1 Iyesus b́ shuuts shoydek't sha'iru ay asho b́ bek'tsok'on, guri abaats kesht beeb́dek'i, b́ danifwots b́maants t'iinbodek'i.
And seeing the multitudes He went up to a mountain, and when He was set down, His disciples came to Him,
2 Hank'o et tnwere daniyo dek'b́twi.
and He opened his mouth and taught them, saying,
3 «Dari mengstu bok b́wottsotse, Ik'ats te'eyirwots derekne.
Blessed are the poor in spirit; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they that mourn; for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek; for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are the merciful; for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart; for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peace-makers; for they shall be called the children of God.

Blessed are they, who are persecuted for righteousness sake; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 «T jangosha err ashaashwots itn boc'ashor bogiishor, kooton it shúútso bot'afiwor derek itne.
Blessed are ye when men shall revile and persecute you, and utter all manner of reproach against you falsly, for my sake:

rejoice and be exceeding glad; for great will be your reward in heaven: for so they persecuted the prophets, that were before you.
13 Manats dabt Iyesus hank'owa bíet, «It datsatsi beerok'o itne, ernmó beero b́shaawo b́ t'ut'etka wotiyal b́shaawo aak'alrniya aaniy daatso b́faliti? Úromaants juweyar ashon net'eyoniyere okoon shinomaants egoshor woteratse.
Ye are the salt of the earth, but if the salt be grown insipid, wherewith shall it be seasoned? it is no longer fit for any thing, but to be thrown out of doors, and trodden under foot.
14 Itiye datsansh sháán itne, guri abaats ageets kitu ááshosh falratsane.
Ye are the light of the world: a city, that is situated on a hill, cannot be hid.

So let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father, who is in heaven.

Whosoever therefore shall break one of the left of these commandments, and thereby teach men so to do, he shall be esteemed very little in the kingdom of heaven: but whoever shall do as well as teach them, he shall be accounted great in the kingdom of heaven.

For I tell you, that unless your righteousness exceed that of the scribes and pharisees, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

but I say unto you, that whosoever is angry with his brother without cause shall be liable to the judgment; and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be obnoxious to the council; but whosoever shall say, "Thou fool," shall be in danger of hell-fire. (Geenna g1067)

verily, I say unto thee, thou shalt not come out from thence, till thou hast paid the very last farthing.
27 Manats dabt Iyesus hank'owa bíet, «Wido amk'aye!» eteetsok'o shishrte.
Ye have heard, that it was said to the ancients, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
28 Taamó itsh keewirwe, «Máátso s'iilt tewnts jamo, manoor b́ nibotse binton k'eeree» etre.
but I tell you, that whosoever looketh on a woman, so as to lust after her, hath already debauched her in his heart.

And therefore if thy right eye cause thee to offend, pluck it out and cast it from thee; for it is better for thee that one part of thee perish, than that thy whole body should be cast into hell: (Geenna g1067)
30 N k'ani kisho morro n finitwok'o b́ k'aliyal, k'ut'de juk'rowe, niats jamo gahanemits b́ juwewoniyere niatsotse ikoku n t'ut'o k'anefe neesha. (Geenna g1067)
and if thy right hand cause thee to offend, cut it off and cast it from thee; for it is better for thee that one of thy limbs should perish, than that thy whole body should be cast into hell. (Geenna g1067)
31 «B́ máátsu fakshitu jamo bin b́fakshtsok'o kitsit frmo bish ímee» etre.
And it has been said, whosoever would put away his wife, let him give her a bill of divorce:

but I say unto you, that whosoever shall put away his wife, except on account of whoredom, tempteth her to commit adultery; and if any man marry her that is divorced, he committeth adultery.

Again, ye have heard, that it was said to the ancients, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:
34 Taamó, «B́jamonor taark'ayere» etirwe itsha. Daronwere Ik'i beyoki joor b́wottsotse, daronor b́wotiyal,

Give to him that asketh thee, and him, that would borrow of thee, turn not away.
