1 Ash eeno nihok'o woshde izuwe bako fayk'aye, jawetsono eshuwotskok'owa,
An elderly man, do not thou reprimand, but beseech him, as [though he were thy] father, —younger men, as brothers,
2 Gaawer máátsuwotsno indok'o woshde s'iile, baruwotsno mish mishuwotsk'o woshde s'aynon boon s'iile.
Elderly women, as mothers, younger women, as sisters, in all chastity.
3 Arikon bo keniho bo atse k'irts máátswotsi mangiwe
Widows, honour thou—who indeed are widows: —
4 B keniho bí'atse k'irts mááatsu nana'otsi wee b na'i na'o b detsal nana'a manots shino bo maa ashuwotssh k'alo b́ geyituwo k'alune, bo indonat nihon bo indowonat aboowonsh gusho aaniwosh kash weeron fin boon gyituwo danne, manuwere Ik' gene'ushit keewe.
Howbeit, if, any widow, hath, children or grandchildren, let them be learning—first, unto their own house, to be shewing reverence, and, returns, to be making unto their progenitors; for, this, is acceptable before God;
5 Bi aal beyiru t'owu mááts wottsu, b tewuno Ik'ats woshde t'uwe aawo Ik'o bin b́ tep'etuwok'o Ik' k'onon kup'arr betuwaniye.
But, she who is indeed a widow, and is left alone, hath turned her hope towards God, and is giving attendance unto the supplications and the prayers, night and day, —
6 Datsanatsi gene'ú mec'ro shunts t'oow máátsunmó bihe need'on k'irkiye.
Whereas, she that runneth riot, while living, is, dead:
7 Bo atse gondo daatseraniyere bo beetuewk'o dananotsi boosh daniwe.
And, these things, be giving in charge, that, without reproach, they may be;
8 B́ took jaguwotssh, bítsnor bomeyitsi ashuwotsi gawrawo bí b́ imnetiyo k'azkee, dab́ amaneraw ashuwotsiyeror iki gondefe.
If, however, anyone, for his own, and specially them of his household, taketh not forethought, his faith, hath he denied, and is worse, than one without faith!
9 Keez ub natoniyere dash wotts bkenih k'irts máátsu t'oowo máátsuwots shúúts guut'eyru mezgebiyats guut'k'aye, dabnwor ik kenihosh amts máátsu woto bin geytuwe.
Let, a widow, be put on the list—having become, not less than sixty years old, one man’s, wife,
10 Dabrnu nana'uwotsi shengshde ditson, ib dek'on, s'aynwots tufo mashon, kic'tswotsi tepon sheeng fin jamo k'alosh sheeng fin jamo finosh kup'tsu woto bish geytuwe.
In noble works, being well-attested; —if she hath nourished children, if she hath shewn hospitality, if, saints feet, she hath washed, if, them who were in tribulation, she hath succoured, if, in every good, work she hath followed on:
11 Bo kenih k'irts máatswotsitse enasherafa'úwots bo mets tewuno boon da'a b́de'e, Krstossh bo detsts shuno b́shapre mááts amo bo geyituwotse boon t'owu máátsuwotsi mazgabets mazabiyats guut'k'aye.
But, younger widows, decline thou; for, as soon as they wax wanton against the Christ, to marry, are they determined, —
12 Máátsanots shin Krstossh bokindts taareo bogaktsotsnowere botokats angshe bodowiri.
Having, as sentence, —that, their first faith, they have set at nought;
13 Ando aani final beyo bodaneti, finl be mec'ro b́ woteftsere ash maa moots gúrar asho bo oniti, ash keewots bo kiniditi, keewosh boon geyira keewo bokeewiti.
At the same time, to be idlers, are they learning, going about from house to house; and, not only idlers, but, gossips, also, and, busybodies, —saying the things they ought not,
14 Hanshowere enasheraw t'owu máátswots máátso amr na'o bo shuwitwok'o, bo moono shengshde bo k'ezituwok'o, izituwe, hank'on t'elato boshútso t'afiyosh weerindo datsatse.
I am minded, therefore, that, the younger ones, marry, bear children, be mistress of the house, —giving, no single occasion, unto the opposer, as a cause, of reviling;
15 Haniyere shinoru bo kenihi k'irts t'owu mááts ik ikuwots imneti weratse tuut Shed'ani shuutso sha'erne.
For, already, some have turned aside after Satan:
16 Amants mááts iku meyitsere bo kenihi k'irts máátsuwots fa'ane wotiyal Ik' meyitsi ashuwotssh kur bowoterawok'o bíwere boon teúwiye, hank'onowere Ik' moow eegoru boon tep'etu deshaw bokenihi k'irts t'owu máátsuwotsi tep'o falfane.
If any, believing woman, hath widows, let her be giving them succour, and not suffer the assembly to be burdened, —that, them who are indeed widows, it may itself succour.
17 Ik' mootsi fino sheengshdek't jishiruwotsi, dabnu nabonat daniyonmawiru een ashuwotssh git kish wotts mango boosh geyife,
Let, the well presiding elders, of double honour, be accounted worthy, especially they who toil in discourse and teaching;
18 S'ayn mas'aafotse «Mááyo sirbiru minzi beero b́ no no tipk'aye, » mank'o «fintsosh damozo daats bísh geyiyfe» etre.
For the scripture saith—A threshing ox, shalt thou not muzzle, and—Worthy, is the workman, of his hire.
19 Wee gito wee keez asho b́ gawiyala bako Ik' meyitsi ashuwotsi jishiru eenashats t'intseyiru s'aamiyo dek'k'aye.
Against an elder, entertain not, an accusation, except at, [the mouth of] two, or three, witnesses;
20 K'osh k'osh ashuwots boshatetwok'o morro finiru ashuwotsi ash jamwots shinatse giishowe.
But, them who are sinning, before all, do thou reprove, that, the rest also, may have, fear: —
21 N finiru keew jamon iko ikoniyere n bogshrawo t iztsank'on jamo ik aawon ns'iletwok'o Ik'onat Iyesus Krstosn marat'ets melakiwots shinatse adaran neesh imre
I adjure thee, before God, and Christ Jesus, and the chosen messengers, that, these things, thou observe, apart from prejudgment, doing, nothing, by partiality.
22 N kisho ashuwotsats gerde boosh k'onr naashiwosh kark'aye, k'osh ashuwots morro nkayerawok'o n tooko s'aynon kord'e.
Hands, suddenly, upon no one, lay, neither have fellowship with sins of strangers: thyself, keep, chaste: —
23 N maac' weeshonat jam aawo n shodiruwi jangosh múk'shde weyiniyon dutsets biro úyee bako haniye okoon aats mec'ro ushk'aye.
No longer, be a water-drinker, but, of a little wine, make use, because of thy stomach and thy, frequent, sicknesses.
24 Ik ik ashuwots mrro be'ek b́ woto shin angshoniye b́kitsiri, k'osh ashuwots morro b́ be'et ja'arniye.
Some men’s sins, are, openly evident, leading on into judgment, with some, however, they even follow after;
25 Sheeng fino jamoshe b́ be'eti, aashat beyirwonwor be'eraniyere ooreratse.
In the same way, the noble works also, are openly evident, —and, they that are otherwise, cannot be hid.
