The fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star from the sky which had fallen to the earth. The key to the pit of the abyss was given to him. (Abyssos g12)
2 Bí ayidek't dashan wokts gop'o b́k'eshi, s'uwonwere taw awuri eenotse keshf s'uwok'o ayidashan wokts gop'manitse b́keshi, gop'manitse keshts s'uwatse tuutson aawonat jongon t'alu bowtsi, (Abyssos g12)
He opened the pit of the abyss, and smoke went up out of the pit, like the smoke from a burning furnace. The sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke from the pit. (Abyssos g12)
3 S'umanitsnowere p'eluwots datsats k'azbokeshi, datsatsi ok'oolishwots angok'o ango boosh imeyi,
Then out of the smoke came locusts on the earth, and power was given to them, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
4 Datsatsi bod wotowa aaw naari atts keewo kon naari mito bo aawashirawok'o boosh keeweyi, awaashiyo bofalitwonmó bobaratse Ik' matabo deshaw ashuwots s'uzi b́tesh.
They were told that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only those people who don’t have God’s seal on their foreheads.
5 Bonor b́wotiyal úúts shashosh bo kúnituwok'owa bako boúd'ituwok'o boosh alo imeratse, p'eluwots boats bobetsts kúúno ok'olsho asho b́shaas'ori ashuwotssh b́weeshfok'oyiye.
They were given power, not to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a person.
6 Aawu manotsitse ashuwots k'iro geyitúne, ernmó daatsratsne, k'iroshowere tewnitune, wotowa eree k'iro boatse k'aywos'etuwe.
In those days people will seek death, and will in no way find it. They will desire to die, and death will flee from them.
7 P'eluwots kes' amoosh k'andek'ts farshwotsi arkno botesh, botookatse awntsi akililiyo arts keewo fa'e b́ tesh, boshiitsonwere ash shiitsa arka b́tesh.
The shapes of the locusts were like horses prepared for war. On their heads were something like golden crowns, and their faces were like people’s faces.
8 Mááts tooki s'iiro arts tooki s'iiro detsfno botesh, bo gáshonwere eeshi gásh arka b́ tesh.
They had hair like women’s hair, and their teeth were like those of lions.
9 Bogeraatsowere bir arts t'ururi tahdek'kno boteshi, bobangi k'aaronúwere kes'o maants gaalfetst amiru ay farshuwotsnat seregelwots boshishiyru k'áárok'oyiye b́teshi.
They had breastplates like breastplates of iron. The sound of their wings was like the sound of many chariots and horses rushing to war.
10 Ok'oolishi dúshok'o dúshonat bín boshas'etwo detsfne boteshi, bodúshootse ashuwotsi bín úúts shashosh bokúúnit ango detsfne boteshi.
They have tails like those of scorpions, with stingers. In their tails they have power to harm men for five months.
11 Nugúsono detsfne botesh, bíwere dashan gop'ts gop'i melakiyoni, b́shútsonwere Ibrayist'i noon keew keewon Abadoni, Griki noon keew keewon Ap'oli'oni eteefoni. (Abyssos g12)
They have over them as king the angel of the abyss. His name in Hebrew is “Abaddon”, but in Greek, he has the name “Apollyon”. (Abyssos g12)
12 Indowe eteef shintso beshere, eshe haniyere il k'osh git indowe eto weetwe.
The first woe is past. Behold, there are still two woes coming after this.
13 Shirtl melakiyo b́ ezbedo b́fugi, eshe Ik'i shinatse fa'a awntson dozets it'ani wosho bíyatse t'iintsef t'arap'ezats awd k'alwotsoke k'ááro b́keshfere tshishi.
The sixth angel sounded. I heard a voice from the horns of the golden altar which is before God,
14 K'áármanwere ezbedo detsdek'ts shrtl melakiyosh «Fok eeno Efrat'esitse tipeets melaki awdwotsi biishe!» bíet
saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Free the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates!”
15 Sa'atmannat aawmansh shaashmannat worwotmansh k'andek'ts melaki awdwots ash naarotse keezotse ik kisho boúd'ituwok'o bo biitseyi.
The four angels were freed who had been prepared for that hour and day and month and year, so that they might kill one third of mankind.
16 Farshon kes'fuwots ayo git bal miliyoniyok'o b́woto tshishi.
The number of the armies of the horsemen was two hundred million. I heard the number of them.
17 Farshetswotsnat farshats beedk'tswotsi bek'on t bek'tso hank'oyi, bogeratse teshts t'ururiyo tawk'ak'ok'o bíra, darimaac'ok'o aak'a, ac'uwok'owere arka b́tesh, farshwots tookonúwere eeshi took arka b́tesh, bo nonotse tawonat s'uwonú diniyo b́keshfere b́tesh,
Thus I saw the horses in the vision and those who sat on them, having breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the horses’ heads resembled lions’ heads. Out of their mouths proceed fire, smoke, and sulfur.
18 Bononótse bokishts tawon, s'uwonat diniyo keez fayanotsn, ash naaro keezotse ik kisho b́úd'eyi.
By these three plagues, one third of mankind was killed: by the fire, the smoke, and the sulfur, which proceeded out of their mouths.
19 Manwere eegoshe farshwots ango bo nononat bo dúshots b́ teshtsoshe, bo dúshonwere dawunzi dúsha bíari, dawunzi tookonowere detsfno, ashonowere waas'o bokashir manna b́tesh.
For the power of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails. For their tails are like serpents, and have heads; and with them they harm.
20 Fayanotsn k'irraniyere oorts ash naarwots bokishi finatse aanat naandrone eraatsno, fo'erawonat awntson, ambaron, k'áázon shútsonat mitoon dozets bek'o wee shisho falaaw, wee sha'o falaaw woteraw ik'uwotsi ik'iyo k'ayatsne.
The rest of mankind, who were not killed with these plagues, didn’t repent of the works of their hands, that they wouldn’t worship demons, and the idols of gold, and of silver, and of brass, and of stone, and of wood, which can’t see, hear, or walk.
21 Mank'owere kash úd'tswotsi bowottsotse, aton shetonfiinatse, bowidonat boúmp'atse naandrone eratsne.
They didn’t repent of their murders, their sorceries, their sexual immorality, or their thefts.
