2 Timotawus 1

1 Shawul ndi u toh ndu Kristi ni kpa yeim Rji ni chu yu'u u dri wa ahei ni Kristi Yesu.

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus, by the will of God, sent forth to proclaim the promise of the life which is in Christ Jesus.

2 Timotawus vre u' son. Alheri jinkai sunsi rji ni Rji Timbu Kristi yesu Bachi bu

To Timothy, my beloved child; Grace mercy, and peace to you from God our Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

3 Mi grie ni Rji wa mi si hu'a rji ni ba ti mu bi sen ni mere didima na misi ri mere me ni mi bre mu ni chu ni rji.

I give thanks to God whom I worship with a pure conscience as my fathers did, when I remember you unceasingly in my prayers.

4 Naki me ta ri mere me nimah shishi me'a, me ka you suron na mi toh u' du suron mu si.

Night and day when I recall your tears I am longing to see you, that my happiness may be complete.

5 Ba time rah ni gbengbenlan suron 'u' didima wa ahei ni mi yin me niko Lois ha iyi me Afiniki, me kpayeim da ahei ni wu ngame naki.

I have been reminded of that sincere faith which is in your heart; which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice, and, I am fully persuaded, dwells in you also.

6 Ni tu kima me si hla 'u' du sur lu ni. Rji wa ahe ni wu, ni ton wa ki sa wohmbu ni wu tu'a.

For this reason let me remind you to keep ever blazing that gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

7 Irji na nota ruhu u ti sisir na; ama ahi u gbengblen ni son ni tsautawa.

For God has not given us a spirit of cowardice, but a spirit of power and of love and of self-control.

8 Na klu shan njo tre Bachi mbu na, ko ni me shawulu ni brusuna. zo me ki ti yah nitu tre ni gbengblen Rji.

Do not then be ashamed to bear witness for our Lord, nor for me, his prisoner. Nay, join with me in suffering for the gospel by the power of God.

9 Ahi Rji wawu'i kpata chuwo, da you ta ni Tsatsraka yo. A ti wa i' ana don idu bu na, ama ahi shirima mba alheri ma. A nota kpie bi yi ni Kristi Yesu riko u ton ka ye. (aiōnios g166)

He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not dealing with us according to our works, but according to his purpose and grace which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time. (aiōnios g166)

10 Naki zizan ceto Rji a shile ye Almasihu Kristi Yesu, Ahi Kristi a wawu'i aye kle ni que nda ji dri wa ana kle ni kpah ni tre'a na.

This has now been made manifest through the appearing of our Saviour Christ Jesus, who has put an end to death, and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.

11 Nakima, i baka chu me ti ndi 'u' hla tre'a ni ndi 'u' ton ndu, ni ndi u' tsro ba lftlft, ikpie bi didima ni 'u' bi sen Greek ba han. ifqa ni al'ummai. ifqa ifqa.

Of the gospel I was appointed a herald, apostle, and teacher; and that is the reason I am now undergoing these sufferings.

12 Naki ma i me mi si tiyah ni kpie bi yi, ama ishan na ti me na, don mitoh wa mi kpayiem ni wu di wur shaka hle di ni ya zi kpi'a di mi nu, du, zi ni mu harmi ivri mu'a.

But I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have fully believed, and I am thoroughly persuaded that he is able to keep what I have given him until the Day.

13 Zi misali koyeswa dindin wa 'u' woh ni me, ni gbengblen ni son wa ba hei ni mi kristi yesu.

Hold fast the pattern of sound teaching you have heard from me in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

14 Ikpie dindi wa Rji ka han ni wu, gben ni irji tsratsra wa ahei ni ta

Guard the glorious trust which has been committed to you by the aid of the Holy Spirit who makes his home in us.

15 Wu toh wai bi wa ba son ni Asia ba hi kpanmba da ka me don ni mimbo akini fijalas mba harmajanas.

You already know that all the Christians in Roman Asia forsook me, among them Phygellus and Hermogenes.

16 Du Bachi no koh Onisiforus jinkai don chachu'u ani zo me, ana ta klu shan ni sarka wa ba loh me ni'u na.

The Lord show mercy to the house hold of Onesiphorus; for many a time he refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain.

17 Ni wa ahei ni Roman, awa me sren shishi ri da toh me.

But when he came to Rome he sought for me until he found me.

18 Du Bachi no 'u' jinkai nda ka zou ni vi kima. ko ani tan a si zo me ni Afisa, wu me u toh sosai.

The Lord grant him to find mercy form the Lord in that Day! And you know better than I how many services he rendered in Ephesus.
