< Yohans Bek'o 8 >

1 Mererman shaawatl matabo b́wogtsok'on sa'at badok'oosh darotse s'ik eto wotb́wtsi.
And, as soon as he opened the seventh seal, there came to be silence in heaven, as it were half an hour.
2 Ik'i shinatse need'iru shawat melakiwotsno tbek'i, booshowere shawat gaatwotsi imeyi.
And I saw the seven messengers which, before God, do stand; and there were given unto them seven trumpets.
3 Awntson dozets it'ano bíts t'iintsefu detsdek'ts k'osh melakyo waat wosh t'intseyiru t'arap'ezi ganoke need'b́dek'i, naashi jori shinatse fa'a awntson dozets it'ano bíyatse s'uwyef t'arap'ezats S'ayn jamwots Ik' k'ononton b́ t'intsit ay it'ano bísh imk'reyi.
And, another messenger, came, and took his stand at the altar, having a censer of gold: and there was given unto him much incense, that he might give [it] unto the prayers of all the saints, upon the altar of gold that is before the throne.
4 It'ani s'uwo S'ayinwots Ik' k'ononton melakiyo kishotse Ik'o shinats b́keshi.
And the smoke of the incense went up, with the prayers of the saints, out of the hand of the messenger before God.
5 Haniyere il melakiyo bíyats it'aan t'intseyiru dets dek't wosh t'intseyiru t'arap'eezatse taw k'ak'o k'aa'údek' bín s'eents dek't datsomants shap'b́k'ri, awushi guumo, k'aaro, awushi p'alk'o, datsi shek'ewonwere wotbwtsi.
And the messenger at once took the censer, and filled it from the fire of the altar, and cast unto the earth; and there came to be thunderings, and voices, and lightnings, and an earthquake.
6 Shawat gaatwotsi detsdek'ts shawat melakiwots gaatwotsi fugosh k'anbodek'i.
And, the seven messengers who had the seven trumpets, prepared themselves, that they might sound.
7 Melaki shintso fugef gaatman b́fugi, shetsonat s'atson bín eeh wutsts tawo wotb́wtsi, datsatsowere juwee b́wtsi, datsatsno keezl kisho mis'bwtsi, mitwotsitsnowere keezl kisho mis'b́wtsi, atts bodjamonwere mis'bwtsi.
And, the first, sounded; and there came to be hail and fire mingled with blood, and it was cast unto the earth; and, the third of the earth, was burned up, and, the third of the trees, was burned up, and, all green herbage, was burned up.
8 Gitl melakiyonwere gaatman b́fugi, guri een arts keewonwere mis'fetst aats k'arots b́ juweyi, aats k'ari keezl kishonwere s'ats wotb́wtsi,
And, the second messenger, sounded; and, as it were a great mountain burning with fire, was cast into the sea; and the third of the sea became blood,
9 Aats k'arots beyiru kash detsts azetswotsitse keezl kisho k'irb́wtsi, markabwotsitse keezl kisho awaashb́wtsi.
and the third of the creatures which were in the sea, which had life, died, the third of the ships, was destroyed.
10 Keezl melakiyonwere gaatman b́fugi, tipeets c'eeshok'o aat'iru een k'eeno darotse fed'b́wtsi, b́fed'were fokitsi keezl kishonat aats t'up'uwotsatsa b́tesh.
And, the third messenger, sounded; and there fell, out of heaven, a great star, burning as a torch, and it fell upon the third of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters.
11 K'eenman shúútsonwere s'aama eteeka, aatsotsi keezl kishonwere s'aam wotb́wtsi, s'aam wotts aatsatse tuutson ay ashuwots bok'iri.
And, the name of the star, is called Wormwood; and the third of the waters became wormwood, and many of the men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
12 Awdl melakiyo gaatman b́fugi, aaw keezl kisho, aashitsu keezel kisho, k'eenwotsitsi keezl kisho togeb́wtsi, mann bo keezl kisho t'aluw b́wtsi, mank'oon aawotse keezl kisho t'úwotse keezl kisho shanalko wotbwtsi.
And, the fourth messenger, sounded; and the third of the sun was smitten, and the third of the moon, and the third of the stars, —in order that the third of them might be darkened, and the day might not shine for the third of it, and the night, in like manner.
13 Haniyere il ts'ilor aak iko dari taalotse biidfere k'áári eenon «Oorts melaki keezwots bo gaati k'aaro boshishiyor datsatse beyiru ashuwotssh indowe boosha! indowe boosha! indowe boosha!» etfetst b́kuhefere t shishi.
And I saw, and I heard one eagle, flying in mid-heaven, saying with a loud voice—Woe! woe! woe! unto them that are dwelling upon the earth, by reason of the remaining voices of the trumpet, of the three messengers who are about to sound.
