1 Bulus, Silvanus, mba Timoti hi ni Chochi ni Tasalonika wandi a hi tietie ni Baci mbu Yesu Kristi. Do Irji zo yi du yiki piam me
Paul, and Silvanus, and Timothy, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace.
2 Kisi ngiri ni Irji kpukpome, dini yoyi ni suron, kita ki bre Irji chachu ni tu mbi.
We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention [of you] in our prayers;
3 Ki ta ri-mmre indú, ni kři ngangban mbi ni nkon Irji, mba ndu son ni vu suron, mba yo suron ni Baci mbu Yesu Kristi.
remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labour of love and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father;
4 Mmri vayi wa Irji son yi, ki toh Irji chuyi,
knowing, brethren beloved of God, your election,
5 nitu andi lan tre ma a ye ni yi ana ni gbengble megen na, ama ni ibrji yeyere wu Baci wandi ani nota sisuron. Bi yi me bi toh ko ki ndi bibirime, ni bibi son mbu niyi
how that our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and [in] much assurance; even as ye know what manner of men we shewed ourselves toward you for your sake.
6 Bi ka hu za mbu ni za Bachi mbu ngyerengyere ndi kpa tre Irji mba yá wa ndi ani hu gonma ni sisuron. Ni tu kima, bi yoh injo ndindima kaagon Masidoniya mba Akaya nitu lantre wa ndi bi kpa nyeme niwu.
And ye became imitators of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost;
so that ye became an ensample to all that believe in Macedonia and in Achaia.
8 Itre Bachi mbu zren kaagon rji ni yi nda ka rini Masidoniya mba Akaya, u kri gbamgba mbi ni nkoh Irji aka rini ko nintse. Bachi mbu a zren kaagon gbagban mu. Ni tu kima, kita kina he ni-kpe wa ki hla nitu mbi ngana.
For from you hath sounded forth the word of the Lord, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but in every place your faith to God-ward is gone forth; so that we need not to speak anything.
9 Babã me ba bla ndi bi-kpa ba ni wo-hah ni ƙma suron mbi rji ni hu brji ye ni hu Irji ni shulu,
For they themselves report concerning us what manner of entering in we had unto you; and how ye turned unto God from idols, to serve a living and true God,
10 nitu kima bisi gben Ivren Irji wa-ndi ani rji ni shulu, wa Irji a chu-u rji nimi ɓe nda nou vri - Yesu, wawu mba kpa ta chuwo rji ni-nfu Irji.
and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, [even] Jesus, which delivereth us from the wrath to come.
