1 Летописи 18
1 След това Давид порази филистимците и ги покори, и отне Гет и селата му от ръката на филистимците.
And it was after thus and he struck down David [the] Philistines and he subdued them and he took Gath and daughters its from [the] hand of [the] Philistines.
2 Порази и моавците; и моавците станаха Давидови слуги и плащаха данък.
And he struck down Moab and they became Moab subjects of David bearers of tribute.
3 Давид още порази совския цар Ададезер в Емат, като последният отиваше да утвърди властта си на реката Евфрат.
And he struck down David Hadadezer [the] king of Zobah Hamath towards when went he to establish monument his at [the] river of Euphrates.
4 Давид му отне хиляда колесници, седем хиляди конници и двадесет хиляди пешаци и Давид пресече жилите на всичките колеснични коне, само че запази от тях за сто колесници.
And he captured David from him one thousand chariot[s] and seven thousand horsemen and twenty thousand man on foot and he hamstrung David all the chariotry and he left of it one hundred chariot[s].
5 И когато дамаските сирийци дойдоха за да помогнат на совския цар Ададезер, Давид порази от сирийците двадесет и две хиляди мъже.
And it came Aram Damascus to help Hadadezer [the] king of Zobah and he struck down David in Aram twenty and two thousand man.
6 Тогава Давид постави гарнизон в дамаска Сирия; и сирийците станаха Давидови слуги и плащаха данък. И Господ запазваше Давида където и да отиваше.
And he put David in Aram Damascus and it became Aram of David subjects bearers of tribute and he gave victory Yahweh to David in every where he went.
7 И Давид взе златните щитове, които бяха върху слугите на Ададезера, та ги донесе в Ерусалим.
And he took David [the] shields of gold which they were on [the] servants of Hadadezer and he brought them Jerusalem.
8 И от Тиват и от Хун, Ададезериви градове, Давид взе твърде много мед, от която Соломон направи медното море, стълбовете и медните съдове.
And from Tibhath and from Kun [the] cities of Hadadezer he took David bronze much very with it - he made Solomon [the] sea of bronze and the pillars and [the] articles of bronze.
9 А ематският цар Той, когато чу, че Давид порази всичката сила на совския цар Ададезер,
And he heard Tou [the] king of Hamath that he had struck down David all [the] army of Hadadezer [the] king of Zobah.
10 прати сина си Адорам при цар Давида за да го поздрави и да го благослови понеже се бил против Ададезера и го поразил, защото Ададезер често воюваше против Тоя. И Адорам донесе със себе си всякакви златни, сребърни и медни съдове;
And he sent Hadoram son his to the king David (to ask *Q(k)*) of him to welfare and to bless him on that he had fought against Hadadezer and he had defeated him for man of wars of Tou he was Hadadezer and all articles of gold and silver and bronze.
11 па и тях цар Давид посвети на Господа, заедно със среброто и златото, което беше отнел от всичките народи, от Едом, от Моав, от амонците, от филистимците и от Амалика.
Also them he consecrated the king David to Yahweh with the silver and the gold which he had taken away from all the nations from Edom and from Moab and from [the] people of Ammon and from [the] Philistines and from Amalek.
12 При това, Ависей, Саруиният син, порази осемнадесет хиляди едомци в долината на солта.
And Abishai [the] son of Zeruiah he struck down Edom in [the] Valley of Salt eight-teen thousand.
13 И постави гарнизони в Едом, и всичките едомци се подчиниха на Давида. И Господ запазваше Давида където и да отиваше.
And he put in Edom garrisons and they became all Edom subjects of David and he gave victory to Yahweh David in every where he went.
14 Така Давид царува над целия Израил, и съдеше всичките си люде и им раздаваше правда.
And he reigned David over all Israel and he was doing justice and righteousness for all people his.
15 А Иоав, Саруиният син беше над войската; а Иосафат, Ахилудовият син, летописец;
And Joab [the] son of Zeruiah [was] over the army and Jehoshaphat [the] son of Ahilud [was the] recorder.
16 а Садок, Ахитововият син и Авимелех, Авиатаровият син, свещеници; а Суса, секретар;
And Zadok [the] son of Ahitub and Abimelech [the] son of Abiathar [were] priests and Shavsha [was the] scribe.
17 а Ванаия, Иодаевият син, беше над херетците и фелетците; а Давидовите синове бяха първенци около царя.
And Benaiah [the] son of Jehoiada [was] over the Kerethite[s] and the Pelethite[s] and [the] sons of David [were] the first to [the] side of the king.
