Езекил 31
1 И в единадесетата година, в третия месец, на първия ден от месеца, Господното слово дойде към мене и рече:
And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the third month, on the first of the month, that the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
2 Сине човешки, кажи на египетския цар Фараона и на множеството му: На кого си се уподобил ти във величието си?
Son of man Say unto Pharaoh king of Egypt and unto his multitude, — Whom art thou like in thy greatness?
3 Ето, асириецът бе кедър в Ливан, с хубави клонове, с дебела сянка, и с висок ръст; и върхът му бе всред гъсти клончета.
Lo! Assyria, was a cedar in Lebanon, Beautiful in bough and Dense in foliage and Lofty in stature, — and Among the clouds, came to be his top:
4 Водите го хранеха, бездната го отрастваше с реките си, които течеха около посаждението му; и изпращаше каналите си по всичките дървета на полето.
The waters made him great, the roaring deep, made him high—with its currents going round about the place where it was planted, Its channels also, it sent forth unto all the trees of the field.
5 Затова, ръстът му се издигна над всичките дървета на полето, клоновете му се умножиха, и като растеше клончетата му се разпростряха поради изобилните води.
For this cause higher, was his stature than any of the trees of the field, -And multiplied were his boughs And lengthened were his branches, By reason of the mighty waters when he shot forth shoots.
6 Всичките небесни птици правеха гнезда в клончетата му; и всичките полски животни раждаха под клоновете му; а под сянката му живееха всичките големи народи.
Among his branches, all the birds of the heavens, made their nests, And under his boughs, all the wild beasts of the field, brought forth, — And, in his shade, dwelt all the mighty nations.
7 Така бе красив по големината си и по дължината на клоновете си; защото корените му бяха при много води.
Thus became he beautiful in his greatness, In the length of his waving branches, Because his root had gone towards mighty waters.
8 Кедрите в Божията градина не можеха да го скрият; елхите не се сравняваха с клоновете му, и яровите не приличаха на клончетата му; никакво дърво в Божията градина не се сравняваше с него по красотата му.
Cedars hid him not. in the garden of God, Fir-trees were not like unto his boughs, Nor plane-trees, like his branches, —no, tree in the garden of God, was like unto him in his beauty.
9 Направих го красив с многото му клонове; тъй щото всичките едемски дървета, които бяха в Божията градина, му завиждаха.
Beautiful, I made him in the abundance of his waving branches, - Therefore was he envied by all the trees of Eden, which were in the garden of God.
10 Затова, така казва Господ Иеова: Понеже ти си се издигнал високо, и понеже си дигнал върха си между гъстите клончета, и сърцето му се надигна поради височината му,
Therefore Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, Because thou hast become lofty in stature, And he hath stretched his top among the clouds, And his heart is exalted in his loftiness.
11 затова, ще го предам в ръката на силния от народите, който непременно ще се разправи с него; изпъдих го поради нечестието му.
Let me then deliver him into the hand of the chief of the nations, He shall effectually deal with him! According to his lawlessness, have I driven him out:
12 Чужденци, страшните между народите, отсякоха го и го оставиха; клончетата му паднаха по планините и по всичките долини, и клоновете му се строшиха по всичките потоци на земята; и всичките народи на света слязоха от сянката му и го оставиха.
Therefore have foreigners the terrible of the nations cut him down. And abandoned him, — Upon the mountains and in all valleys, have fallen his waving branches And broken have been his boughs in all the river-beds of the land, And all the peoples of the earth have come down out of his shade. And abandoned him:
13 На трупа му ще си починат всичките небесни птици, и върху клоновете му ще бъдат всичките животни от полето,
Upon his trunk, shall settle down all the birds of the heavens, - And among his boughs, are to be found all the wild beasts of the field: —
14 за да не се възвиси във височината си никое от дърветата край водите, нито да издигне върха си между гъстите клончета, и за да се не надигат поради височината си, техните великани, да! всички, които се поят с вода; защото те всички са предадени на смърт, подобно на всички други човешки синове, с ония, които слизат в ямата.
To the end that none of the trees of the waters— May exalt themselves in their stature or stretch their top among the clouds, Nor their mighty ones take their stand in their height- any that drink of the waters, — Because they all, are delivered to death Unto the earth below. In the midst of the sons of Adam. Amongst them who descend into the pit.
15 Така казва Господ Иеова: В деня, когато той слезе в преизподнята причиних жалеене; покрих бездната за него, и направих да престанат реките й, така щото големите води се спряха; и направих да жалее за него Ливан, и всичките дървета на полето повяхнаха за него. (Sheol h7585)
Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, In the day when he descended into hades, I caused a mourning. I covered over him the roaring deep, And restrained the currents thereof And stayed were the mighty waters, So caused I gloom over him unto Lebanon, And all the trees of the field for him were covered with a shroud. (Sheol h7585)
16 Направих народите да потреперят при шума на падането му, когато го свалих в преизподнята с ония, които слизат в ямата; и всичките едемски дървета, отбраните и добрите ливански дървета, всичките пиещи води, се утешиха в най-дълбоките места на света. (Sheol h7585)
At the sound of his fall, I made nations tremble, When I caused him to descend into hades, with them who descend into the pit, — Then were grieved in the earth below-All the trees of Eden, The choicest and best of Lebanon All who had drunk the waters. (Sheol h7585)
17 И те и ония, които бяха негова мишца, които живееха под сянката му всред народите, слязоха в преизподнята подобно на него, при убитите от нож. (Sheol h7585)
Even they, with him descended into hades. Among them who were thrust through with the sword, - Even his seed who dwelt in his shade in the midst of the nations. (Sheol h7585)
18 На кого си се уподобил така по слава и по величие между едемските дървета? При все това, ще бъдеш свален, както всичките други едемски дървета, в най-дълбоките места на света; ще лежиш всред необрязаните, с убитите от нож. Тъй ще стане с Фараона и цялото му множество, казва Господ Иеова.
Unto whom couldst thou be likened thus, in glory and in greatness, among the trees of Eden? Yet shalt thou be caused to descend with the trees of Eden into the earth below In the midst of the uncircumcised, shalt thou lie down With them who were thrust through by the sword, the same, is Pharaoh and all his multitude, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.
