< Hebrews 6 >

1 nitu kima ki don tre u mumla u kristi ndi zren hi ko shishi mla u yindin ku na la kma hi ni tu kpatre rjia mbu u mumla wa bana gigla ndu mbani kponji ni mi rji
Wherefore let us cease to speak of the first principles of Christ, and press on unto perfection; not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
2 nda na tsro u mumla nitu batsima ka ba wo kasa tashme u wa ba khwua ni tron u kakle (aiōnios g166)
of the teaching of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. (aiōnios g166)
3 kie tie wayi ni kpanyeme rji
And this will we do, if God permit.
4 ahi kpye u dii ndu biwa bana toh kpan nda la roo u shulu too wa ba kpa isan mba u rji tsratsra
For as touching those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 nda latre ndindi u rji toh ni ngbengblen u nton uyea (aiōn g165)
and tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come, (aiōn g165)
6 u nda ye joku ana tie tu ndu ba nji baye ni nkon rji ngana
and [then] fell away, it is impossible to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
7 u meme wa ani so malu wa ani ku nitu nitu nda ni ndu ba kpyi ba ndi ni bi ron baa rju ni bawu irji ni tu lulu niwu
For the land which hath drunk the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them for whose sake it is also tilled, receiveth blessing from God:
8 u kpyi bi rju ba hi he ngban me ni tie nyu u kle ma ahi gon lu
but if it beareth thorns and thistles, it is rejected and nigh unto a curse; whose end is to be burned.
9 niwa kie hla towa anita niyumbi biyi wa kie sona kie toh ndi bi tu kpyi bi kpon bi utre gbujbu
But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak:
10 u rji na wo ani tie meme na wani kama ni yu ndu mbi wa bi toh tie ndu ni bi tsratsra ba wa bi tie ye luwa me
for God is not unrighteous to forget your work and the love which ye shewed toward his name, in that ye ministered unto the saints, and still do minister.
11 kie yo scon ni ndu yiyri mbi wu ndu tsro yo sron mbi hi kle nton a ni ndu yo sron bi ndu hi ngbangban
And we desire that each one of you may shew the same diligence unto the fulness of hope even to the end:
12 ahe tokima ni ndu yi na tie sanko na ndi huza u waa nii nkon kponji ni vugble ba kpa yo nyu mba
that ye be not sluggish, but imitators of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
13 wa irji a yo nyu ni ibrahim nitu wa indjiori n a zanwu wa ani shrji niwu a na waa shirji nituma
For when God made promise to Abraham, since he could swear by none greater, he sware by himself,
14 a tre njanjimu nitie lulu niwu ndi ni nno bahbu gbugbuwu
saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.
15 nakima Ibrahim waa yogble nda gben aye kpa yo nyu ma
And thus, having patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
16 cucu indji ba shirji ni kpye wa a zan bari u shirji hi kpye wa ani zon tre wa ba hla
For men swear by the greater: and in every dispute of theirs the oath is final for confirmation.
17 niwa rji a son tsro nglelelemye ni bi son nyu ma wa ayo nyu bawu a ni tu kpye zizi wa rji tie u bana kasran na
Wherein God, being minded to shew more abundantly unto the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath:
18 a tie wa nitu kpyi ha wa bana kasran na bi tsro ndi irji nita bre tice u kita wa ki tsutsu kafe wrji u rii kie sen ngble ndi nji yo sron mbu wa asi gben taa
that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us;
19 kie he ni yo soron nawaa ahe too rai wa ba klia nda njaryi wa kimayi ni rihi nimi kogon plia
which we have as an anchor of the soul, [a hope] both sure and stedfast and entering into that which is within the veil;
20 waa ani tumbu yi yesu a guci rihi niyu wa akatie injii firist u kakle naa malkisadak (aiōn g165)
whither as a forerunner Jesus entered for us, having become a high priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. (aiōn g165)
