1 Ninko Prist a tre ndi, “ikpi biyi ba janji?”
Asked then the high priest; whether (therefore *k*) these things so are?
2 Istifanus a tre ndi “mir ya ni bati, wo me'. Irjhi wu shulu a tsro kpama ni timbu Ibrahim, niwa ana he ni Mesopotamia, ri nda ka son ni Haran;

11 Ni ntukima, meme iyon a ri kagon Masar mba Canaan, ni meme ya wa a du ba timbu ba wa biri hamma.
Came then a famine upon all the (land *k*) (of Egypt *N(k)O*) and Canaan and affliction great and not were finding sustenance the fathers of us.
12 Niwa Yakubu a wo ndi wlo biri he ni Masar a ton ba timbu hi ni zrenmba wu mumla.
Having heard now Jacob [there] is (grain in Egypt *N(k)O*) he sent forth the fathers of us first,

17 Niwa nton wa shirhi a ye weiweire, shirhi wa Irjhi a ti ni Ibrahim. Indhi ba ba ki bran gbugbuwu ni masar.
Even as now was drawing near the time of the promise that (he agreed *N(K)O*) God to Abraham, increased the people and multiplied in Egypt

until that there arose king another (over Egypt *NO*) who not knew Joseph.
19 A kyurh ndhimbu nda yo ba ni gbengble du ba rhuni mir nhanha lilon mbu ni duba que.
He having dealt treacherously with the race of us he mistreated the fathers of us making [them] the infants abandon of them unto the not to be given life.
20 Ni nton kima ba ngrhi Musa, wa ka bi kpokpome ni Rji ba lura ti wua tra ni ko tima.
In that time was born Moses and he was beautiful to God; who was brought up months three in the house of the father (of him; *k*)
21 Niwa ba banwu ka zi ni ra, vrenwa Firona a ban'u ti wuma nda njiwu ti vren ma.
(When was being exposed *N(k)O*) then (he *N(k)O*) took up him the daughter of Pharaoh and brought up him for herself for a son.
22 Ba yo Musa ni bubu tsro mba, niki a mla to tsro ndindi nitu kpi kankan wu bi U bi masarawa ba, ndu ni he ma ba bi hikima.
And was instructed Moses (in *no*) all [the] wisdom of [the] Egyptians; he was now mighty in words and (in *k*) deeds (of him. *no*)
23 Niwa isema wu ngrjhi ba ti weiweire ni tso-tra-don nza (arbain), a kpre suron du zren hi ni mir vayi ma, ih'pu Isra'ila.
When then was fulfilled to him of forty years a period, it came into the mind of him to visit the brothers of him the sons of Israel.
24 A krito basi ndhi Israila ri ya'. Musa alu kpa nyu ni ndhi wa basia tiwu ya'a nda wru gu masar wuh.
And having seen a certain one being wronged he defended [him] and he did vengeance for the [one] being oppressed having struck down the Egyptian.
25 A yotrendi vayima ba mla to ndhi a hi Irjhimba ni tindu ni wu du ba bguc'bu ni womba, ama ba ka'a na mla to na.
He was supposing now to understand the brothers of him that God through [the] hand of him is giving salvation to them; but not they understood.
26 Nivi wuhama, a to ndhi harhi ba si tsi, wa ay'e gaba nda tre ndhi, 'Lilon, be mir vayi; a hi ngye du yi ni tsi kpambi?
On the and following day he appeared to those who were quarreling and (was reconciling *N(K)O*) them to peace having said: Men, brothers are (you yourselves; *k*) why why wrong one another?
27 Irimba wandi wa wuhi a kpa la ni kpanma'a, a tru yo kosan nda tre ndi “A nha banwu sa nitumbu ichu, wu ga tre nitawu?
The [one] however mistreating the neighbour pushed away him having said; Who you appointed ruler and judge over (us? *N(k)O*)

Surely not to execute me you yourself desire [the] same way you executed yesterday the Egyptian?’
29 Niwa Musa a tre yi'a, a vu tsu wru nda ka son tindi u tsir ni kasa Midian, niki a ka ngrjhi mri lon ha.
Fled then Moses at remark this and became exiled in [the] land of Midian, where he begat sons two.
30 Niwa ise tso-tsra-don-nzang ati ka hi, U malaika a tsro tuma niwu ni ngbranmiji ni kikle ngblu Sinai, ni lu ni miji.
And when were passing years forty appeared to him in the wilderness of the Mount Sinai an angel (of [the] Lord *K*) in a flame of fire of a bush.
31 Niwa Musa a to ilu'a, a ti sisir kpe wa a to ni shishima, nda lu si zren hi weiweire du ni mla ya, a kri wo ilan Baci ni tre ndi,
And Moses having seen [it] was marvelling at the vision; When is approaching then he to behold [it], there was [the] voice of [the] Lord (to him: *K*)

35 Musa yi, wa bana kamba niwu, niwa bana tre ndi, “a nha yo tituchu mba wu ga'atre nitawu'a?” a hi wawuyi wa Irjhi a ton du hi ti chu mba wu chubachuwo. Irjhi a ton wu hi zuni wo malaika wa a tsro tuma ni Musa ni miji'a.
This Moses whom they rejected having said; Who you appointed ruler and judge?’ — him [whom] God [as] (and *no*) ruler and redeemer (has sent by *N(k)O*) [the] hand of [the] angel who having appeared to him in the bush.
36 Musa njiba rhuni masra, kima a hu gon ti kpi bi wa ndhi ba kaahon to tuma, baba bi tron yani masra mba kikle ma wu Reeds, mba ni tsutsu miji niwa ba ti se tsro-tra-don-nza (arbain).
this one led out them having done wonders and signs in ([the] land of *NK(o)*) (Egypt *N(k)O*) and in [the] Red Sea and in the wilderness years forty.
37 Ahi Musa kima wa a lhani ndhi bi Israila ndi, “Irjhi ni nzu anabi ri hon yiwu rhinimi vahimbi, anabi ton me”.
This is the Moses having said to the sons of Israel; A prophet for you will raise up ([the] Lord *K*) God (of you *K(O)*) out from the brothers of you like me myself (of him you will listen to. *K*)
38 Ndhi yi yi a he niba ni tsutsu miji mba malaika wa atre niwu nitu kikle ngblu Sinai, wa ahe niba timbu, mba wa a kpa lantre wu sisren ye nota.

The tabernacle of the testimony was (among *K*) the fathers of us in the wilderness, even as had commanded the [One] speaking to Moses to make it according to the pattern that he had seen;

Having fallen then on [his] knees he cried in a voice loud; Lord, not may place to them this sin. And this having said he fell asleep.
