Второзаконие 34
1 Тогава Моисей се възкачи на моавските полета на планината Нево, на върха Фасга, който е срещу Ерихон. И Господ му показа цялата Галаадска земя до Дан,
Therefore, Moses ascended from the plains of Moab onto Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, opposite Jericho. And the Lord revealed to him the entire land of Gilead, as far as Dan,
2 цялата Нефталимова земя, Ефремовата и Манасиева земя, и цялата Юдова земя до Западното море,
and all of Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and the entire land of Judah, even to the furthest sea,
3 южната страна, и околността на долината Ерихон, град на палми, до Сигор.
and the southern region, and the breadth of the plain of Jericho, the city of palms, as far as Zoar.
4 И Господ му каза: Тая е земята, за която съм се клел на Авраама, на Исаака и на Якова, като рекох: На твоето потомство ще я дам. Аз те направих да я видиш с очите си, но в нея няма да минеш.
And the Lord said to him: “This is the land, about which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying: I will give it to your offspring. You have seen it with your eyes, but you shall not cross over to it.”
5 И тъй, Господният слуга Моисей умря там, в Моавската земя, според казаното от Господа.
And Moses, the servant of the Lord, died in that place, in the land of Moab, by order of the Lord.
6 И Господ го погреба в долината в Моавската земя срещу Вет-фегор; а до днес никой не знае где е гробът му.
And he buried him in the valley of the land of Moab, opposite Peor. And no man knows where his sepulcher is, even to the present day.
7 Моисей беше на сто и двадесет години, когато умря; очите му не се помрачиха, нито силата му намаля.
Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eye was not dimmed, nor were his teeth displaced.
8 И израилтяните плакаха за Моисея тридесет дена в моавските полета; така се изпълниха дните на плача и жалейката за Моисея.
And the sons of Israel wept for him in the plains of Moab for thirty days. And then the days of their wailing, during which they mourned Moses, were completed.
9 А Исус Навиевият син беше пълен с мъдър дух, защото Моисей беше възложил ръцете си на него; та израилтяните го слушаха, и вършеха според както Господ беше заповядал на Моисея.
Truly, Joshua, the son of Nun, was filled with the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands upon him. And the sons of Israel were obedient to him, and they did as the Lord instructed Moses.
10 Не се издигна вече в Израиля пророк като Моисея, когото Господ познаваше лице с лице
And no other prophet rose up in Israel like Moses, one whom the Lord knew face to face,
11 относно всичките знания и чудеса, които Господ го изпрати да извърши в Египетската земя върху Фараона, върху всичките му слуги и върху цялата му земя,
one with all the signs and wonders, which he sent through him, to perform in the land of Egypt, against Pharaoh, and all his servants, and his entire land,
12 и относно всичката мощна ръка, и относно всичкия голям ужас, които Моисей прояви пред очите на целия Израил.
nor one with such a powerful hand and such great miracles as Moses did in the sight of all Israel.
