< Hebrews 11 >
1 zizan nyme kri bgangban nitu kpi wa wu yo sron nitu ma ni kpanyme ndi a hi janji kpiwa wurhihe u to ni shishi
NOW faith is the realizing confidence of the things hoped for, and the demonstration of things unseen:
2 nitu kima batre ndindi nitu nyme u ba baci bi sen
for thereby the ancients obtained a testimony of approbation.
3 nitu nyme kri gbangban ki mla to ndi irji a ti ngbungblu ni tre u nyuma nda du kpi wa bahe ndendeme du ba ti ba rhini kpi wa bana to ba ni shishi na (aiōn )
By faith we understand that the worlds were exactly formed by the word of God, so that the visible objects were not made out of things which now appear. (aiōn )
4 a he nitu krigbangban ni nyme u habila mba a nu irji ton ndindi wa a zan wu kainu nitu kima ba nyme nikri tsatsra ma e irji a gbresan ndindi nituma mba ton wa anua nitu krigbangban habila rhisi tre niwame a kwu ye
By faith Abel offered unto God a sacrifice of more excellence than Cain, by which he received a testimony that he was a righteous man, God bearing witness upon his gifts: and by this, though dead, he still speaketh.
5 ana nitu nyme ni gbangban u Enoch mba ba baun ndana du to kwu na bana too na nitu irji a baun niwa bane rhihr u baun hon ba hla tre ndindi nituma ndi anu irji sisron
By faith Enoch was translated, so as not to see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he was recorded to have been acceptable to God.
6 zizan hama ni nyme kri gbangban nko u nu irji se a kpanyme ndi a he nda ni han ndindi ni bi wa wawa
But without faith it is impossible to be acceptable; for he must believe, who cometh unto God, that he exists, and is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.
7 a he ni nyme kri gbangban Noah mba niwa a kpa lan tondu nitu kpiwa a rhihe u rhu tsro ni sisiri iji a me jirgi ma wa a kpa bi mikoma chuwo nitu ti kima a chon nyu gbubgblu nda kma rhukri tsatra too hpu biwa kri nitu nyme krigbangban
By faith Noah, being divinely warned respecting things not yet seen, filled with reverential awe, prepared an ark for the salvation of his household, by which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
8 a he ni tu nyme krigbangban Ibrahim mba niwa ba yoaa wo yo a nda rhuhu hi ni bubu wa ani hi kpa ti u ma a rhuhi hama ni to bubu waa sia hia
By faith Abraham, called to go forth unto a place which he should in future obtain as an heritage, obeyed; and he went forth, not knowing whither he was going.
9 ana nitu nyme kri gbangban mba a ka son ni meme u alkawali too inji wu meme kora a ta kru ni mi bru tenti baba Ishaku mba Yakubu mro vayi hpu a alkawali riri kima
By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as a foreign land, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the co-heirs of the same promise.
10 a sia yaa hi ko shishi igbu wa a he nchimema wandi ndi u tsra mba me na a hi irji
For he expected a city having foundations, of which God is the planner and architect.
11 a he nitu nyme kri gbangban saratu wa ana he ni krju ibrahim a kpa gbengblen u grji vren i wayi a he toki niwa me ana chebran a kpanyme ni tre gbangban u waa nuu alkawalia bari ba he ni mye tre nitu kaa ana nyme krigbangban ibrahim ka saratu mba basia tre tuma nitu kri gbangban saratu niwame a bhe a kpa gbengbblen u kpa vren niwane ana che bran u wrji ne vren nitu a to ndi wawu wa a nu alkawali ani kri abangban ni tu tre ma
By faith also that very Sarah, who was barren, received ability for the conception of seed, and past the usual time of life brought forth a child, because she accounted that he who promised it, would be true to his promise.
12 nikima rhini inji ri kii wandi me ana rhu na wa a mla kwuye ba grjhi ihpu gbugbuuu to tsintsen ni shulu mba u kau bla too yashi ni nyu kpantre ma
Wherefore even from one person, and he become dead in respect to these matters, there sprang a race, as the stars of heaven for multitude, and as the sand, which is on the shore of the sea, innumerable.
13 a he niyu nyme kri gbangban mba biyi ba kwu hama ni kpa alkawali ba hama nikii hu gon wa ba to nda chu rhini ni gbugban ba nyme ndi bana bi meme bako ra baba biwa ba rhuye kii ni meme na
All these died in faith, not having received the promises, but beholding them at a great distance, though believing and embracing them, and confessing that they were strangers and sojourners in the land.
14 biwa ba tre kpi biki ba rhuki ni hla ni ra ndi ba si wa ko u meme mba
Now they who speak thus, shew evidently that they are in earnest search of their native country.
15 banina si ti mren u gbu meme wa bana rhu rhia banina to nkon u kma hi
And if indeed they had fixed their minds on that from whence they had gone forth, they might have had opportunity to go back to it again.
16 to wa ahe yi ba yo sron meme wa a bizani ndi wu shulu nituki irji na klu shan u du ba yo ndi irji mba na nitu wa a mla igbu zi bawa ye
But now their longing desires are after a better country, that is, the heavenly one: wherefore God is not ashamed of them to be called their God: for he hath prepared a city for them.
17 a he ni nyme krigbangban u Ibrahim niwa ba yo ni tsra a ban Ishaku ton ana vrenma riri wa a ba ton wawu wandi ana kpa alkawaliba
By faith Abraham, when tried, offered up Isaac; and he who had received the promise, presented in sacrifice his only begotten son,
18 ana nitu ibrahim wandi ba tre nituma ndi ahi nitu ishaku mba nu nde iilipu me
unto whom it had been said, “That by Isaac shall there be a seed bearing thy name:”
19 ibrahim a ban ya ndi irji to nkon u nzu Ishaku lu rhini kwu ahe to sran tre ana rhi ni ba mba a kma kpa u ye ni kpama
reasoning that God was able to raise him up again, even from the dead; from whence also figuratively he had received him.
20 ana nitu nyme kri gbangban nitu kpi wa ba he ni shishi mba ishaku a yo lulu ni Yakubu mba isuwa
By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau with regard to future things.
21 ana nitu nyme kri gbangban mba yakubu niwa a ta kwuu a yo lulu nkan nkan ni mrli Yusufu Yakuba a gbrebre nda kri ka kpa nren nitu kpala zren ma
By faith, dying Jacob blessed each of the sons of Joseph, and bowed down in adoration upon the top of his staff.
22 ana nitu nyme kri gbangban u Yusuf niwa son kle na a ti weiweire a tre nitu lurhu mrli Isaraila rhini masar nda yo tre zibwa nitu kwukwu kpama
By faith Joseph, approaching his end, made mention of the children of Israel’s departure thence; and gave a charge respecting his bones.
23 a he nitu nyme kri gbangban mba musa niwa ba grjiu ba tima ba riuzi u wha tra nitu ba to ndi a vren wa a biya bana ti sisiri iban wa kikle uchu a yoo na
By faith Moses, after he was born, was hid three months by his parents, because they saw the child singularly beautiful; and they were not intimidated by the command of the king.
24 a he ni nyme kri gbangban wa Musa niwa a gbron ti ndi a kama du ba yondi vren wa firauna
By faith Moses, when he became a grown man, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter;
25 a chu duba tiw ya baba ndi bi irji zan wa a ni son si ri kpi ndindi ni latre u nton fii me
choosing rather to suffer afflictions with the people of God, than to have a temporary fruition of sin;
26 a mlaya ndi ishan wu hu kristi a ti nkle zan kpi biwo masar nawuu nitu a sia yo shishima ni handu wa ani kpaa
esteeming the reproach of Christ riches greater than the treasures of Egypt: for he looked earnestly to the recompence of reward.
27 a he nitu nyme kri gbangban mba Musa a don masar ana klu sisiri nfuu uchua na nituwa a vu sron na wandi a si to wa bana too ni shishi na
By faith he forsook Egypt, not intimidated by the wrath of the king: for he boldly persisted, as seeing the invisible Jehovah.
28 ana nitu nyme kri gbangban mba akri nitu hugran mba vra iyi ni du wa ani wuu ngrji bi mumlan kana sa wo ni mrli bi mumla bi israila na
By faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of the blood, that the destroyer of the first-born might not touch them.
29 ana nitu nyme kri gbangban mba ba zren zu nimi kpantre ma u reeds na nitu kuklu meme niwa bi masarba bata son zren hu toki imma mrhenba hi
By faith they passed through the Red sea, as on dry ground; which the Egyptians attempting to do were swallowed up.
30 ana nitu nyme kri gbangban mba gonkangbu Jericho a kulhe hu gon zrenmba kagoon u vi tamgban
By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after being circled round seven days.
31 ana nitu nyme kri gbangban mba Rahab wa ana ntrn ana kwu baba biwa ba ka wotre nitu a kpa pime biwa ba tonba ye ni yabi ni du ba ye ble ya gbengblen gbua
By faith Rahab the harlot perished not with those who were infidels, having received the spies in peace.
32 mila lha ngye nha? nton na tsra nimu na du mi lha nitu jiduna, baraka, shamshuna, yaftaha, dawuda, samuila, baba anabawaba
And what more shall I say: for the time would fail me if I should make a narration concerning Gideon, and Barac, and Sampson, and Jephtha, and David, and Samuel, and the prophets:
33 ana nitu nyme kri gbangban mba ba rhibiko uchu ni kuu tindu gaatre ndindi nda kpa ba alkawali na kaanyu ba chen
who by faith vanquished kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,
34 hbi gbengblen ilu nawo ni nyu njingban nda kpa si kpa rhini ba lilo nda kpa kikle gben gblen ni bubu kuu nda ri bi taku waba rhini gran ra
extinguished the force of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, they were made strong out of weakness, became mighty in battle, routed the armies of aliens.
35 imba ba kma kpa bimba wa bana kwu nitu ba tashimebari ba ti ba ya nda kamba ni kpa chuchwo nitu du ba la tashime wa abi
Women received by a resurrection their dead: but others were tortured, not accepting a release; that they might obtain a better resurrection:
36 bari ba kpaba tsra ni nkon nza ni ya grhi mba kpa tsi ni gbugban ngame mba sraka ni lo ni kotro
and others had trials of mockeries and whippings, yea and farther of chains and imprisonment:
37 ba taaba ni tita ba hanba ti ha ba wuuba ni njingban ba zren si kagon ni nta tma mba nta tawo bana ni ko ku son zuba ni fuungyungyu nda vuba tiiya chiche vnuu bibie baba bisen u greek ba tsro nha ndi ba ta ba ni tita ba han ba ti ha ba yo ba ni tsra ba wuuba ni njigban
they were stoned, they were sawn asunder, they experienced the severest trials, they were slain by the edge of the sword: they went about wrapped in skins of sheep and goats, destitute of all things, pressed down with afflictions, suffering all kind of misery;
38 gbungblu ana bi tsra ni bawu na ba sia zren ni kagon bubu ni klan meme miji baba nglu mba ni nfron tita mba nimi juju meme
of whom the world was not worthy: they wandered up and down in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens, and caverns of the earth.
39 niwa me wawumba irji a kpanyme ni ba ama nitu nyme kri gbangbanba bana kpa alkawali na
And these all though having obtained a testimony by faith, received not the promise:
40 irji a mla kpe nkan wa a bi zan nituwa nitu ndi hama nita bana kpaba ndi duba kri tsratsra na
God having provided for us something better, that without us they should not attain to perfection.
