< 1 Yohana 4 >
Beloved! not in every spirit, believe ye, but test the spirits, whether they are, of God; because, many false prophets, have gone out into the world.
2 Naki bi toh Ruhu Irji- du Ruhu wa a kpa yiem di yesu kristi aye ni mi n'man a rji ni Rji kena.
Hereby, do ye perceive the Spirit of God: —every spirit that confesseth Jesus Christ as having come, in flesh, is, of God;
3 Du Ruhu wa ana kpa yeim ni yesu na, ana rji ni Irji na. A Ruhu bi kran yesu kena wa bi woh da ni ye a riga da ye ni mi gbugbulu ye. Iftift Greek bi sen bi didi ba bla ifga di du Ruhu wa ana toh di Yesu a ye ni mi n man rji ni Irji na, ana u' Irji na ahi ki hi Ruhu bi kran Yesu, wa bi woh Kuma a hei ni gbugbulu ye ifga
And, every spirit that doth not confess Jesus, of God, is not. And, this, is the [spirit] of the Antichrist, touching which ye have heard that it cometh: even now, is it, in the world, already.
4 Bi yi bi rji ni Irji mri di zan gbengbenlen mba don wa a hei ni suron mbi a brabran zan wa ahei ni gbugbulu a.
Ye, are, of God, dear children, and have overcome them; because, greater, is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
They, are, of the world: For this cause, of the world, they speak, and the world, unto them, doth hearken.
We, are, of God: he that is getting to understand God, hearkeneth unto us, —whoso is not of God, hearkeneth not unto us: from this, perceive we—the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
7 Kaunatatu kin yema ni kpambu don i yemen a rji ni Irji, du indi wa ani yemn grji ni Irji wa kuma a toh Irji.
Beloved! let us be loving one another; because, love, is, of God, and, whosoever loveth, of God, hath been born, and is getting to understand God:
8 Indi wa na yemen ni ndi na ana toh Irji na, don Irji hi kauna.
He that doth not love, doth not understand God, because, God, is, love.
9 Naki iyemen u Irji ba shile ni mi mbu di Irji aton vre ma riri ye ni mi gbugbulu du ta kiso tutrun ni tu ma.
Herein, hath the love of God in us, been made manifest, that, his only-begotten Son, God sent into the world, in order that we might live through him.
Herein, is love: not that, we, have loved God, but that, he, loved us, and sent forth his Son, as a propitiation concerning our sins.
Beloved! If, in this way, God, loved us, we also, ought to love, one another.
12 Ba ndi wa a taba toh Irji.
Upon God, hath no one, at any time, gazed: If we love one another, God, in us, abideth, and, his love, hath been perfected within us.
13 Na ki ki toh di ki hei tare ni u'wa hei ni mi mibu. Anota bru Ruhu ma bari.
Hereby, perceive we—that, in him, are we abiding, and, he, in us, —in that, of his Spirit, hath he given unto us.
14 Na ki ki toh di kpayeim di Iti a ton vre ma du ye da kpa gbugbulu'a cuwo.
And, we, for ourselves have gazed, and are bearing witness—that, the Father, sent forth the Son, as Saviour of the world.
15 Du ndi wa a bu yua ma da tre di Yesu a vre Irji, Irji hei ni 'u' u wa wu hei ni mi Irji.
Whosoever shall confess, that, Jesus [Christ] is the Son of God, God, in him, abideth, and, he, in God.
16 Naki kita ki toh di kpayiem ni son wa Irji hei wu ta wu'a Irji hi son, ndi wa ahei ni mi son yi a hei ni mi Irji, u'Irji hei ni u game.
And, we, have come to understand and to trust the love which, God, hath, in us. God, is, love; and, he that abideth in love, in God, abideth, and, God, in him [abideth].
17 Ahei naki ison yi mla ta ti du ta hei ni gbengbenlen chachu bla tre ma naki ma ahei jaji kita me ki ka hei naki ni mi gbugbulu.
Herein, hath love with us, been made perfect, —in order that, boldness, we might have in the day of judging, —in that, just as, He, is, we also, are, in this world.
Fear, existeth not, in love, but, perfect love, casteth fear, outside; because, fear, hath correction: he that feareth, hath not been made perfect, in love.
19 Ki son 'u' don Irji guci sonta.
We, love, because, he, first loved us: —
20 Inde ndi wa a tre wawu ni son Irji da ni kran vayi ma, ahi ndi wu che. Ndi wa ana son vayi ma wa asi toh ana ni son Irji wa ana toh-o ma?
If one should say, I love God, and should be hating, his brother, false, is he; for, he that doth not love his brother, whom he hath seen, God, whom he hath not seen, he cannot love!
21 Naki wa yi ni tre wa ki kpa ni u' indi wa ni son Irji wa ka son vayi ma game.
And, this commandment, have we from him, —that, he who loveth God, love, his brother also.
