< Romawa 6 >

1 Zizan ki tre ngye? Kita lah tre chachuu ni du ndindi kagon?
What then shall we say? Shall we continue to abound in sin, in order that grace may come to abound?
2 Ana taba ti naki na. Ba ti ni he da tre ndi kita wa ki kwu nimi lah tre, kita cigaba sun nimi ma?
No indeed; how shall we who have died to sin still go on living in it any longer?
3 Bina toh ndi bi wa ba ngla ba nimi Almasihu Yesu ba ngla ba hra nimi kwu ma na?
For do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Jesus Christ, have been baptized into his death?
4 Ba rju ta ni'u, na ngla nimi kwu ma. Nakima ahe na Almasihu a lunde ni be nimi ninkon Iti Ma. Nakima i kita me ki zren nimi rayuwa i sa'a ma.
We have been buried together with him, then, through baptism into his death, in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so also we should live in a newness of life.
5 Naki inde ki si he ni'u nimi kamani ikwu ma, i ki sun ni'u har ni kamani lunde ma.
For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, so we shall also be united with him in the likeness of his resurrection.
6 Naki a ki toh ndi ba kpa u ni kunkro, ichiche ndji u mbu i ni'u ma don duba wu kpa u lahtre. Wa i ahe don kina ta hi nimi bautar lahtre.
For this we know, that our old self was crucified with Christ, in order that the slave of sin might be destroyed; so that we should no longer be in slavery to sin -
7 Duk wa a kwu ba you ni matayin nitu ndindi nitu lahtre.
for he who is dead is set free from sin.
8 Naki ki kwu ni Almasihu ndi kpa njanji, iki sun ni wu
Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him;
9 Ki he ni toh ndi ba nzu Almasihu rju ni be, nakima ana lah ikub ngana, ikwu na he ni gbengblen nitu na.
knowing that Christ, being raised from the dead, dies no more; death has no more dominion over him.
10 Na ikwu wa a ti ni lahtre, ati kpu riri nitu wawuu. Nzren wa asi zren, asi zren niIrji.
For the death that he died, he died unto sin once for all; but the life that he lives he is living unto God.
11 Nakima bi yi me, bika bah tumbi ni matsayin bi kwu ni lahtre, aman bi wa ba he vri ni Irji ni mi Almasihu Yesu.
Even so count yourselves also to be dead unto sin, but alive unto God in Christ Jesus.
12 Naki bika na no lahtre gbengblen ni mi kpambi na har ndi woh tre ni sun kpa.
Therefore let not sin rule as king in your mortal body, compelling you to obey its lusts.
13 Na vu gham kpa mbi no lahtre nitu ikpi u du wa njanji na he na. Naki bika no Irji tumbi ni vri ni kwu. Bika vu ngham kpambi no Irji nitu ikpi du u njanji.
Do not continue to present any part of your body to sin to be used as a weapon of unrighteousness. On the contrary, be presenting yourselves to God, as alive from the dead, and the various parts of your bodies to be used as weapons of righteousness.
14 Na no lahtre nkon ni tumbi na, bina he nimi doka na, naki nimi ndindi bi he.
For sin shall not lord it over you; for you are not under the rule of law, but under the rule of grace.
15 To se ngyeh kika ti lahtre don kina he nimi doka na, ama ni ndindi, ana taba he naki na.
What then? Shall we commit an act of sin because we are not under law, but under grace? Certainly not.
16 Bina toh ndi bi ban tumbi no nitu igran, ni wu bi gran? Wa i ahi najinji, inde bi gran ni lahtre, wa ani nji yi hi ni kwu, ko naki igran ni wo tre ni nji hi ni ndindi.
Do you not know that when you surrender yourselves as slaves to any one to obey him, you are his slaves whom you obey; whether it be sin, whose end is death, or obedience, whose end is righteousness?
17 Naki ma ingyiri a he ni Irji, don ni sen bina gran lahtre, ama bi yi biyaya nimi suron mbi irin koh koyarwa wa ba noyi.
But God be thanked that you who were once the slaves of sin have obeyed from your hearts that type of teaching to which you were appointed;
18 Ba kpa yi chuwo ni mi bautar lahtre, nda kma yi ti gran bi ndindi.
and being set free from sin, you became the slaves of righteousness -
19 Misi tre ni yi na ndji wa a ku nyere ni nanma kpa ni yin. Na yadda bika ban nghan kpambi ga ti rji na bi meme du, nakima zizan bika ban ngham kpambi ni tu gran ndindi.
I speak in these homely figures because of the weakness of your fleshly nature - just as you once surrendered your faculties into slavery to impurity and to all lawlessness, so now you must surrender your faculties into slavery to righteousness, unto deeds of holiness.
20 Naki ma itoh wa bi hi gran lahtre, bi yi wa ba kpa yi chuwo ni ndindi.
For when you were the slaves of sin, you were under no subjection to righteousness.
21 Ni toh kima ahi amfani ngye bi samu nitu ndu wa zizan'a bi si klu shan ba? Nakima sakamaki bi ya indu hi kwu.
What harvest-fruit then had you at that time in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.
22 Naki zizan wa ba kpa yi chuwo ni lahtre, nda kma yi ti gran Irji, amfani ma, wawu hi tsarkakewar mbi. Sakamanko ki hi ivri u se kakle. (aiōnios g166)
But now that you have been set free from sin and become slaves of God, the harvest-fruit which you are reaping tends to produce holiness, and it ends is life eternal. (aiōnios g166)
23 Nakima sakamako lahtre hi kwu, ama kyauta Irji ahi ivri u se kakle nimi Almasihu Yesu. (aiōnios g166)
FOR THE POOR WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH, BUT THE FREE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS, OUR MASTER. (aiōnios g166)
