< Revelation 12 >

1 Bato kikle kpe-u-to ni shulu iwa wa'a a ka kpama ni irjhi, ni iwha ni ndanza mba nyepli u tsintsen wlon donha nituma.
And, a great sign, appeared in heaven: a woman arrayed with the sun, and, the moon, beneath her feet, and, upon her head, a crown of twelve stars;
2 A he ni nne, nda sia yi ngrji, gbran yi wu grji vren.
and she was with child, and crieth out, being in pangs and in anguish to bring forth?
3 Niki mi lato kpe-u-to ni shulu ya! kikle dragon sambran wa a heni tu ton mba njon wlon, ni nyepli tangban nituma.
And there appeared another sign in heaven; and lo! a great red dragon, —having seven heads and ten horns, and, upon his heads, seven diadems;
4 Inghu nama a se ba tsitse iri-ni- tra bi shulu grji hlega ye ni meme. Dragon a kri ni shishi waa yi nne ngrjia nitu anita grjhi, ani tan vivren'a.
and, his tail, draweth the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth. And, the dragon, stood before the woman who was about to bring forth, that, as soon as she should bring forth, he might devour, her child.
5 Angrjhi vren, vivren lon, wandi a ti mulki gbungblu wawuu ni ngbala karfe. Ba sran vrema kpahi ni Irjhi ni irjhi, mba hi ni kursiyi ma.
And she brought forth a son, a manchild, who was about to shepherd all the nations with a sceptre of iron; and her child was caught away unto God and unto his throne.
6 i iwa a tsutsu hi ni miji, ni bubu wa irjhi a mlaati zi niwu, nitu duba mla-u-nji wu vi 1,200.
And, the woman, fled into the desert, where she hath a place prepared of God, that, there, they should nourish her a thousand, two hundred, and sixty days.
7 Zizan iku a he ni shulu. Mikailu mba ba maleku ma ba tsi niba ngame.
And there came to be war in heaven: Michael and his messengers [going forth] to war with the dragon; and, the dragon, fought, and his messengers;
8 I dragon ana he ni gbengblen tsra wu ri na. niki bubu ana la he niwu mba maleku ma ni shulu na.
and he prevailed not, neither was place found for them, any longer, in heaven.
9 Kpache dragon-chiche iwan mba, wa ba yondi ibelis koka shetan, wa ani gyur gbungblu wawu ba hwu grjhi ye ni meme, l ba hwu ba maleku maba grji hu.
And the great dragon was cast out, —the ancient serpent, he that is called Adversary and the Satan, that deceiveth the whole habitable world, —he was cast to the earth, and his messengers, with him, were cast.
10 Mle mi wo kikle lan rhini shulu “Nizan kpachuwo mba gbegblen ma j. ni mgbrankoson Irjhi mba sarauta Kristi ba ye. Nitu ba tru wa ani tsrowo nitu mrivayiba grji, wawu wa ni nha ba ni shishi Irjhi mbu ni rhi mba chu.
And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying—Now, hath come the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ; because the accuser of our brethren hath been cast out, who was accusing them before our God day and night;
11 Ba rhiwu (nasara) ni iyi vren-tima mba ni lantre u vubla nituma, nitu bana son ki ni sisren mba nda ka tsra ni kwu.
And, they, overcame him by reason of the blood of the Lamb, and by reason of their witnessing word, and they loved not their life, even unto death.
12 Nitu kima briku, biyi shulu, baba ki nimi. I iyame meme, mba kpantrema, nitu ibelis a grji ye niyi! A shu ni meme nfu, nda to ndi a he ni nton fiime.
For this cause, be joyful, O heavens, and ye who, therein, are tabernacling. Woe! unto the earth, and the sea, because the Adversary hath come down unto you, having great wrath—knowing that, but a little season, he hath.
13 Niwa shishi dragon a bwu nitu ndi ba tru grji ye nimeme, a hu iwa wa grji vren lon a ni zu.
And, when the dragon saw that he was cast to the earth, he pursued the woman who had brought forth the manchild.
14 I banu iwa ngyu hari wu kikle nki nitu du tsutsu hini bubu wa ba mlati zi wu ni mijia. Ni bubu yi yii ba mlaunji wu nton, nton gbugbuwu, mba ngbala nton ri gbangban ni shishi iwan a.
And there were given unto the woman the two wings of the great eagle, that she might fly into the desert, into her place, —where she is nourished, a season and seasons and half a season, from the face of the serpent.
15 Iwan a bwama rhini nyu ma too inne nitu ndi du mma shu nda se iwa hi.
And the serpent cast out of his mouth, after the woman, water as a river, that he might cause her to be carried away by the stream.
16 I meme a zo iwaa. meme a bwu nyuma nda inne wa dragon a sia bwarhuni nyumaa.
And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the river which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
17 Niki dragon a vra nfu ni waa nda kuhi tiku ni mbru kpu ma, biwa ba hu gbigbi tre Irjhi nda ni nji vubla kpi nitu Yesu.
And the dragon was angered against the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed—with them who were keeping the commandments of God, and holding the witness of Jesus; —and he stood upon the sand of the sea.
