Изход 14
1 Тогава Господ говори на Моисея, казвайки:
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
2 Заповядай на израилтяните да завият и да се разположат на стан пред Пиаирот, между Мигодол и морето; срещу Веелсефон ще се разположите на стан близо до морето.
“Speak to the children of Israel [God prevails], that they turn back and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, before Baal Zephon. You shall encamp opposite it by the sea.
3 Защото Фараон ще рече за израилтяните: Те са се впримчили в земята; пустинята ги е затворила.
Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel [God prevails], ‘They are entangled in the land. The wilderness has shut them in.’
4 И Аз ще закоравя сърцето на Фараона, и той ще ги погне отдире; но Аз ще се прославя над Фараона и над цялата му войска, и египтяните ще познаят, че Аз съм Гспод. И израилтяните сториха така.
I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and he will follow after them; and I will get honor over Pharaoh, and over all his armies; and the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery] shall know that I am Adonai.” They did so.
5 А когато се извести на египетския цар, че побягнаха людете, сърцето на Фараона и на слугите му се обърна против людете, и рекоха: Какво е това що сторихме, гдето пуснахме Израиля да не ни работи вече?
The king of Egypt [Abode of slavery] was told that the people had fled; and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was changed towards the people, and they said, “What is this we have done, that we have let Israel [God prevails] go from serving us?”
6 Затова, Фараон впрегна колесницата си и събра людете си при себе си;
He prepared his chariot, and took his army with him;
7 взе шестстотин отборни колесници, дори всичките египетски колесници, с началниците над всичките.
and he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt [Abode of slavery], and captains over all them.
8 И Господ закорави сърцето на египетския цар Фараон, така че той погна отдире израилтяните. (защото израилтяните бяха излезли с издигната ръка),
Adonai hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt [Abode of slavery], and he pursued the children of Israel [God prevails]; for the children of Israel [God prevails] went out with a high hand.
9 и египтяните се спуснаха подир тях, - всичките коне и колесници на Фараона, конниците му и войската му, - и настигнаха ги разположени на стан близо до морето, пред Пиаирот, срещу Веелсефон.
The Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery] pursued them. All the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, his horsemen, and his army overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baal Zephon.
10 А когато се приближи Фараон, израилтяните подигнаха очи, и, ето, египтяните идеха подир тях; и израилтяните, твърде много уплашени, извикаха към Господа.
When Pharaoh came near, the children of Israel [God prevails] lifted up their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery] were marching after them; and they were very afraid. The children of Israel [God prevails] cried out to Adonai.
11 И рекоха на Моисея: Понеже нямаше гробища в Египет, затова ли ни изведе да измрем в пустинята? Защо постъпи така, та ни изведе от Египет?
They said to Moses [Drawn out], “Because there were no graves in Egypt [Abode of slavery], have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you treated us this way, to bring us out of Egypt [Abode of slavery]?
12 Не е ли това, каквото ти казвахме в Египет, като рекохме: Остави ни; нека работим на египтяните? Защото по-добре би било за нас да работим на египтяните, отколкото да измрем в пустинята.
Is not this the word that we spoke to you in Egypt [Abode of slavery], saying, ‘Leave us alone, that we may abad ·serve· the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery]?’ For it were better for us to abad ·serve· the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery], than that we should die in the wilderness.”
13 А Моисей каза на людете: Не бойте се; стойте и гледайте избавлението, което Господ ще извърши за вас днес; защото колкото за египтяните, които видяхте днес, няма да ги видите вече до века.
Moses [Drawn out] said to the people, “Don’t be afraid. Stand still, and see the yishu'ah ·salvation· of Adonai, which he will work for you today: for the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery] whom you have seen today, you shall never see them again.
14 Господ ще воюва за вас, а вие ще останете мирни.
Adonai will fight for you, and you shall be still.”
15 Тогава рече Господ на Моисея: Защо викаш към Мене? Кажи на израилтяните да вървят напред.
Adonai said to Moses [Drawn out], “Why do you cry to me? Speak to the children of Israel [God prevails], that they go forward.
16 А ти дигни жезъла си над морето та го раздели, и израилтяните ще преминат през морето по сухо.
Lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel [God prevails] shall go into the middle of the sea on dry ground.
17 И Аз, ето, ще закоравя сърцето на египтяните, та ще влязат подир тях; и ще се прославя над Фараона, над цялата му войска, над колесниците му и над конниците му.
Behold, I myself will harden the hearts of the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery], and they shall go in after them: and I will get myself honor over Pharaoh, and over all his armies, over his chariots, and over his horsemen.
18 И когато се прославя над Фараона, над колесниците му и над конниците му, египтяните ще познаят, че Аз съм Господ.
The Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery] shall know that I am Adonai, when I have gotten myself honor over Pharaoh, over his chariots, and over his horsemen.”
19 Тогава ангелът Божий, който вървеше пред израилевото множество, се дигна та дойде отдире им; дигна се облачният стълб отпреде им та застана отдире им,
Ha mal'ak Elohim [The Angel of God], who went before the camp of Israel [God prevails], moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud moved from before them, and stood behind them.
20 и дойде между Египетското множество и Израилевото; на едните беше тъмен облак, а на другите светеше през нощта, така щото едните не се приближаваха до другите през цялата нощ.
It came between the camp of Egypt [Abode of slavery] and the camp of Israel [God prevails]; and there was the cloud and the darkness, yet gave it light by night: and one didn’t come near the other all night.
21 Моисей, прочее, простря ръката си над морето; и Господ направи да се оттегля морето цялата оная нощ от силен източен вятър та се пресуши морето и водите се разделиха.
Moses [Drawn out] stretched out his hand over the sea, and Adonai caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.
22 Така израилтяните влязоха всред морето по сухо; и водите бяха за тях преграда от дясната и от лявата им страна.
The children of Israel [God prevails] went into the middle of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand, and on their left.
23 А египтяните, всичките коне на Фараона, колесниците му и конниците му, - като ги погнаха влязоха подир тях всред морето.
The Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery] pursued, and went in after them into the middle of the sea: all of Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.
24 Но в утринната стража Господ погледна от огнения и облачния стълб на египетската войска и смути войската на египтяните;
In the morning watch, Adonai looked out on the Egyptian [person from Abode of slavery] army through the pillar of fire and of cloud, and confused the Egyptian [person from Abode of slavery] army.
25 Той извади колелата от колесниците им та те се теглеха мъчно, така щото египтяните рекоха: Да бягаме от Израиля, защото Иеова воюва за тях против египтяните.
He took off their chariot wheels, and they drove them heavily; so that the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery] said, “Let’s flee from the face of Israel [God prevails], for Adonai fights for them against the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery]!”
26 Тогава Господ рече на Моисея: Простри ръката си над морето, за да се върнат водите върху египтяните, върху колесниците им и върху конниците им.
Adonai said to Moses [Drawn out], “Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the waters may come again on the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery], on their chariots, and on their horsemen.”
27 И тъй, Моисей простря ръката си над морето; и около зори морето се върна на мястото си; а като бяха египтяните пред него, Господ изтърси египтяните всред морето.
Moses [Drawn out] stretched out his hand over the sea, and the sea teshuvah ·completely returned· to its strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery] fled against it. Adonai overthrew the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery] in the middle of the sea.
28 Защото водите се върнаха и покриха колесниците, конниците и цялата Фараонова войска, която беше влязла подир тях в морето; не остана ни един от тях.
The waters teshuvah ·completely returned·, and covered the chariots and the horsemen, even all Pharaoh’s army that went in after them into the sea. There remained not so much as one of them.
29 А израилтяните минаха през морето по сухо; и водите бяха за тях преграда от дясната и от лявата им страна.
But the children of Israel [God prevails] walked on dry land in the middle of the sea, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand, and on their left.
30 Така в оня ден Господ избави Израиля от ръката на египтяните; и Израил видя египтяните мъртви по морския бряг.
Thus Adonai saved Israel [God prevails] that day out of the hand of the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery]; and Israel [God prevails] saw the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery] dead on the seashore.
31 Израил видя онова велико дело, което Господ извърши над египтяните; и людете се убояха от Господа, и повярваха в Господа и слугата Му Моисея.
Israel [God prevails] saw the great work which Adonai did to the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery], and the people feared Adonai; and they trusted in Adonai, and in his servant Moses [Drawn out].
