< Philippians 4 >
1 Imri vayi mu wa mi si ya kun mba insin srounmu, nipleirimu, nikon yi bi kyan kri gbangban wu Rji, bison me ni gbakpamu.
Therefore, my brothers, beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, my beloved.
2 Misi bra Afodiya, Misi bra Sintiki, he ni sroun riri ni Rji.
I exhort Euodia, and I exhort Syntyche, to think the same way in the Lord.
3 Misi bra yi, gbugba hi dumu ni yamu jagji zo imba himba. Ishaya mbamba nikon tre Rji, mbamba Kilimas bru ndi hi dun ma, biwa ide mba he na vuvu re.
Yes, I beg you also, true partner, help these women, for they laboured with me in the Good News with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.
4 He ni sisroun ni mi Rji chachu ni mi lalan he sisroun.
Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, “Rejoice!”
5 Bbri ndi wawu ndi mba to gbengble sroun me. Irji he whewhir ye.
Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Messiah Yeshua.
8 Ni klekle imri vayi, ikpe wa a jagji, igpe wa atsra kri, kpyiji wa a ndidi ma mba, igpe wa a tsitsri me, ikpyi wa mba, gpan igpe wa ni gji son nye, ikpyi wa mba tre ndidi ni tuma, nda gri he ri mri igpi bi yi wawu.
Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honourable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
9 Ikpyi bi yi wa bi to wa bi kpa wabi wo, wa bi to ni kpamu, te gpi biyi wawu. Rji wa ni nu sisroun ndi he yi wawu
Do the things which you learnt, received, heard, and saw in me, and the God of peace will be with you.
But I rejoice in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your thought for me; in which you did indeed take thought, but you lacked opportunity.
Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learnt in whatever state I am, to be content in it.
12 Mi ton kon mi son nimi ya, mito kon mi son tre ni wu, ni mito kon son ni mi Iri ni mi yogi, ni mi gbugbu'u, ni mi wa.
I know how to be humbled, and I also know how to abound. In any and all circumstances I have learnt the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need.
I can do all things through Messiah who strengthens me.
14 Ni mi nya wawu bi he ni me.
However you did well that you shared in my affliction.
15 Filibiyawa bi to tun ni mumle bi to tre Rji. iton mi bri Makidoniya Ikilisiya na zo me ni mi iyamu, imba biyi mba.
You yourselves also know, you Philippians, that in the beginning of the Good News, when I departed from Macedonia, no assembly shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving but you only.
16 Ni ton me he ni Tassalonika bi tru zo bi ni mu aza mbu ri.
For even in Thessalonica you sent once and again to my need.
17 Mi na la wayi don misi zo bina. Mi tre wayi don kwuci bi wawu
Not that I seek for the gift, but I seek for the fruit that increases to your account.
18 Mi kpa gpi biyi wawu, mihe gpi wawu.
But I have all things and abound. I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things that came from you, a sweet-smelling fragrance, an acceptable and well-pleasing sacrifice to God.
My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Messiah Yeshua.
Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever! Amen. (aiōn )
21 Chi bi hu Rji wawu ni nde Almasihu Yesu, Imri vayi wa amba he ni me mba chi yi.
Greet every holy one in Messiah Yeshua. The brothers who are with me greet you.
22 Bi hu Rji wawu mba chi yi, bi wa mba he ni kon Kaisar.
All the holy ones greet you, especially those who are of Caesar’s household.
The grace of the Lord Yeshua the Messiah be with you all. Amen.
