for in many thinges we synne all. Yf a man synne not in worde the same is a parfecte ma and able to tame all the body.
3 inde ki lo nyu nghma di du ba huta ki yah di sarafa ikkpa ba huta ki yah di surafa ikpa ba wawuu

Beholde also the shyppes which though they be so gret and are dryven of fearce windes yet are they turned about with a very smale helme whither soever the violence of the governer wyll.

and the tonge is fyre and a worlde of wyckednes. So is the tonge set amonge oure members that it defileth the whole body and setteth a fyre all that we have of nature and is it selfe set a fyre even of hell. (Geenna g1067)

All the natures of beastes and of byrdes and of serpentes and thinges of ye see are meked and tamed of the nature of man.
8 nitu leme nimi yan Adam ba wa ani ya vu ahi ihrji wa ana si na a gbugbulu u wu ndi
But the tonge can no man tame. Yt is an vntuely evyll full of deedly poyson.
9 ni leme ki gbere bachi ni ti san nikima ki lah ndi wa ba tiba ni kamani riji
Therwith blesse we God the father and therwith cursse we me which are made after the similitude of God.
10 ni mi nyu kima lulu ni lah ni rhu mrivayi ikpie bi yi bika na ti na.
Out of one mouth proceadeth blessynge and cursynge. My brethren these thinges ought not so to be.

Doth a fountayne sende forth at one place swete water and bytter also?
12 ba iya? mriyah kukron baure ana iya ti zaitu na ko ani ya? ko naki irjhu inabi anti yi baure? nakima imah u ri ana ya no imah u roma na.
Can the fygge tree my Brethren beare olive beries: other a vyne beare fygges?
13 ahi nghan hei ni hikima ni toh rii mi bi? du ndi kima tsro didi uvri ni ndu ma u hikima
So can no fountayne geve bothe salt water and fresshe also. If eny man be wyse and endued with learnynge amonge you let him shewe the workes of his good conversacio in meknes that ys coupled with wisdome.
14 aman inde bi hei ni matsanci ihwu ni meme gbrashisi ni mi suron bi bika na wur wi ni san ni ice na ni njaji
But Yf ye have bitter envyinge and stryfe in youre hertes reioyce not: nether be lyars agaynst the trueth.
15 iri hikima yi ana iri wa ani grji rji ni shu na nakima ahi u gbugbulun wa ana hei ni njaji na ahi u ibrji
This wisdome descedeth not from a boue: but is erthy and naturall and divelisshe.
16 naki duk bubu wa ihwu ni gbranshishihei niki wa nyun nihei ni kowane iri meme kpie
For where envyinge and stryfe is there is stablenes and all maner of evyll workes.
17 nakima hikma hi iri u shu, ni mumula ana tsatsra naki son si ison kamili saukiyu ahei ni loh suron kpukpo me ni gbugbu zizi wa ana die na u didi
But the wisdom that is from above is fyrst pure then peasable gentle and easy to be entreated full of mercy and good frutes without iudgynge and without simulacio:
18 naki mri didi wa ba shu ni mi son si ni mi bi wa ba shu tu ba bi
yee and the frute of rightewesnes is sowen in peace of them that mayntene peace.
