Ездра 10
1 А като се молеше Ездра и се изповядваше с плач, паднал пред Божия дом, събра се при него от Израиля едно много голямо множество мъже, жени и деца; защото людете плачеха много горчиво.
Whiles Ezra prayed thus, and confessed himselfe weeping, and falling downe before the house of God, there assembled vnto him of Israel a very great Congregation of men and women and children: for the people wept with a great lamentation.
2 Тогава Сехания, Ехииловият син, от Еламовите потомци, проговори та рече на Ездра: Ние извършихме престъпление против своя Бог, като взехме чужденки от племената на земята; все пак, обаче, сега има надежда за Израиля относно това нещо.
Then Shechaniah the sonne of Iehiel one of the sonnes of Elam answered, and sayd to Ezra, We haue trespassed against our God, and haue taken strange wiues of the people of the land, yet nowe there is hope in Israel concerning this.
3 Сега, прочее, нека направим завет с нашия Бог да напуснем всички тия жени и родените от тях, съгласно съвета на господаря ми и на ония, които треперят от заповедта на нашия Бог; и нека се постъпи според закона.
Now therfore let vs make a couenant with our God, to put away all the wiues (and such as are borne of them) according to the counsell of the Lord, and of those that feare the commandements of our God, and let it be done according to the Lawe.
4 Стани, защото това нещо на тебе принадлежи; и ние сме с тебе; бъди храбър и действувай.
Arise: for the matter belogeth vnto thee: we also wil be with thee: be of comfort and do it.
5 Тогава Ездра стана та закле началниците на свещениците, на людете и на целия Израил, че ще постъпят според това заявление. И те се заклеха.
Then arose Ezra, and caused the chiefe Priestes, the Leuites, and all Israel, to sweare that they would doe according to this worde. So they sware.
6 Тогава Ездра стана от пред Божия дом та отиде в стаята на Иоанана, Елиасивовия син; но когато стигна там, не яде хляб и не пи вода, защото тъжеше за престъплението на ония, които са били в плена.
And Ezra rose vp from before the house of God, and went into the chamber of Iohanan the sonne of Eliashib: he went euen thither, but he did eate neither bread, nor drunke water: for he mourned, because of the transgression of them of the captiuitie.
7 Сетне прогласиха по Юда и Ерусалим между всичките върнали се от плена да се съберат в Ерусалим,
And they caused a proclamation to goe throughout Iudah and Ierusalem, vnto all them of the captiuitie, that they should assemble themselues vnto Ierusalem.
8 и да бъде конфискуван целият имот на всеки, който не би дошъл за три дни според решението на началниците и старейшините, и сам той да бъде отлъчен от обществото на ония, които са били в плен.
And whosoeuer woulde not come within three dayes according to the counsel of the Princes and Elders, all his substance should be forfait, and he should be separate from the Congregation of them of the captiuitie.
9 И така, в три дни се събраха всичките Юдови и Вениаминови мъже в Ерусалим. Беше деветият месец, на двадесетия ден от месеца; и всичките люде, седейки в двора пред Божия дом, трепереха поради това нещо и от поройния дъжд.
Then all the men of Iudah and Beniamin assembled theselues vnto Ierusalem within three dayes, which was the twentieth day of the ninth moneth, and all the people sate in the streete of the house of God, trembling for this matter, and for the raine.
10 Тогава свещеник Ездра стана та им рече: Вие сте извършили престъпление, като сте взели чужденки за жени та сте увеличили виновността на Израиля.
And Ezra the Priest stoode vp, and said vnto them, Ye haue transgressed, and haue taken strange wiues, to increase the trespasse of Israel.
11 Сега, прочее, изповядайте се на Господа Бога на бащите си и изпълнете волята Му, и отлъчете се от племената на тая земя и от чужденките жени.
Now therefore giue praise vnto the Lord God of your fathers, and do his will, and separate your selues from the people of the land, and from the strange wiues.
12 Тогава цялото събрание отговаряйки рече със силен глас: Както си казал, така подобава нам да направим.
And all the Congregation answered, and sayd with a loude voyce, So will we do according to thy wordes vnto vs.
13 Людете, обаче, са много, и понеже времето е много дъждовито, не можем да стоим вън; при това, работата не е за един ден, нито за два, защото сме мнозина, които сме съгрешили в това нещо.
But the people are many, and it is a raynie weather, and we are not able to stande without, neither is it the worke of one day or two: for we are many that haue offended in this thing.
14 Затова, нека се назначат нашите първенци да надзирават тая работа за цялото общество, и в определени времена нека дохождат пред тях всички, които са взели за жени чужденки по нашите градове, и заедно с тях старейшините на всеки град, и съдиите му, догдето се върне от нас пламенният гняв на нашия Бог поради това нещо.
Let our rulers stand therefore before all the Congregation, and let all them which haue taken strange wiues in our cities, come at the time appoynted, and with them the Elders of euery citie and the Iudges thereof, til the fierce wrath of our God for this matter turne away from vs.
15 И понеже само Ионатан Асаиловият син и Яазия Текуевият син станаха да се противят с Месулам и левитина Саватай, които ги подкрепиха,
Then were appoynted Ionathan the sonne of Asah-el, and Iahaziah the sonne of Tikuah ouer this matter, and Meshullam and Shabbethai the Leuites helped them.
16 затова завърналите се от плена постъпиха така; и отделиха се от свещеник Ездра някои началници на бащини домове, според бащините си домове, всички по име; и те седнаха на първия ден от десетия месец да изследват тая работа.
And they of the captiuitie did so, and departed, euen Ezra the Priest, and the men that were chiefe fathers to the familie of their fathers by name, and sate downe in the first day of the tenth moneth to examine the matter.
17 И до първия ден от първия месец свършиха с всичките мъже, които бяха взели за жени чужденки.
And vntill the first day of the first moneth they were finishing the businesse with al the men that had taken strange wiues.
18 Между потомците на свещениците се немериха такива, които бяха взели за жени чужденки: от синовете на Исуса Иоседековият син и братята му, Маасия, Елиезер, Ярив и Годолия.
And of the sonnes of the Priests there were men founde, that had taken strange wiues, to wit, of the sonnes of Ieshua, the sonne of Iozadak, and of his brethren, Maaseiah, Aeliezer, and Iarib and Gedaliah.
19 И дадоха ръцете си в обещание, че ще напуснат жените си; и като престъпници принесоха за престъплението си овен от стадото.
And they gaue their hads, that they would put away their wiues, and they that had trespassed, gaue a ramme for their trespasse.
20 А от Емировите потомци, Ананий и Зевадия,
And of the sonnes of Immer, Honani, and Zebadiah.
21 от Харимовите потомци, Маасия, Илия, Семаия, Ехиил и Озия.
And of the sonnes of Harim, Maaseiah, and Eliiah, and Shemaiah, and Iehiel, and Vzziah.
22 От Пасхоровите потомци, Елиоинай, Маасия, Исмаил, Натанаил, Иозавад и Еласа.
And of ye sonnes of Pashur, Elioenai, Maaseiah, Ishmael, Nethaneel, Iozabad, and Elasah.
23 А от певците: Иозавад, Семей, Калаия, (който е Келита), Петаия, Юда и Елиезер.
And of the Leuites, Iozabad and Shimei, and Kelaiah, (which is Kelitah) Pethahiah, Iudah and Eliezer.
24 От певците, Елиасив; и от вратарите: Селум, Телем и Урий,
And of the singers, Eliashib. And of the porters, Shallum, and Telem, and Vri.
25 А от Израиля, от Фаросовите потомци: Рамия, Езия, Малхия, Миамин, Елеазар, Мелхия и Ванаия,
And of Israel: of the sonnes of Parosh, Ramiah, and Iesiah, and Malchiah, and Miamin, and Eleazar, and Malchiiah, and Benaiah.
26 От Еламовите потомци: Матания, Захария, Ехиил, Авдий, Еримот и Илия.
And of the sonnes of Elam, Mattaniah, Zechariah, and Iehiel, and Abdi, and Ieremoth, and Eliah.
27 От Затуевите потомци: Елиоинай, Елиасив, Матания, Еримот, Завад и Азиза.
And of the sonnes of Zattu, Elioenai, Eliashib, Mattaniah, and Ierimoth, and Zabad, and Aziza.
28 От Виваевите потомци: Иоанан, Анания, Завай и Атлай.
And of the sonnes of Bebai, Iehohanan, Hananiah, Zabbai, Athlai.
29 От Ваниевите потомци: Месулам, Малух, Адаия, Ясув, Сеал и Рамот.
And of the sonnes of Bani, Meshullam, Malluch, and Adaiah, Iashub, and Sheal, Ieramoth.
30 От Фаат-моавовите потомци; Адна, Хелал, Ванаия, Маасия, Матания, Веселеил, Вануй и Манасия.
And of the sonnes of Pahath Moab, Adna, and Chelal, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattaniah, Bezaleel, and Binnui, and Manasseh.
31 От Харимовите потомци: Елиезер, Есия, Мелхия, Семаия и Симеон.
And of the sonnes of Harim, Eliezer, Ishiiah, Malchiah, Shemaiah, Shimeon,
32 Вениамин, Малух и Самария.
Beniamin, Malluch, Shamariah.
33 От Асумовите потомци: Матенай, Матата, Завад, Елифалет, Еремай, Манасия и Семей.
Of the sonnes of Hashum, Mattenai, Mattattah, Zabad, Eliphelet, Ieremai, Manasseh, Shimei.
34 От Вениевите потомци: Мадай, Амрам и Уил.
Of the sonnes of Bani, Maadai, Amram, and Vel,
35 Ванаия, Ведеия, Хелуй,
Banaiah, Bediah, Chelluh,
36 Вания, Меримот, Елиасив,
Vaniah, Meremoth, Eliashib,
37 Матания, Матенай, Яасо,
Mattaniah, Mattenai, and Iaasau,
38 Ваний, Вануй, Семей,
And Banni, and Bennui, Shimei,
39 Селемия, Натан, Адаия,
And Shelemiah, and Nathan, and Adaiah,
40 Махнадевай, Сасай, Сарай,
Machnadebai, Shashai, Sharai,
41 Азареил, Селемия, Самария,
Azareel, and Shelemiah, Shemariah,
42 Селум, Амария и Иосиф.
Shallum, Amariah, Ioseph.
43 От Невоевите потомци: Еиил, Мататия, Завад, Зевина, Ядав, Иоил и Ванаия.
Of the sonnes of Nebo, Ieiel, Mattithiah, Zabad, Zebina, Iadau, and Ioel, Benaiah.
44 Всички тия бяха взели чужденки за жени; и някои от жените бяха им родили чада.
All these had taken strange wiues: and among them were women that had children.
