Второзаконие 24
1 Когато някой вземе жена и се ожени за нея, ако тя не придобие благоволението му, защото той намира в нея нещо грозно, тогава да й напише разводно писмо, и, като го даде в ръката й, да я изпрати из къщата си.
When a man taketh a woman, and marrieth her, then shall it be, if she find not favour in his eyes, because he hath found in her some matter of shame, that he shall write her a scroll of divorcement, and put it into her hand, and shall send her forth, out of his house.
2 А тя, като излезе из къщата му, може да иде и да се омъжи за друг мъж.
And, when she cometh forth out of his house, then may she go her way, and become another man’s.
3 Но ако я намрази и вторият мъж, та й напише разводно писмо, и като го даде в ръката й я изпрати от дома си, или ако умре вторият мъж, който я е взел за своя жена,
But if the latter husband hate her, and write her a scroll of divorcement and put it into her hand, and send her away out of his house, —or, if the latter husband die, who had taken her to him to wife,
4 то първият й мъж, който я е напуснал, не може да я вземе пак за жена, понеже е осквернена; защото това е мерзост пред Господа. Така да не направиш грях на земята, която Господ твоят Бог ти дава в наследство.
then may her first husband who sent her away not again take her to become his wife after that she hath been defiled, for that were an abomination, before Yahweh, —lest thou bring sin upon the land which Yahweh thy God is giving unto thee for an inheritance.
5 Ако някой се е оженил наскоро, да не отива на война, и нищо да се не натоваря на него; нека бъде свободен у дома си една година и нека весели жената която си е взел.
When a man taketh a new wife, he shall not go forth to war, neither shall he be charged with any business, —free, shall he be for his own house one year, and shall rejoice with his wife whom he hath taken.
6 Никой да не взема в залог мелница, нито горният й камък; защото с това той взема живот в залог.
No man shall take in pledge a handmill, or an upper millstone, —for he would be taking life, in pledge.
7 Ако се намери някой, че е откраднал човек от братята си от израилтяните, та го е направил роб или го е продал, тогава тоя крадец да умре; така да отмахнеш злото изсред себе си.
When a man is found stealing any person from among his brethren of the sons of Israel, and making merchandise of him, or selling him, then shall that thief die, so shalt thou consume the wicked thing out of thy midst.
8 Внимавай относно язвата проказа да пазиш добре и да вършиш според всичко каквото ви учат левитските свещеници; внимавайте да правите така както съм им заповядал.
Take heed, in the plague of leprosy, that thou observe diligently, and do, —according to all that the priests the Levites shall direct you, as I have commanded them, so shall ye observe to do.
9 Помни що направи Господ твоят Бог на Мариам по пътя, когато излязохте из Египет.
Remember that which Yahweh thy God did to Miriam, —by the way, as ye came forth out of Egypt.
10 Когато заемаш нещо на ближния си, да не влизаш в къщата му, за да вземеш залог за него.
When thou lendest thy neighbour a loan of anything, thou shalt not enter into his house to secure his pledge:
11 Вън да заставаш, и човекът, на когото заемаш, нека ти изнесе залога.
outside, shalt thou stand, and the man to whom thou art lending, shall bring forth unto thee his pledge outside,
12 И ако човекът е сиромах, да не лягаш да спиш със залога му при тебе.
And, if he be a poor man, thou shalt not sleep in his pledge:
13 Непременно да му върнеш залога при захождането на слънцето, за да спи той с дрехата си и да те благослови; и това ще ти се счете за правда пред Господа твоя Бог.
thou shalt, restore, to him the pledge at the going in of the sun, so shall he sleep in his own mantle, and bless thee, —and, unto thee, shall it be righteousness before Yahweh thy God.
14 Да не онеправдаваш някой наемник, беден и сиромах, бил той от братята ти или от отвътре градовете ти.
Thou shalt not oppress a hired servant that is poor and needy, —of thy brethren or of thy sojourners that are in thy land, within thy gates;
15 В същия ден му дай заплатата, преди да дойде слънцето, защото е сиромах и на нея се надява; за да не извика против тебе към Господа, и това да ти се счете за грях.
for his day, shalt thou give his hire neither shall the sun, go in upon it, for, poor, he is, and, unto it, is he lifting up his soul, —lest he cry out against thee, unto Yahweh, and it be, in thee a sin.
16 Бащите да се не умъртвяват поради чадата, нито чадата да се умъртвяват поради бащите; всеки поради собствения си грях да бъде умъртвяван.
Fathers shall not be put to death for sons, nor shall sons, be put to death for fathers, —every man, for his own sin, shall he put to death.
17 Да не изкривяваш съдбата на чужденеца, нито на сирачето, и да не вземаш дрехата на вдовицата в залог;
Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the sojourner [or] the fatherless, —neither shalt thou take in pledge the garment of a widow;
18 но да помниш, че ти си бил роб в Египет и, че Господ твоят Бог те избави от там; за това Аз ти заповядвам да вършиш това нещо.
so shalt thou remember that, a servant, becamest thou in Egypt, and that Yahweh thy God, redeemed thee, from thence, —therefore, am I commanding thee to do this thing.
19 Когато жънеш жетвата на нивите си, ако забравиш някой сноп на нивата, да се не връщаш да го вземеш; нека бъде на чужденеца, за сирачето и за вдовицата; за да те благославя Господ твоят Бог във всичките дела на ръцете ти.
When thou cuttest down thy harvest in thy field and forgettest a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not turn back to fetch it, to the sojourner, to the fatherless, and to the widow, shall it belong, —that Yahweh thy God, may bless thee, in all the Work of thy hands.
20 Когато брулиш маслините си, да не претръсваш повторно клоните; останалото нека бъде за чужденеца, за сирачето и за вдовицата.
When thou beatest thine olive-tree, thou shalt not glean after thee, —to the sojourner to the fatherless and to the widow, shall it belong,
21 Когато обираш лозето си, да се не връщаш да го пребираш; останалото нека бъде за чужденеца, за сирачето и за вдовицата.
When thou cuttest off the grapes of thy vineyard, thou shalt not go about picking after thee, —to the sojourner to the fatherless and to the widow, shall it belong:
22 Помни, че ти си бил роб в Египетската земя; за това Аз ти заповядвам да вършиш това нещо.
so shalt thou remember that a servant, becamest thou in the land of Egypt, —therefore, am I commending thee to do this thing.
