< Yohans Bek'o 10 >

1 Haniyere okoon daawn tahdek'ts melaki k'osho kúp'o darotse b́ oot'fere t bek'i, b́ tookatsowere gúúrdek't beyirwo Ik'i edjoka b́tesh, b́ shiitso aawok'oyi, b́tufuwots tawu írok'ono botesh,
And I saw another strong angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud, and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was like the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire.
2 Wogk'reets k'odets mas'aaf muk'u b́ kishatse detsdek'tni b́tesh, b́ k'ani tufo aats k'araats, b́ giri tufonowere datsats gedb́dek'i,
And he had in his hand a little book open. And he set his right foot upon the sea, and the left upon the land;
3 K'adiru eeshi k'arok'o arts k'aari eenonowere b́ kuhi, b́ kuhorowere shawat awushi guumwotsu bok'aaro bo shishiyi.
and he cried with a loud voice, as a lion roars. And when he had cried, the seven thunders uttered their voices.
4 Shawat awushi guumwotswere noono bokeewtsok'on taa guut'o gawutdek'i, ernmó «Shawat aawush guummanots bokeewtso ipde'er áátson deshde'e bako guut'k'aye!» etiru k'ááro darotse tshishi.
And when the seven thunders had spoken, I was about to write; and I heard a voice from heaven saying, Seal up the things which the seven thunders spoke, and write them not.
5 Haniyere il aats k'aaronat datsats b́ need'efere tbek'ts melakiyo b́ k'ani kisho dambaan k'aaúdek't
And the angel whom I saw standing upon the sea, and upon the land, lifted up his right hand to heaven,
6 Dúre dúrosh beyar beetwon, daronat bítse beyirwotsi, datsunat bgitsotse beyirwotsn, aats k'aaronat bítse beyirwotsn aztso Izar Izewer shútson taart hank'o bíeti, «Eshe haniyak ja'aratsese! (aiōn g165)
and swore by him who liveth for ever and ever, who created the heaven, and the things therein, and the earth and the things therein, and the sea, and the things therein, that there should be no longer delay; (aiōn g165)
7 Ernmó melakiyo shawatlo ezbedi k'ááro b́shisht aawwots b́guuts nebiyiwotssh b́ nabts doo shishi b́keewtsok'on ááshts Ik'i keewo s'eenetwe.»
but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then should be finished the mystery of God, as he declared the glad tidings to his servants the prophets.
8 Maniyere il darotse tshishts k'ááro «Aats k'aaronat datsatse need'iru melakiyo kishatse fa'onat wogeets mas'aafi k'odo amr k'aaúde'e» ett aaniyi taash b́keewi.
And the voice which I heard out of heaven I heard again speaking to me, and saying: Go, take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel who is standing upon the sea, and upon the land.
9 Melakiyokowere amaat «K'odets mas'aaf múk'na'ú taash ime» tieti, bíwere «Mas'aafmani k'aa'úde'er moowe, nmaac'otse s'aamo wotitwaniye, nnonotsnmó mas'ook'o shawetwaniye» bí eti.
And I went to the angel, telling him to give me the little book. And he saith to me, Take it, and eat it up; and it will make thy stomach bitter, but in thy mouth it will be sweet as honey.
And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey; and when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter.
11 Maniyere il «Jir aywots jangosh, ash ashosh, k'osh k'osh naari noon keewiru ashuwotsnat nugúsuwots jangosh ando aani bek'on keewo neesh geyife» ett taash keeweyi.
And it was said to me, Thou must again prophesy concerning many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
