૧જયારે પાંચમા સ્વર્ગદૂતે રણશિંગડું વગાડ્યું, ત્યારે મેં એક તારો આકાશથી પૃથ્વી પર પડેલો જોયો; તેને અનંતઊંડાણની ખાઈની ચાવી અપાઈ. (Abyssos g12)

૨તેણે અનંતઊંડાણની ખાઈને ખોલી. તો તેમાંથી મોટી ભઠ્ઠીમાંથી નીકળતો હોય તેવો ધુમાડો નીકળ્યો તેનાથી સૂર્ય તથા હવા અંધકારમય થઈ ગયા. (Abyssos g12)
3 S'umanitsnowere p'eluwots datsats k'azbokeshi, datsatsi ok'oolishwots angok'o ango boosh imeyi,
૩એ ધુમાડામાંથી તીડો નીકળીને પૃથ્વી પર આવ્યાં, અને પૃથ્વી પરના વીંછીઓની શક્તિ જેવી શક્તિ તેઓને આપવામાં આવી.
4 Datsatsi bod wotowa aaw naari atts keewo kon naari mito bo aawashirawok'o boosh keeweyi, awaashiyo bofalitwonmó bobaratse Ik' matabo deshaw ashuwots s'uzi b́tesh.
૪અને તેઓને એવું ફરમાવ્યું કે, પૃથ્વીના ઘાસને, કોઈ છોડને તથા કોઈ ઝાડને નુકસાન કરો નહિ પણ જે માણસોના કપાળ પર ઈશ્વરની મહોર નથી તેઓને ઉપદ્રવ કરો.

૫તેઓને તે લોકોને મારી નાખવાની પરવાનગી આપી નહિ, પણ પાંચ મહિના સુધી પીડા પમાડે. વીંછુ જયારે માણસને ડંખ મારે છે ત્યારની પીડા જેવી એ પીડા હતી.
6 Aawu manotsitse ashuwots k'iro geyitúne, ernmó daatsratsne, k'iroshowere tewnitune, wotowa eree k'iro boatse k'aywos'etuwe.
૬તે દિવસોમાં માણસો મરણ માટે તળપશે પણ તે તેમને મળશે જ નહિ, તેઓ મરણ ઇચ્છશે પણ મરણ તેઓ પાસેથી જતું રહેશે.
7 P'eluwots kes' amoosh k'andek'ts farshwotsi arkno botesh, botookatse awntsi akililiyo arts keewo fa'e b́ tesh, boshiitsonwere ash shiitsa arka b́tesh.
૭તે તીડોનાં સ્વરૂપ લડાઈને માટે તૈયાર કરેલા ઘોડાઓનાં જેવા હતાં, અને તેઓનાં માથાં પર જાણે કે સોનાનાં હોય એવા મુગટો હતા તેઓના ચહેરા માણસોના ચહેરા જેવા હતા;

૮અને તેઓના વાળ સ્ત્રીનાં વાળ જેવા અને તેઓના દાંત સિંહના દાંત જેવા હતા;
9 Bogeraatsowere bir arts t'ururi tahdek'kno boteshi, bobangi k'aaronúwere kes'o maants gaalfetst amiru ay farshuwotsnat seregelwots boshishiyru k'áárok'oyiye b́teshi.
૯અને તેઓનાં અંગે લોખંડનાં બખતર જેવા બખતર હતાં; અને તેઓની પાંખોનો અવાજ યુદ્ધમાં દોડતા ઘણાં ઘોડાના રથોના અવાજ જેવો હતો.
10 Ok'oolishi dúshok'o dúshonat bín boshas'etwo detsfne boteshi, bodúshootse ashuwotsi bín úúts shashosh bokúúnit ango detsfne boteshi.
૧૦તેઓને વીંછુઓના જેવી પૂંછડી હતી, અને ડંખ પણ હતો, તેઓની પૂંછડીઓમાં માણસોને પાંચ માસ સુધી પીડા પમાડવાની શક્તિ હતી.

૧૧અનંતઊંડાણનો જે દૂત છે તે તેઓનો રાજા છે; તેનું નામ હિબ્રૂ ભાષામાં અબેદોન, પણ ગ્રીક ભાષામાં તેનું નામ આપોલ્યોન એટલે વિનાશક છે. (Abyssos g12)

૧૨પહેલી આફત પૂરી થઈ છે, જુઓ, હવે પછી બીજી બે આફતો આવવાની છે.

૧૩પછી છઠ્ઠા સ્વર્ગદૂતે પોતાનું રણશિંગડું દૂતે વગાડ્યું ત્યારે ઈશ્વરની સન્મુંખની સોનાની યજ્ઞવેદીનાં શિંગડાંમાંથી નીકળતી હોય એવી એક વાણી મેં સાંભળી;

૧૪તેણે જે છઠ્ઠા સ્વર્ગદૂતની પાસે રણશિંગડું હતું તેને કહ્યું કે, ‘મહાનદી યુફ્રેતિસ પર જે ચાર નર્કદૂતો બાંધેલા છે તેઓને મુક્ત કરે.

૧૫આ ચાર દૂતો માણસોના ત્રીજા ભાગને મારી નાખે તે ઘડી, દિવસ, મહિના તથા વર્ષને માટે તૈયાર કરાયા હતા તેઓને છૂટા કરાયા.

૧૬તેઓના લશ્કરના ઘોડેસવારોની સંખ્યા વીસ કરોડ હતી તે મારા સાંભળવામાં આવી.
17 Farshetswotsnat farshats beedk'tswotsi bek'on t bek'tso hank'oyi, bogeratse teshts t'ururiyo tawk'ak'ok'o bíra, darimaac'ok'o aak'a, ac'uwok'owere arka b́tesh, farshwots tookonúwere eeshi took arka b́tesh, bo nonotse tawonat s'uwonú diniyo b́keshfere b́tesh,
૧૭આવી રીતે દર્શનમાં મેં ઘોડાઓને તથા તેઓ પર બેઠેલાઓને જોયા; તેઓનાં બખતર આગ જેવા રાતાં, જાંબલી તથા ગંધકના રંગના હતાં. એ ઘોડાઓનાં માથાં સિંહોનાં માથાં જેવા હતાં, અને તેઓનાં મોંમાંથી આગ તથા ધુમાડા તથા ગંધક નીકળતાં હતાં.
18 Bononótse bokishts tawon, s'uwonat diniyo keez fayanotsn, ash naaro keezotse ik kisho b́úd'eyi.
૧૮એ ત્રણ આફતોથી, એટલે તેઓના મુખમાંથી નીકળતી આગથી, ધુમાડાથી તથા ગંધકથી માણસોનો ત્રીજો ભાગ મારી નંખાયો;
19 Manwere eegoshe farshwots ango bo nononat bo dúshots b́ teshtsoshe, bo dúshonwere dawunzi dúsha bíari, dawunzi tookonowere detsfno, ashonowere waas'o bokashir manna b́tesh.
૧૯કેમ કે ઘોડાઓની શક્તિ તેઓનાં મોંમાં તથા તેઓની પૂંછડીઓમાં છે; કારણ કે તેઓનાં પૂંછડાં સાપના જેવા છે, અને તેઓને માથાં હોય છે જેથી તેઓ ઉપદ્રવ કરે છે.
20 Fayanotsn k'irraniyere oorts ash naarwots bokishi finatse aanat naandrone eraatsno, fo'erawonat awntson, ambaron, k'áázon shútsonat mitoon dozets bek'o wee shisho falaaw, wee sha'o falaaw woteraw ik'uwotsi ik'iyo k'ayatsne.
૨૦બાકીના જે માણસો તે આફતોથી મારી નંખાયા નહિ, તેઓએ પોતાના હાથની કૃતિઓ સંબંધી એટલે કે દુષ્ટાત્માઓની, સોનાની, રૂપાની, પિત્તળની, પથ્થરની તથા લાકડાની મૂર્તિઓ જેઓને જોવાની તથા સાંભળવાની તથા ચાલવાની પણ શક્તિ નથી, તેઓની ઉપાસના કરવાનો પસ્તાવો કર્યો નહિ.

૨૧વળી તેઓએ પોતે કરેલી હત્યાઓ, જાદુક્રિયા, વ્યભિચારના પાપો તથા ચોરીઓ વિષે પસ્તાવો કર્યો નહિ.
