1 Maniye hakon manoke kakuwedek't beyiru ash ashuwots dek' amt P'ilat'os shinats t'intsbok'ri,
And one and all the throng of them, arising, led him unto Pilate.
2 Hank'o ettnwere bín s'aamiyo dek' botuwi, «Ashaan no ashuwotsi b́shelifere daatsrone, Rom nugúsoshowere ereero dasherawok'o bazife, ando ‹Taahe nuguso Krstos taane› ettniye b́ keewiri.»
And they began to accuse him, saying—This one, found we, perverting our nation, and forbidding to give, tribute unto Caesar, —and affirming himself to be, an anointed king.
3 P'ilat'oswere «Ayhudiwots naasho neeneya?» ett Iyesusi bíaati. Iyesuswere «Nee niettsok'oyiye» bí eti.
And, Pilate, questioned him, saying—Art, thou, the king of the Jews? And, he, answering him, said—Thou, sayest.
4 Manoor P'ilat'os kahani naashuwotsnat ash ashosh «Ashaanatse eegor t'afiyo daatsratse» bí et.
And, Pilate, said unto the High-priests and the multitudes, Nothing, find I, worthy of blame, in this man.
5 Boomó «Ashaan Geliln b́detstso hanok b́borfetsosh, Yihud dats jamatse daniyfetst ash asho boatsatseyo bofayetuwok'o b́ woshiri» etfetst kup'shdek't bos'aamiyi.
But, they, began to be urgent, saying—He is stirring up the people, teaching along all Judaea, even beginning from Galilee unto this place.
6 P'ilat'os Gelili eteets shútsman b́ shishtsok'on, «Ashaan Gelil dats asheya?» ett bíaat.
Now, Pilate, hearing [that], questioned whether the man was, a Galilaean.
7 Iyesus b́ waa Herodis alts datsatse b́ waatsok'o b́ dantsok'on Herodisok damibk'ri, Herodisuwere manoor Iyerusalemitsa b́tesh.
And, getting to know that he was of the jurisdiction of Herod, he sent him back unto Herod, he also, being in Jerusalem in these days.
8 Herodisuwere Iyesusi b́bek'tsok'on ayidek't gene'úb́guts, Iyesus jango b́shishtsotse bín bek'ono ayoto tewuntni b́teshi, mank'o Iyesus adits finuwotsno b́ finefere bek'oshor b́geefotsna.
And, Herod, seeing Jesus, rejoiced exceedingly; for he had been, a considerable number of times, wishing to see him, —because he had heard concerning him, and was hoping, some sign, to behold, by him, brought to pass.
9 Mansh Herodis Iyesusi ay keewo bíaat, Iyesusmó bísh eegor aaniratse.
And he went on to question him in a good many words; but, he, answered him, nothing.
10 Kahni naashuwotsnat Muse nemo danifuwots manoke need'dek't kup'idek't bín bos'aamiri.
And the High-priests and the Scribes stood vehemently accusing him.
11 Herodis b́ jirwotsnton bíats trgic'o b́ kaash, tahi sheengonowere bíats takdek't P'ilat'osok aani dek't damib́k'r.
And Herod with his soldiery, having set him at nought, and mocked him, threw about him a gorgeous robe, and sent him back unto Pilate.
12 Herodisnat P'ilat'osn maniye shin balngar teshtswots manots aawots jagebowutsi.
And they became friends—both Herod and Pilate—on the self-same day, one with another; for they had previously been at enmity between themselves.
13 Maniye hakon P'ilat'os k'eesi naashuwotsi, ash jishfuwotsnat ashuwotsi dabdek't iknon b́ s'eegi,
And, Pilate, calling together the High-priests, and the Rulers, and the people,
14 Hank'owere boosh bí et, « ‹Ashuwotsi bo fayetuwok'o b́ tuuziri› etaat ashaan t maants dek'at it weyi, taawere hamb it shinatse aatat tiere it etts jam weeron ashaanatse ik t'afiyonor daatsratse.
said unto them—Ye brought unto me this man, as one turning away the people, and lo! I, in your presence, examining him, found, nothing, in this man worthy of blame, in respect of the things whereof ye were making accusation against him.
15 Mank'owere Herodiswor bíatse b́ t'afitso ikonor b́ t'ut'tsotse nomand aani dek't doyik'rere, eshe ashaanatse k'irosh bín betsit keewo ikonor bíatse daatsratse.
Nay! nor Herod; for he hath sent him back unto you, —and lo! nothing worthy of death, hath been done by him.
16 Manshe garafarniye bín faksh t k'ritiye.»
So, then, chastising him, I will release him.
17 [Dúre dúron Fazigi bali aawots P'ilat'os tipitsi ashuwotsitse iko ashuwotssh b́ fakshfotsna.]
18 Mansh ash jamo «Ashaan no ááwatse ok t'afiwe! Berbannmo biishde fakshk'rowe noosha!» et fetst ik k'aaron bokuhi.
But they cried aloud, with the whole throng, saying—Away with this man! and release unto us Barabbas: —
19 Berban kitutse dimbro tuuzt ashono ud't manatse tuutson tip moots tipek asha b́tesh.
who indeed, because of a certain revolt which had occurred in the city, and of murder, had been thrown into prison.
20 P'ilat'os Iyesusi bíshde faksho geyat́ aani ash ashuwotssh b́keewu.
Again, however, Pilate, called out unto them, wishing to release Jesus.
21 Ashuwotsmo «Bín jirk'rowe! jirk'rowe bína!» ett bokuhi.
But, they, called out in return, saying—Crucify! crucify him!
22 P'ilat'osuwere keezlo boosh hank'o bíet, «Ashaan b́ t'afitso b́jamon eebi? Taa k'irosh bín betsit keewo eegor bí atse datsratsere, manshe garafarni faksh tk'riti.»
But, he, the third time, said unto them—Why! what base thing hath this man done? Nothing worthy of death, found I in him. Chastising him, then, I will release him!
23 Boomó bok'aaro eenshdek't «Jiir k'rowe bína!» ett bokuhi, ashuwotsnat k'eesi naashuwots k'aaro ayidek't enbgutsi.
But they became urgent with loud voices, claiming to have him crucified; and their voices began to prevail.
24 Manatse tuutson bo aattso boosh k'aletuwok'o P'ilat'os angsh b́k'r.
And, Pilate, consented, that their request should be granted;
25 Galotse asho beezo bazt ando asho úd't bíere tipt teshetso Berbani bo aattsok'on fakshb́k'ri, Iyesusnmo boshuntsok'on boosh beshidek't imb́k'r.
and released him who, for revolt and murder, had been cast into prison, whom they claimed, —whereas, Jesus, delivered he up unto their will.
26 Mann Iyesusi dek't boami, dek't boamfere K'erena eteets datsi ash wottso Simoni gat'ariyon kito maants b́kindfere dats bodek'i, bín detsdek't mask'aliyo Iyesusko kuridek't Iyesus shuutso shoyde b́shaituwok'o bo k'ali.
And, as they led him away, they laid hold of a certain Simon, a Cyrenian, coming from the country, —they laid on him the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.
27 Ay ashonwere Iyesus shutsats shoydektni boamir bítesh, bodagotsno bo gero jot'fetst eepiru maats maatsuwots fa'ano.
And there was following him a great throng of the people, and of women, who were smiting themselves and lamenting him.
28 Iyesusmó bomaand wongr ett hank'o boosh bíet, «It Iyerusalem dats máátsuwotso! it tokonat it na'osh efere bako taash eepk'ayere!
But, turning towards them, Jesus said—Daughters of Jerusalem! Do not weep for me; but, for yourselves, be weeping, and for your children.
29 ‹Mahan wotts máátsuwots, shurawu maac'wotsnat s'aatsrawu s'atsuwots awuk'o derekno!› eteet aawwots weetúnee.
For lo! days are coming, in which they will say—Happy the barren! even the wombs that never bare, and the breasts that never gave suck.
30 Manoor ash ashuwots gúrwotssh, ‹No abaats grshore!› guri teuwotsshowere ‹Noon atsuwore!› eto deebotuwiti.
Then, will they begin to say—unto the mountains, Fall upon us! and unto the hills, Cover us!
31 Miti motsats hank'o keewu jaman k'aletka wotiyal eshe miti shuk'onmo awuk'owek'uwa k'aleti?»
Because if, in moist wood, these things, they are doing, —in, the dry, what shall happen?
32 Mank'owere gond finets git ashuwotsi Iyesusnton úd'osh dek't boami.
And there were being led, two other evil-doers also, to be lifted up.
33 Took k'ola wee K'araniyo eteef beyokok bobodtsokon manoke Iyesusi jitbok'ri, mank'o gond finets ash gitwotsi iko Iyesus giromaants iko b́ k'anomaants jitbok'ri.
And, when they came into the place which was called Skull, there, they crucified him; and the evil-doers, one indeed on the right hand, and the other on the left.
34 Maniyehakon Iyesus, «T niho! bo k'aliruwo bodanawotse boosh orowa eree!» bíet. Kes' kes'fuwotsu Iyesus tahats it'o oorsht kaybodek'i.
But, Jesus, was saying—Father! forgive them; for they know not what they do. And, when they were parting his garments, they cast lots.
35 Ash ashonwere need'dek'tni bos'iliri botesh, Ayhudi naashuwots uwere «K'oshuwotsnoó worire and eshe bí Ik'i futtso Ik'o b́tokosh marat'bdek'tsoni wotiyal aab b́ tooko woriwe!» etfetst́ bíts bokaashi.
And the people were standing, looking on. But the rulers were sneering, saying—Others, he saved, let him save himself, —if, this, is, the Christ of God, the Chosen.
36 Kes' kes'fuwotswere mank'o bíatsa bokashfera botesh, b́maand t'int bíro ayidek't shashtso boimi.
Moreover the soldiers also mocked him, —coming near, offering, vinegar, unto him,
37 Bowor mank'o «Nee arikon ayhudiwotsko naasho nana wotiyal aab n tooko woride'e!» boetiri.
and saying—If, thou, art the King of the Jews, save thyself.
38 «Ayhudiwotsko naasho haniye» ett guut'etso Iyesus jitetsi k'oyats gedbok'ri.
Now there was an inscription also, over him—THE KING OF THE JEWS, THIS!
39 Iyesusnton jitets gond finetsuwotsitse iko, Iyesussh, «Nee mesihiyo nenoshna? Aab eshe n tokonat noon woriwe!» ett bín b́ c'ashfera b́tesh.
And, one of the suspended evil-doers, began to defame him—Art not, thou, the Christ? Save thyself and us!
40 Boyitse ikonmó bín hank'o ettni b́fay, «Neewor bíki naari angshotse bedek'at Ik'o sharatsiya?
But the other, answering, rebuked him, and said—Neither fearest, thou, God, in that thou art, in the same judgment?
41 Noo nofints morratse tuutso noosh wotit fayo daatsrone, ashaanmó eegonor t'afiyo deshatse.»
And, we, indeed, justly, —for, things worthy of what we have done, are we duly receiving, but, this man, nothing amiss, hath done.
42 Manats dabt Iyesussh, «Doonzono! n mengstots n woor taan batk'aye.» bíet.
And he went on to say—Jesus! remember me, whensoever thou shalt come into thy kingdom.
43 Iyesuswere «Ariko neesh keewiruwe, hambets taanton genetotse daatsetune» bíet.
And he said unto him—Verily, I say unto thee this day: With me, shalt thou be in Paradise.
44 Man b́wotuwe aaw shrt sa'atok'ona b́tesh, manortson tuut jed'iy sa'ato b́borfetsosh datsjamatse t'alu wotb́gutsi.
And it was already about the sixth hour, and, darkness, came upon the whole land, until the ninth hour, —
45 Aawo t'aluwu b́wutsi, Ik'i meyitsi magarajo taalotse dek't tuut gaad'at gitoko kayb́gutsi.
the sun failing; and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.
46 Iyesuswere b́k'aaro eenshdek't, «Nihono! hambiye! tkashu nkishats beshidek'at adaro imiruwe!» bí et, man bíettsok'on b́ kasho bíatsotse k'azb́kesh.
And, calling out with a loud voice, Jesus said—Father! into thy hands, I commend my spirit. And, this, saying, he ceased to breathe.
47 Manoke teshts bali naash wottso, wotts man b́bek'tsok'on «Arikon ashaan kááwe b́teshi!» ett Ik'o b́ mangiy.
And the centurion, beholding that which came to pass, began to glorify God, saying—In very deed, this man, was, righteous.
48 Wotit keewo s'ilosh manoke kakuwedek't teshts ash jamo wotts keewuman bobek'tsok'on bo gero k'is'fere bo galomand k'azboaani.
And, all the multitudes who had been drawn together unto this spectacle, having looked upon the things that came to pass, smiting their breasts, began to return.
49 Iyesusi karnon dants ash jamwotsnat Galil datsatse tuut b́shutsatse sha'efere waats máátswots wokoon need'dek't keewan bo s'iliri.
But all they who were acquainted with him, were standing afar off, women also who had followed with him from Galilee, —beholding these things.
50 Ayhudiwots kitt wotts Armatyasitse befo Yosefi eteef asho fa'e b́tesh, bíwere kaawonat ash sheenga b́tesh, ayhudiwotsitse moosh moshifuwotsitsi ikoni.
And lo! a man, by name Joseph, being, a councillor, —a good and righteous man
51 Wotowa ereo ayhudiwots shiyewonat t malots kindratse b́tesh, bí Ik'i mengsto kotiru asho b́ tesh.
(the same had not consented unto their plan and deed), —from Arimathaea, a city of the Jews, who was awaiting the kingdom of God,
52 Ashman P'ilat'osok t'int Iyesus duuno bísh b́ imish bíaat.
the same, going unto Pilate, claimed the body of Jesus.
53 Dunonowere orshdek't hariya eteef c'ic'i dek't wozets tahon k'odbok'ri, ash k'osho konuwor bíts b́ dukerawu s'alatse k'ewudek't k'aniyets doowots duukb́k'r,
And, taking it down, he wrapped it in a fine Indian cloth, and laid him in a tomb hewn in stone, —where no one as yet was lying.
54 Man b́k'aluwere kokowots kooc' Sanbatosh k'anoke beyefera b́tesh.
And it was a day of preparation, and, a Sabbath, was about to dawn.
55 Geliln tuut Iyesus shuutso waats máátswots Yosefnton amt b́ doowo bo s'iili, duunono awuk'o k'aldek' duuktsok'oi bo s'iil.
And the women, they who had come out of Galilee with him, following after, observed the tomb, and how his body was laid.
56 Bogalomandowere aanat duunosh wotit shak' shawu wotts k'memiyonat shituwo k'ani bok'r, bo nemok'on sanbati aawots kashdek't bojin.
And, returning, they made ready spices and perfumes. And, on the Sabbath, indeed, they were quiet, according to the commandment;
