Adam, Seth, Enos,

2 Каинан, Маалалеил, Яред,

Cainan, Mahalalel, Jared,

3 Енох, Матусал, Ламех,

Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech,

4 Ное, Сим, Хам и Яфет.

Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

5 Яфетови синове: Гомер, Магог, Мадай, Яван, Тувал, Мосох, и Тирас;

The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, Tubal, Meshech, Tiras.

6 а Гомерови синове: Асханаз, Дифат, и Тогарма;

And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

7 а Яванови синове: Елиса, Тарсис, Китим и Родамим.

And the sons of Javan: Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim and Rodanim.

8 Хамови синове: Хус, Мицраим, Фут и Ханаан;

The sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, and Put, and Canaan.

9 а Хусови синове: Сева, Евила, Савта, Раама и Савтека; а Раамови синове: Шева и Дедан.

And the sons of Cush: Seba, and Havilah, Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabteca. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dadan.

10 И Хус роди Нимрода; той пръв стана силен на земята;

Then Cush conceived Nimrod, and he began to be powerful upon the earth.

11 а Мицраим роди лудимите, анамимите, леавимите, нафтухимите,

Truly, Mizraim conceived Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,

12 патрусимите, каслухимите (от които произлязоха филистимците), и кафторимите;

as well as Pathrusim and Casluhim: from these the Philistines and the Caphtorim went forth.

13 а Ханаан роди първородния си Сидон и Хета,

Truly, Canaan conceived Sidon, his firstborn, as well as the Hittite,

14 и евусейците, аморейците, гергесейците,

and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,

15 евейците, арукейците, асенейците,

and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

16 арвадците, цемарейците и аматейците.

and also the Arvadian, and the Samarite, and the Hamathite.

17 Симови синове: Елам, Асур, Арфаксад, Луд и Арам; а Арамови синове: Уз, Ул, Гетер и Мосох

The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.

18 а Арфаксад роди Сала, а Сала роди Евера.

Then Arphaxad conceived Shelah, who also himself conceived Eber.

19 И на Евера се родиха два сина: името на единия бе Фалек, защото в неговите дни се разпредели земята; а името на брата му бе Иоктан.

And to Eber were born two sons. The name of one was Peleg, because in his days the earth was divided. And the name of his brother was Joktan.

20 А Иоктан роди Алмодада Шалефа, Хацармавета, Яраха,

Then Joktan conceived Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

21 Адорама, Узала, Дикла,

as well as Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,

22 Гевала, Авимаила, Шева,

and then Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba, indeed

23 Офира, Евила, и Иовава; всички тия бяха Иоктанови синове,

also Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these are the sons of Joktan.

24 Сим, Арфаксад, Сала,

Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,

25 Евер, Фалек, Рагав,

Eber, Peleg, Reu,

26 Серух, Нахор, Тара,

Serug, Nahor, Terah,

27 Аврам, който е Авраам,

Abram, the same is Abraham.

28 А Авраамови синове: Исаак и Исмаил.

And the sons of Abraham: Isaac and Ishmael.

29 Ето техните поколения: първородният на Исмаила, Наваиот; после Кидар, Адвеил, Мавсам,

And these are their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth, and then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,

30 Масма, Дума, Маса, Адад, Тема,

and Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,

31 Етур, Нафис и Кедма; тия бяха Исмаиловите синове.

Jetur, Naphish, Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.

32 А Ето синовете на Авраамовата наложница Хетура: тя роди Земрана, Иоксана, Мадана, Мадиама, Есвока и Шуаха; а Иоксанови синове: Шева и Дедан;

And the sons of Keturah, the concubine of Abraham, whom she conceived: Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan. And the sons of Dedan: Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim.

33 а Мадиамови синове: Гефа, Ефер, Енох, Авида и Елдага; всички тия бяха потомци на Хетура.

And the sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these are the sons of Keturah.

34 И Авраам роди Исаака: а Исааковите синове бяха Исав и Израил,

Now Abraham conceived Isaac, whose sons were Esau and Israel.

35 Исавови синове: Елифаз, Рагуил, Еус, Еглом и Корей;

The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.

36 а Елифазови синове: Теман, Омар, Сефи, Готом, Кенез, Тамна и Амалик;

The sons of Eliphaz: Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, Kenez, and by Timna, Amalek.

37 Рагуилови синове: Нахат, Зара, Сама и Миза.

The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, Mizzah.

38 А Сиирови синове: Лотан, Совал, Севегон, Ана, Дисон, Асар и Дисан;

The sons of Seir: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, Dishan.

39 а Лотови синове: Хори и Омам

The sons of Lotan: Hori, Heman. Now the sister of Lotan was Timna.

40 Совалови синове: Алиан, Манахат, Гевал, Сефи и Онам; а Севегонови синове: Ана и Ана:

The sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. The sons of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah. The sons of Anah: Dishon.

41 Анов син, Дисон; а Дисонови синове: Амадан, Асван, Итрам и Харан;

The sons of Dishon: Hamran, and Esheban, and Ithran, and Cheran.

42 Асарови синове: Валаан Заван и Акан; Дисанови синове: Уз и Аран.

The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, and Akan. The sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.

43 А ето царете, които царуваха в едомската земя, преди да се възцари цар над израилтяните: Вела Веоровият син; и името на града му бе Денава.

Now these are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom, before there was a king over the sons of Israel: Bela, the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

44 А като умря Вела, вместо него се възцари Иовав, Заровият син, от Восора.

Then Bela died, and Jobab, the son of Zerah, from Bozrah, reigned in his place.

45 А като умря Иовав, вместо него се възцари Хусам, от земята на теманците.

And when Jobab also had died, Husham, from the land of the Temanites, reigned in his place.

46 А като умря Хусам, вместо него се възцари Адад Вададовият син, който порази мадиамците на моавското поле; и името на града му бе Авит.

Then Husham also passed away, and Hadad, the son of Bedad, reigned in his place. And he struck the Midianites in the land of Moab. The name of his city was Avith.

47 А като умря Адад, възцари се Самла, от Масрека.

And when Hadad also had died, Samlah from Masrekah reigned in his place.

48 А като умря Самла, вместо него се възцари Саул, от Роовот при Евфрат

Then Samlah also died, and Shaul from Rehoboth, which is situated beside a river, reigned in his place.

49 А като умря Саул, вместо него се възцари Вааланан, Аховоровият син.

Shaul also having died, Baal-hanan, the son of Achbor, reigned in his place.

50 А като умря Вааланан, вместо него се възцари Адад; и името на града му бе Пау, а името на жена му Метавеил, дъщеря на Метреда, Мезаавова внука.

Then he too died, and Hadar reigned in his place. And the name of his city was Pau. And his wife was called Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

51 А като умря Адад, едомските първенци бяха: първенец Тамна, първенец Алия, първенец Етет,

And Hadar having died, there began to be commanders in Edom in place of kings: commander Thamna, commander Alvah, commander Jetheth,

52 първенец Оливема, първенец Ила, първенец Финон,

commander Oholibamah, commander Elah, commander Pinon,

53 първенец Кенез, първенец Теман, първенец Мивсар,

commander Kanez, commander Teman, commander Mibzar,

54 първенец Магедиил и първенец Ирам. Тия бяха едомските първенци.

commander Magdiel, commander Iram. These are the commanders of Edom.
