1 Hi ni malakon Ikilisiya waahe Sardisu wai biyi mba tre wa agji ruhohi tagban itre uwa a nji brji tangban u Rji ni tsintsen tangban wu Rji nitsitse tagban miton gpi wa wu si tie wu tie nde wu ndidima u na ton ndi wu ikgbuna.
AND to the angel of the church in Sardis write, These things saith he that hath the seven spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, and that thou hast a name, as though thou wert alive, yet art dead.
2 Lu shume ndi krigbagba igpi wa adun atie whiwhir ikwu, mina ndu ndidima ni shishi Rjina.
Be vigilant and strengthen the things which remain, which are ready to die; for I have not found thy works complete before God.
3 A he na kyi u kyrimrenton, ni igpi wa wu kpa ndi wu'a, kpa nyeme ni mba, ndi mle ti tashgbe, mi ye na nde iybi; hina to tien miyena.
Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and observe, and repent. If then thou art not found watching, I will come upon thee as a thief, and thou shalt in no wise know at what hour I will come upon thee.
4 Bihe ni de nda time hi sardisu wa mba na kpa no glo kykle mba ti ndidi.
Thou hast a few names even in Sardis, which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white robes, for they are worthy.
5 Nde wa akwaibi mba sran glo kykle diwu, mba tse nde ma ni nuwu u Rji na, mi dugbu nde ma ni shishi temu ni shishi malaikansa.
He that overcometh, this man shall be clothed in white robes; and I will in no wise blot his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
6 Uwa a he wo igpe wa ruhu si la rii ikilisiyoyi.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
7 Hi ni malaikan ikilisiyar wa'a he ni Filaldefiy ha, biyi mba tre wa nde ndidi nde gyegyere wa agji makule Dauda; wa ani bwu idiori naiya kawuna, nde akwawuu mba nde waani bwu.
And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, These things saith the Holy One, he that is true, who hath the key of David, who openeth, and none shutteth, and shutteth, and no man openeth.
8 Mito ipi wa wu tsi tie, ya mi bri kontra ni biwu ni shishi wa indiori atiyin, akri gbagba ni tremu wuna kyme ni indemuna
I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it; because thou hast but little strength, yet hast thou kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
9 Ya biwa mba he ni kon iblisi wa mba tre ndi mbamba mba Yahudawa, ana he nakyi na mba si tie che. mbaye nda wukwu gbrju ni zamen, mbato ndi ni son.
Behold, I give thee out of Satan’s synagogue those who say they are Jews, yet they are not, but do lie. Lo! I will make them that they shall come and prostrate themselves at thy feet, and they shall know that I have loved thee.
10 Wa wu kri gbagba ni tre mu, ndi wu kon mila ni wua ime me mi kri ni wu ni to treme wa niye nde bi gbugblu wawu wa mba tsre nde gbugblu nepemen.
Because thou hast keep the word of my patience, I also will preserve thee from the hour of temptation, which is coming upon the whole habitable globe to try the dwellers upon earth.
11 Miye gbagbla me gji gpi wawu hewu gbagban ndi nderi mba takyamen a (Rawani)
Behold, I come quickly: hold fast that thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
12 Me yo nde wa akwuii ani hena igji kon Rji mu mina bri nde kyi ndi rju niwo muna.
He that overcometh, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall never more go out from thence: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God, and my own new name.
13 Mi ha nde Rji mi ni tuma nde gbu Rjimu (Urushalima isama, waagrji rji ni shulu ni Rji mbu), ni nde sa'ama. Wa ahe nitu ndi wo igri wa ruhu sa la ni Ikilisiyoyi.
He that hath an ear to hear, let him ear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
14 Hi ni malaikan ikilisiyar wa ahe ni Lawudikiya Ra: biyi mba tre wa aheme (Amin). Wa kysi iya niwa latre jagji wa ni ya nde wa Irji te mba.
And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the origin of the creation of God;
15 Mi to gpi wa isi te wuna sina telu.
I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot:
16 Iwu uhe ni kon ha una telu uwoma ysina mi dru yoga ni nyumu.
I wish thou wert cold or hot. So because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit thee out of my mouth:
17 Wu tre, ime mi ha ni kon ni gpi gbugba'u, mina son gpi gana wu na to nde wu iyama igpi yin nde iyan nde ifyeshi wu tsre gpre.
because thou sayest, I am rich, and wallow in wealth, and have no want unsupplied; yet thou knowest not that thou art wretched, and pitiable, and poor, and blind, and naked.
18 Wu tre mu, le zinariya nime wa mba nza nilu wa ii he kongyen wa wu tsron gbi bin gpan wa mba to ni gpirena, ni nye wa tsron ni shishi wato igon niwu.
I advise thee to buy of me gold purified by the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white robes, that thou mayest be completely clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness may not appear; and anoint thine eyes with a collyrium, that thou mayest see.
19 Mi tsi nde wami son mitsron mba iko mba hu ni gbugbu. Wa he na kyi kri gbagba tie ndidi.
As many as I love, I rebuke and correct: be zealous then, and repent.
20 Yame mi kri ni kontra ndi si wru nde awo lamu nda bwu kin, mi ri ne konna, ndi ri la niwu wawu ni ri la nime.
Lo! I stand at the door, and knock: if any person hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and I will sup with him, and he with me.
21 Wa akwuchi mi nu kon ndi kuson ni me ni tun chumu, ahe nawa meme kwuchi ndi son ni timu ni tu tuchu ma.
He that overcometh, I will give to him to sit on my throne, as I also have overcome, and have sat down with my Father on his throne.
22 Iwa ahe ni tun inwo ndi gpi wa ruhu atsi la ni Ikilisiya
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
