1 Teselonikawa 4
1 Ni klekle, mri vayi, kisi bre nimi Bachi mbu Yesu dun yi kri gbamgba. Na wa bi wo ki bla hla ni yiwu nitu dun yi zren bi ni nkoh Irji, u bika zren tohki ndi kpa suron Irji kasi.
Finally then, brethren, we beseech and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that, as ye received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, even as ye do walk, —that ye abound more and more.
2 U bi toh ndi ikpe wa ki bla hla ni yiwu ahe ni nkoh Bachi Yesu.
For ye know what charge we gave you through the Lord Jesus.
3 Wayi mba ahi tie u Irji, ndi nglah iddri mbi, don dun yi wru-hleh ni ittre u kru ni-mbah,
For this is the will of God, [even] your sanctification, that ye abstain from fornication;
4 don dun wawu-mbi toh ndi nji kpambi ni nkoh wa abi,
that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honour,
5 ana ndi dun yi tie memme na biwa bana toh Irji ba tie na.
not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles which know not God;
6 Dun ndjro na ya mri vayi ma grjigrji nitu-ttre yi na. Don Irji mba ni kpa nyu mba toh bi tie naki, na wa ki gbii-tohn mbi ndi bla hla.
that no man transgress, and wrong his brother in the matter: because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as also we forewarned you and testified.
7 U Irji yoh ta rhi ni-ikpahn ddri, ana kpa iddri mbu tie-rji na.
For God called us not for uncleanness, but in sanctification.
8 Nitu kii, indji wa a kama ni ttre yi, ana kama ni ndji na, a kama ni Irji, waa ka suron ndindima nu.
Therefore he that rejecteth, rejecteth not man, but God, who giveth his Holy Spirit unto you.
9 Ni mgbala'u sohn mmri vayi'a, ana ndi dun ndjori ngna noh yi rhi bika toh na, u biyi kimbi bi toh ndi ahi Irji nikima a tsuro yi dun yi sohn kpambi.
But concerning love of the brethren ye have no need that one write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another;
10 Naki, bi ka tie wayi ni wawu mmri vayi wa ba he ni wawu Masidoniya. U kina ka chuwo ni hla niyiwu dun yi vu tre yi nji mgbamgba me na, mmri vayi.
for indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia. But we exhort you, brethren, that ye abound more and more;
11 Ki hla yiwu ngari ndi dun ki noyi gbemgblen dun yi soh bi, ndi vu-kpeh wa'a he ko shishi mbi, ndi tie ndu nì-wóh mbi, nawa ki bla zi yiwu,
and that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your hands, even as we charged you;
12 don dun yi zrehn ni nkoh ndindima ni shishi ndji bi kora u ndi na rhii ni-yyá na.
that ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and may have need of nothing.
13 Kita kina son dun yi kado na, immri vayi, nitu biwa ba krunna, don dun yi na yih na imbru-ndji biwa bana toh nitu njanji u ko-sshi'a na.
But we would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning them that fall asleep; that ye sorrow not, even as the rest, which have no hope.
14 U tó bi kpa-nyime ndi Yesu kwu nda tashime rji ni kwu-a ngari, naki, Irji ni nji ivvri biwa ba krunna ni nkoh ma kmaye.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also that are fallen asleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 Wayi ki bla hla ni yiwu ni-ttre Bachi, ndi kita biwa ki ri si vvri-a, wa a don ta ki toh ye u Bachi-a, kina guchi ni biwa ba krunna-a na.
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we that are alive, that are left unto the coming of the Lord, shall in no wise precede them that are fallen asleep.
16 Irji kima ani grji ye ni meme rji ni shulu. Ani ye nda yo gbamgba, ni lan u nigra bi gben ni koh Irji, u nda ni nvrih injon u Irji, u biwa ba kwu nimi Yesu'a ba rju guchi.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 U kita biwa ki ri si vri'a, wa ki ri he ni gbumgblu'a, kita ni biwa ba kwu'a ki lu hon hi toh Bachi ni shulu. ni naki ki sita sohn ni Bachi.
then we that are alive, that are left, shall together with them be caught up in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Nitu ki, bika si kpa suron mbi kusi ni-ttre bi yí.
Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
