewith he blessed them.
29 Още им заръча, като им каза: Аз се прибирам при людете си; погребете ме с бащите ми в пещерата, която е в нивата на хетееца Ефрона.
Then commanded he them and said unto them—I, am about to be gathered unto my people, Bury me among my fathers, —within the cave, that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite:
30 В пещерата, която е в нивата Махпелах, която е срещу Мамврий в Ханаанската земя, която пещера Авраам купи заедно с нивата от хетееца Ефрона за собствено гробище.
in the cave that is in the field of Machpelah which is over against Mamre, in the land of Canaan, —which Abraham bought, along with the field, from Ephron the Hittite for a possession of a buryingplace: —
31 Там погребаха Авраама и жена му Сара; там погребаха Исаака и жена му Ревека; и там погребах аз Лия.
There, buried they Abraham, and Sarah his wife, There, buried they Isaac, and Rebekah his wife, —And there, buried I Leah: —
32 Нивата и пещерата, която е в нея, бяха купени от хетейците.
buying the field and the cave that is therein, from the sons of Heth.
33 А като свърши Яков поръчките към синовете си, притегли нозете си в леглото и издъхна, и се прибра при людете си.
So Jacob made an end of commanding his sons, and gathered up his feet into the couch, —and ceased to breathe and was gathered unto his people.
