1 Цар Соломон, прочее, царуваше над целия Израил;
Now king Solomon was reigning over all of Israel.
2 и ето началниците, които той имаше: Азария, Садоковия син, свещеник;
And these were the leaders that he had: Azariah, the son of Zadok, the priest;
3 Елиореф и Ахия, синовете на Сиса, секретари; Иосафат, Ахилудовия син, летописец;
Elihoreph and Ahijah, the sons of Shisha, the scribes; Jehoshaphat, the son of Ahilud, the keeper of records;
4 Ванаия, Иодаевия син, над войската; Садок и Авиатар, свещеници;
Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada, over the army; and Zadok, and Abiathar, priests;
5 Азария, Натановия син, над надзирателите на храната; Завуд, Натановия син, главен чиновник и приятел на царя.
Azariah, the son of Nathan, over those who were assisting the king; Zabud, the son of Nathan, the priest, the friend of the king;
6 Ахисар, домоуправител; а Адонирам, Авдовия син, над набора.
and Ahishar, first ruler of the house; and Adoniram, the son of Abda, over the tribute.
7 А Соломон имаше из целия Израил дванадесет надзиратели; които доставяха храните на царя и за дома му; всеки доставяше за един месец в годината.
And Solomon had twelve commanders over all of Israel, who offered yearly provisions for the king and his house. For each was ministering the necessities, by each month of the year.
8 И ето имената им: Оровия син, надзирател в Ефремовата гора;
And these are their names: Benhur, on mount Ephraim;
9 Декеровият син, в Макас-Саавим, Ветсемес и Елон-Ветанан.
Bendeker, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and in Beth-shemesh, and in Elon, and in Beth-hanan;
10 Еседовият син, в Арувот; под него бе Сохо и цялата страна Ефер;
Benhesed, in Arubboth: his was Socoh and the entire land of Hepher;
11 Авинадавовият син, в целия Нафат-дор; той имаше за жена Соломоновата дъщеря Тафата;
Benabinadab, to whom was all of Naphath-Dor, who had Taphath, the daughter of Solomon, as wife;
12 Ваана Ахилудовият син, в Таанах и Магедон, и в целия Ветсан, който е при Церетан под Езраил, от Ветсан до Авел-меола до отвъд Иокмеам;
Baana, the son of Ahilud, who was reigning in Taanach, and Megiddo, and all of Bethshean, which is beside Zarethan and below Jezreel, from Bethshean as far as Abelmeholah, opposite Jokmeam;
13 Геверовият син, в Рамот-галаад; той имаше градовете на Яира Манасиевият син, които са в Галаад; той имаше и областта Аргов, която е във Васан, - шестдесет големи градове със стени и медни лостове;
Bengeber, in Ramoth Gilead, who had the town of Jair, the son of Manasseh, in Gilead; the same was first in the entire region of Argob, which is in Bashan, sixty great cities with walls that had bronze bars;
14 Ахинадав Иодовият син, в Маханаим;
Ahinadab, the son of Iddo, who was first in Mahanaim;
15 Ахимаас, в Нефталим; и той взе за жена Соломоновата дъщеря Васемата;
Ahimaaz, in Naphtali, and he also had Basemath, the daughter of Solomon, in marriage;
16 Ваана, Хусевият син, в Асир и в Алот;
Baana, the son of Hushai, in Asher and in Bealoth;
17 Иосафат, Фаруевият син, в Исахар;
Jehoshaphat, the son of Paruah, in Issachar;
18 Семей, Илаевият син, във Вениамин;
Shimei, the son of Ela, in Benjamin;
19 и Гевер, Уриевият син, в галаадската земя, в земята на аморейския цар Сион и на васанския цар Ог; и в тая земя той бе единственият надзирател.
Geber, the son of Uri, in the land of Gilead, in the land of Sihon, king of the Amorites, and of Og, king of Bashan, over all who were in that land.
20 Юда и Израил бяха многобройни, по множество както крайморския пясък; ядяха, пиеха и веселяха се.
Judah and Israel were innumerable, like the sand of the sea in multitude: eating and drinking, and rejoicing.
21 И Соломон владееше над всичките царства от реката Евфрат до филистимската земя и до египетската граница; и те донасяха подаръци, и бяха подчинени на Соломона през всичките дни на неговия живот.
Now Solomon had, in his dominion, all the kingdoms, from the river to the land of the Philistines, even to the border of Egypt. And they offered gifts to him, and they served him all the days of his life.
22 А продоволствието за Соломона за един ден бе тридесет кора чисто брашно и шестдесет кора друго брашно,
And the provisions of Solomon, for each day, were thirty cor of fine wheat flour, and sixty cor of meal,
23 десет угоени говеда и двадесет охранени говеда, и сто овци, освен елени, сърни, биволи и тлъсти птици.
ten fattened oxen, and twenty oxen from the pastures, and one hundred rams, aside from the venison of stags, roe deer, and gazelles, and fattened poultry.
24 Защото той владееше над цялата земя отсам реката, от Тапса дори до Газа, - над всички царе отсам реката; и той имаше мир навсякъде около себе си.
For he had obtained the entire region which was beyond the river, from Tiphsah as far as Gaza, and all the kings of those regions. And he had peace on every side all around.
25 Юда и Израил живееха безопасно, всеки под лозята си и под смоковницата си, от Дан до Вирсавее, през всичките дни на Соломона.
And so, Judah and Israel were living without any fear, each one under his own vine and under his own fig tree, from Dan as far as Beersheba, during all the days of Solomon.
26 И Соломон имаше обори за четиридесет хиляди коне за колесници.
And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of chariot horses, and twelve thousand riding horses.
27 И ония надзиратели продоволствуваха, всеки в месеца си, за цар Соломона и за всички, които дохождаха на Соломоновата трапеза; те не допускаха никаква оскъдност.
And the above-stated commanders of the king nourished these. And they also offered the necessities for the table of king Solomon, with immense diligence, each in his time.
28 Още ечемик и слама за конете и бързоногите коне донасяха на мястото, гдето бяха, всеки според както му беше определено.
Also, they brought barley and straw for the horses and beasts of burden, to the place where the king was, just as it was appointed to them.
29 И Бог даде на Соломона твърде много мъдрост и разум, и душевен простор, като крайморския пясък.
And God gave wisdom to Solomon, and an exceedingly great prudence, and a spacious heart, like the sand which is on the shore of the sea.
30 Така Соломоновата мъдрост надмина мъдростта на всичките източни жители и цялата египетска мъдрост;
And the wisdom of Solomon surpassed the wisdom of all the East, and of the Egyptians.
31 защото беше по-мъдър от всичките човеци, - от езраеца Етан, и от Емана, Халкола и Дарда, синовете на Маола; и името му се прочу между всичките околни народи.
And he was wiser than all men: wiser than Ethan, the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Calcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol. And he was renowned in all the nations on every side.
32 Той изрече три хиляди поговорки; а песните му бяха хиляда и пет на брой.
Solomon also spoke three thousand parables. And his verses were one thousand and five.
33 Той говори за дърветата, от ливанския кедър дори до исопа, който никне из стената; говори още за животните, за птиците, за пълзящите и за рибите.
And he discoursed about trees, from the cedar which is in Lebanon, to the hyssop which grows out from the wall. And he explained about beasts, and birds, and reptiles, and fish.
34 И от всичките народи, и от всичките царе на света, които бяха чули за мъдростта на Соломона, дохождаха да слушат неговата мъдрост.
And they came from all the peoples in order to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and from all the kings of the earth, who were hearing about his wisdom.
