1 ziza me hhan vuvue ni yi wu be suhmu i wayi a hi hhan vuvumu u hari me soh ti yi kade chu yi ni immere u njaaji du yi ka de che yi ni immere u njaaji

This now, beloved, [is the] second to you I am writing letter, in which I am stirring up of you in putting [you] in remembrance pure mind

2 du yi tika illan tere annabawa tsratsra wa bs hla ni bau ni mummla ni kpakyeme irji bu ni wa kpeta chuwo ni tu mazanibua

remembering the spoken beforehand declarations — by the holy prophets and of the apostles (of you *N(K)O*) commandment of the Lord and Savior;

3 be itoh ni mummla mba hla de bi zah di mba ye ni toh u kaikle mba ta zayi nda kakpi u sonkpa mba yo koshi shi mba

this first knowing that they will come in ([these] last *N(k)O*) of the days (with scoffing *NO*) scoffers according to [their] own evil desires of them following

4 mba tere kwmaye ma ahe tse wa mba tere a ni kwmye? ni toh wa mba tibu be sisemu mba qhu ikpiomba he wawu na u mummla na wa mbati mba

and saying; Where is the promise of the coming of Him? From [the time] that for the fathers fell asleep, all things as they were continue from [the] beginning of creation.

5 ni nayeh mba tere mba kparisu de shulu ni meme mba na he ni mima tu ni sisemu ni kpa kyeme u irji

It is concealed from indeed them this willingly that heavens were existing long ago and [the] earth out of water and through water having been composed by the of God word,

6 ni toh khima ikpi be gbugblu mba kaba su ni gbugbu ima u tsufana

through ([means of] those [waters] *NK(O)*) the at that time world with water having been deluged perished.

7 ni meme u ziz a ti mba zi si gbi ilu ni kpakyeme khi ma mba ti baki ni gbe ivi u bla tre ni ni kasu ni be wa bana hhu iko na

But now [the] heavens and the earth by the (same *NK(O)*) word stored up they are for fire being kept unto [the] day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

8 na kparisu wayi na be sonmu ivi iri ni trji a he na ise dubd ni irji isei dubu a he na ivi riri mba he naki

[This] one however thing not should be hidden from you, beloved, that one day with [the] Lord [is] like a thousand years and a thousand years like day one.

9 irji na kaci ni yo nyun ma na wa beri mba mba ya kaci ni tu kima ani vu sonro ni yi ana sondu ko riri bi du kasuna ani yi toh du yiye kpa ti njaaji.

Not does delay (the *k*) Lord the promise, as some slowness esteem; but is patient toward (you *N(K)O*) not willing [for] any to perish but all to repentance to come.

10 na ki ivi u ye irji ani ye na idi u yibi ishulu ni kasu ni gudjur u gbagba ilu ni gon ikpi u gbugblu wa mba he ni mima mba djur ni rah

Will come however (the *k*) day of [the] Lord like a thief (in [the] night *K*) in which the heavens with a roar will pass away, elements then burning with heat (it will be dissolved, *N(k)O*) and [the] earth and the in it works (not *O*) (will be exposed. *N(K)O*)

11 tu de ikpi beyi mba kasu na ki bebe idi mba ki a mla de khi he naki? amka de khi sonson u tsara tsran hwu.

When these things (in this way *N(K)O*) all being dissolved what kind ought to be you In holy conduct and in godliness

12 son ni yo isorobi de irji a ni ye gbagbla ni vikima mba kaa shulussu ni ilu naki koge ni koge i shan ni huu lu u varvara me

expecting and hastening the coming of the of God day, through which [the] heavens being set on fire will be dissolved and [the] elements burning with heat are melting?

13 naki ni tu yo nyuma khi gbi shulu isama ni gbublu isama wa didimani he ni mima

New however heavens and earth a new according to the promise of Him we are awaiting, in which righteousness dwells.

14 nakima be sonmu tude be yo sonro ni kpi beyi be ti ni gbegble be du mba na toye ni tsi chudu ni dhi na ko ni kpi meme ma na ni koshshi mai du mba toyi ni mi si sonro

Therefore, beloved, these things expecting do be diligent without spot and without blemish by Him to be found in peace,

15 na ki be ka vu sonro irji a he u kpachu yi na wa Bulus isironro vayi bu a hanatawu ni toh ma wa mba noa

And the of the Lord of us patience [as] salvation do esteem, even as also the beloved of us brother Paul according to the having been given to him wisdom wrote to you,

16 Bulus a tere ni tu kpi beki wawu wa mba he ni mi han vuvumaa ni muma ikpi bari mba he ni ya toh be wa mba na toh kpi ana ni idi be wa mbana son kpieme na ba kwma tere siran na ki nda guru bsri yo niko mba du mbawuu kpamba.

as also in all (the *ko*) letters speaking in them concerning these things; among (which [letters] *N(k)O*) are difficult to be understood some things, which the ignorant and unestablished (distort *NK(o)*) as also the other Scriptures to the own of them destruction.

17 na ki be sonmu be rigga de toh ikpi be yiyei be ka ya kpabi na duba guru yi na ni guru u idi be wa mbana huu dika hre de na toh kpakyeme ini mi bi na

you yourselves therefore, beloved, knowing [this] beforehand do beware that not by the of the lawless error having been led away you may fall from the [your] own steadfastness,

18 e u be ka gburon ni mi dede ni toh irji mba yesu Almasihu wa a kpata chuwo du gbira san du he ni tuma zizi nikaseisei anakima. (aiōn g165)

do grow however in grace and in knowledge of the Lord of us and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him [be] the glory both now and to [the] day of eternity, Amen. (aiōn g165)
