< Galatiyawa 4 >
But I say that what time the heir is a child, he differeth not from a servant, though he be lord of all,
but is under curators and stewards until the time which his father appointeth.
3 Nakima kita me inton wa ki he mri, ba njita ni mi itre u gbungblu.
So we also, while children, under the principles of the world were subjected.
4 Naki ma da inton ati yereyere, Irji ton Vren Ma wa, iwa a ngrji wu, ingrji ni nton u tron.
But when the fulness of the time had come, Aloha sent his Son, and made from a woman, and made under the law,
5 A tie naki don du chu biwa ba he nimi tron chuwo, don ki mri ma.
that them who were under the law he might redeem, and we might receive the constitution of sons.
6 Don ki mri Irji toh Ibrji ndindi u Vren Ma ni mi suron mbu, Ibrji ndindi wa ani yo ndi Abba Bachi mbu.
And because you are sons, Aloha hath sent the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, who crieth, Father, our Father.
7 Iki sa wu wuna gran na wu u vren. Inde wu u vren, naki wu'u magaji ni Irji.
Therefore you are not servants, but sons; and if sons, heirs also of Aloha, through Jeshu Meshiha.
For, while not knowing Aloha, you served them who by their nature are not gods:
9 Ama zizan a wa bi toh Irji, i zizan Irji toh yi, a ngye sa bi lah k'ma hi ni kaidodi wa bana he ni gbengblen ni du na? Bila ni son ndi bi k'ma tie gran u mum'la?
but now that you have known Aloha, and especially that you have been acknowledged of Aloha, turn you again to those diseased and beggarly principles, and will to be subject to them afresh?
10 Bi kiyaye ivie, i hwa bi sa ni nton ni se.
Days, and months, and times, you observe.
11 Sissri ni time ni yiwu, sissri ni time na di miti ndu ni mibi u migyen.
I am afraid, lest vain in I have laboured among you.
12 Mi bre yi mri ya du yi he na ndi mi he'a, na ndi mina he na u bi'a.
Be you as I am, for I am as you are, my brethren, I beseech you. In nothing have you injured me.
For you know that in infirmity of my flesh I preached to you at the first.
14 Naki na nma kpa mu du yi ri ni tsra, bina kpa me stri na, bi na tru me yoga na. Nakima bi kpa me na Maleka Irji, na ndi me yi mi Kristi Yesu ni tuma.
And the temptation of my flesh you did not despise nor execrate; but as an angel of Aloha you received me, and as of Jeshu Meshiha.
15 Nakima zizan ingyiri mbi'a he ni ntsen? Don mi hla ni yiwu, inde ana ni tie, bina ju w'lo shishi mbi ne.
Where then is your happiness? For I testify of you, that had it been possible, your eye you would have plucked out and given to me.
16 Mi k'ma tie wu kran yi wa mi hla njanji ni yiwu.
Have I become your adversary, because I have preached to you the truth?
17 Basi wayi, ba ni ndindi na, basi son du ba ga ta tie nkanka ni yi du yi hu ba.
They are emulous of you not for good; but they would shut you in, that you might be emulous of them.
18 Abi du yi ta yo suron ni kpi ndindi, ko mina he ni yi na.
But it is well to be emulous in good things at all time, and not only when I am with you.
19 Mri mu bi tsitsa, ni tu mbi mi he ni mi ilo u tie luma na yi ine u ngrji, se Kristi a son ni mi mbi.
My children, with whom I travail afresh until the Meshiha be formed in you,
20 Bana tre ndi mi he ni yi zizan'a, mi ni k'ma lan mu ti don mi he ni damuwa ni tu mbi.
I would be with you now, and change the sound of my voice, because I am astonished at you.
21 Bika hla ni mu, biyi wa bi yo suron mbi ye ni mi tron, bina wo kpi wa itron a tre na?
Tell me, you who are willing to be under the law, do you not hear the law?
22 Ba nha zi ndi Ibrahim a he ni mri lon hari iri a vren gran, u ri a vren iwa wa ana anihi iwa u koh.
For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, one of the bondmaid, and one of the free.
23 Ikpi u ban yah ni wa yi, ivren u iwa u gran ba ngrji ni ko u kpa, ama ivren iwa u koh a, ba ngrji u nitu chu yiwu.
But he who was of the bondmaid was born according to the flesh, and he who was of the free was by the promise.
24 Ba ya tsro ikpi bi yi ni koh nayi. Imba biyi ba he na chu yiwu hari. Chu yu rima ahi igblu sinayi. A ngrji mri na igran, wa u hi Hajaratu.
But these are parables of the two covenants: the one which was from Mount Sinai bringing forth into bondage, which is Hagar:
25 Zizan'a Hajaratu wawu hi igblu sinayi wa ahe ni Arebiya. Ahe na Wurushelima u ziza'a, don ahe ni mi gran baba mri ma.
for Hagar is Mount Sinai which is in Arabia, and answers to this Urishlem, and serves in bondage, she and her children.
But she, Urishilem the high, is the free, who is our mother.
For it is written, Be glad, O barren, who hast not borne; Exult and cry, thou who hast not travailed; Because multiplied are the sons of the desolate, More than the sons of the married wife.
28 Zizan'a mri ya na ndi Ishaku he anaki kita ki he na mri u chu yu'u.
But we, my brethren, as Ishak, are the children of promise.
29 Ni toh mu wa ba ngrji u ninkon u kpa, a ta tie u wa ngrji u ninkon u Ibrji ndindi yah, ahe naki hra zizan'a.
And as then he who was born of the flesh persecuted him who was after the Spirit, so also now.
30 Ahi gyen itre a tre? Zu igran ba ni vren ma. Don ivren gran ana ri gado ni vren wa u koh na.
But what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondmaid and her son; for the son of the bondmaid shall not inherit with the son of the free.
We therefore, my brethren, are not the children of the bondmaid, but the children of the free.
