Битие 19
1 Привечер дойдоха двама ангела в Содом; а Лот седеше в Содомската порта. И като ги видя, Лот стана да ги посрещне, поклони се с лице до земята и рече:
And there came. ij. angells to Sodome at euen. And Lot satt at the gate of the cyte. And Lot sawe the and rose vp agaynst them and he bowed hym selfe to he grounde with his face.
2 Ето, господари мои, свърнете, моля, в къщата на слугата си, пренощувайте и си умийте нозете, и утре станете та си идете по пътя. А те рекоха: Не, на улицата ще пренощуваме.
And he sayde: Se lordes turne in I praye you in to youre servauntes house and tary all nyghte and wash youre fete and ryse vp early and go on youre wayes. And they sayde: nay but we will byde in the streates all nyghte.
3 Но, като настояваше много, те се отбиха към него и влязоха в къщата му; и той им направи угощение и изпече безквасни хлябове; и ядоха.
And he copelled them excedyngly. And they turned in vnto hym and entred in to his house and he made them a feaste and dyd bake swete cakes and they ate.
4 А преди да си легнат те, градските мъже, Содомските жители, млади и стари, всичките люде от всякъде, обиколиха къщата
But before they went to rest the men of the cyte of Sodome compassed the house rownde aboute both olde and yonge all the people from all quarters.
5 и викаха на Лота, казвайки: Где са мъжете, които дойдоха у тебе тая нощ? Изведи ни ги да ги познаем.
And they called vnto Lot and sayde vnto him: where are the men which came in to thy house to nyghte? brynge the out unto vs that we may do oure lust with them.
6 А Лот излезе при тях пред вратата, затвори вратата след себе си, и рече:
And Lot went out at doores vnto them and shote the dore after him
7 Моля ви се, братя мои, не правете такова нечестие.
and sayde: nay for goddes sake brethren do not so wekedly.
8 Вижте сега, имам две дъщери, които не са познали мъж; тях да ви изведа вън, и сторете с тях, каквото ви се вижда угодно; само на тия мъже не струвайте нищо, понеже затова са влезли по покрива на стрехата ми.
Beholde I haue two doughters which haue knowne no man the will I brynge out vnto you: do with them as it semeth you good: Only vnto these men do nothynge for therfore came they vnder the shadowe of my rofe.
9 Но те рекоха: Махни се нататък. Рекоха още: Той дойде тук самичък и пришелец, а иска още и съдия да стане; ей сега на тебе ще сторим по-голямо зло, отколкото на тях. И насилваха премного човека, Лота, и приближиха се да разбият вратата.
And they sayde: come hither. And they sayde: camest thou not in to sogeorne and wilt thou be now a iudge? we will suerly deale worse with the than with themAnd as they preased fore vppon Lot and beganne to breake vp the doore
10 Но мъжете простряха ръце, дръпнаха Лота при себе си, в къщи, и затвориха вратата.
the men put forth their handes and pulled Lot in to the house to them and shott to the doore.
11 Тоже и поразиха със слепота човеците, които бяха пред вратата на къщата, и малък и голям, тъй щото се умориха, като търсеха вратата.
And the men that were at the doore of the house they smote with blyndnesse both small and greate: so that they coude not fynde the doore.
12 Тогава мъжете рекоха на Лота: Имаш ли тука друг някой: зет, синове, дъщери и които и да било други, що имаш в града, изведи ги из това място;
And the men sayde moreover vnto Lot: Yf thou have yet here any sonne in lawe or sonnes or doughters or what so euer thou hast in the cyte brynge it out of this place:
13 защото ние ще съсипем мястото, понеже силен стана викът им пред Господа, и Господ ни изпрати да го съсипем.
for we must destroy this place because the crye of the is great before the LORde. Wherfore he hath sent vs to destroy it.
14 И тъй, Лот излезе и говори на зетьовете си, които щяха да водят дъщерите му и рече: Станете, излезте из това място, защото Господ ще съсипе града. Но не зетьовете му се видя, че той се шегува.
And Lot went out and spake vnto his sonnes in lawe which shulde haue maried his doughters and sayde: stonde vpp and get yow out of this place for the LORde will destroy the cite. But he semed as though he had mocked vnto his sonnes in law.
15 Когато се зазори, ангелите настояваха пред Лота, казвайки: Стани, вземи жена си и двете си дъщери, които са тука, за да не погинеш всред наказанието на тоя град.
And as the mornynge arose the angells caused Lot to spede him saynge. Stonde vp take thy wyfe and thy two doughters and that that is at hande lest thou perish in the synne of the cyte.
16 Но тоя се бавеше; затова мъжете хванаха за ръка него, жена му и двете му дъщери, изведоха го и поставиха го вън от града; понеже Господ го пожали.
And as he prolonged the tyme the men caught both him his wife ad his two doughters by the handes because the LORde was mercyfull vnto him ad they brought him forth and sette him without the cyte.
17 И като го изведоха вън, рече единият на Лота: Бягай за живота си; да не погледнеш назад, нито да се спреш някъде в цялата тая равнина; бягай на планината, за да не погинеш.
When they had brought them out they sayde: Saue thy lyfe and loke not behynde the nether tary thou in any place of the contre but saue thy selfe in the mountayne lest thou perisshe.
18 А Лот им рече: Ах, Господи, не така!
Than sayde Lot vnto them: Oh nay my lorde:
19 Ето, слугата ти придоби Твоето благоволение, и с опазването на живота ми, Ти правиш още по-голяма милостта, която си показал към мене; но аз не мога да побягна на планината да не би да ме постигне злато и да умра.
beholde in as moch as thy servaunte hath fownde grace in thy syghte now make thi mercy great which thou shewest vnto me in savinge my lyfe. For I can not saue my selfe in the mountayns lest some misfortune fall vpon me and I dye.
20 Гледай, моля, твоя град е близо, за да побягна там, и малък е. Нека побягна там, (не е ли малък град?) и така животът ми ще се опази.
Beholde here is a cyte by to flee vnto and it is a lytle one: let me saue my selfe therein: is it not a litle one that my soule may lyue?
21 Той му каза: Ето слушам те и за това нещо, че няма да разоря града, за който ти говори.
And he sayde to him: se I haue receaved thy request as concernynge this thynge that I will nott overthrowe this cytie for the which thou hast spoken.
22 Бързай, бягай там защото Аз не мога да сторя нищо, догде ти не стигнеш там. Затова тоя град се наименува Сигор.
Haste the ad saue thy selfe there for I can do nothynge tyll thou be come in thyder. And therfore the name of the cyte is called Zoar.
23 Слънцето изгряваше на земята, когато Лот влезе в Сигор.
And the sone was vppon the erth when Lot was entred in to Zoar.
24 Тогава Господ изля върху Содом и Гомор сяра и огън от Господа от небето.
Than the LORde rayned vpon Sodome and Gomorra brymstone and fyre from the LORde out of heaven
25 Той разори тия градове и цялата равнина, всичките жители на градовете и земните растения.
and overthrewe those cyteis and all the region and all that dwelled in the cytes and that that grewe vpon the erth.
26 Но жена му, след него, погледна назад, и стана стълб от сол.
And lots wyfe loked behynde her ad was turned in to a pillare of salte.
27 Сутринта Авраам подрани на мястото, дето беше стоял пред Господа;
Abraham rose vp early and got him to the place where he stode before the LORde
28 и погледна към Содом и Гомор и към цялата земя на равнината, и, ето видя, че дим, като дим от пещ, се издигаше от земята.
and loked toward Sodome and Gomorra and toward all the londe of that contre. And as he loked: beholde the smoke of the contre arose as it had bene the smoke of a fornace.
29 И тъй, когато Бог разоряваше градовете на тая равнина, Бог си спомни за Авраама и изпрати Лота изсред разорението, когато разори градовете, дето живееше Лот.
But yet whe God destroyed the cities of ye regio he thought a pon Abraha: and sent Lot out from the dager of the overthrowenge when he overthrewe the cyttes where Lot dwelled.
30 А Лот излезе от Сигор и живееше в планината, и с него двете му дъщери, понеже се боеше да остане в Сигор; затова живееше в една пещера, той и двете му дъщери.
And Lot departed out of Zoar and dwelled in the mountayns ad his. ij. doughters with him for he feared to tary in Zoar: he dweld therfore in a caue both he and his. ij. doughters also.
31 Тогава по-старата рече на по-младата: Баща ни е стар, и няма мъж на земята да влезе при нас, според обичая на цялата земя.
Than sayde the elder vnto the yonger oure father is olde and there are no moo men in the erth to come in vnto vs after the maner of all the world.
32 Ела, да упоим баща си с вино и да преспим с него, за да запазим потомството от баща си.
Come therfore let vs geue oure father wyne to dryncke and let vs lye with him that we may saue seed of oure father.
33 И тъй, оная нощ упоиха баща си с вино; и по-старата влезе та преспа с баща си; а той не усети, нито кога легна тя, нито кога влезе.
And they gaue their father wyne to drynke that same nyghte. And the elder doughter went and laye with her father. And he perceaued it not nether when she laye doune nether when she rose vp.
34 На другия ден по-старата рече на по-младата: Виж, миналата нощ аз преспах с баща си; да го упоим с вино и тая нощ, та влез ти и преспи с него, за да запазим потомството от баща си.
And on the morowe the elder sayde vnto the yonger: beholde yesternyghte laye I with my father. Let us geue hym wyne to drinke this nyghte also and goo thou and lye with him and let us saue seed of oure father.
35 И тъй, оная нощ упоиха баща си с вино, и по-младата влезе та преспа с него; а той не усети нито кога легна тя, нито кога стана.
And they gaue their father wyne to drincke that nyghte also. And the yonger arose and laye with him. And he perceaved it not: nether when she laye downe nether when she rose vp.
36 Така и двете лотови дъщери зачнаха от баща си.
Thus were both the doughters of lot with childe by their father
37 И по-старата роди син и го наименува Моав; той е до днес отец на моавците.
And the elder bare a sone and called hym Moab which is the father of the Moabytes vnto this daye.
38 Роди и по-младата син и го наименува Бен-ами; той е и до днес отец на амонците.
And the yonger bare a sonne and called hym Ben Ammi which is the father of the childern of Ammon vnto this daye.
