< 1 P'et'ros 5 >
1 Eshe taa bonton tohaat Ik' meyitsi eenash wottso, Krstos gond bek'osh gaw wottso, ando shino maantsish be'et mango kayitk wottso, it dagotse beyiru Ik' máá eenashwotsi izitwe.
The seniors who are among you, I exhort, who am also a senior, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory which is to be revealed.
2 Adaro itsh imets Ik' gizi s'eeno jinere, gizi s'eenmanowere it jinet angnon b́ woterawo Ik'o b́ getsok'on, shunon wotowe, ambarosh k'awnton b́ woterawo finosh it detsts shunon wotowe.
Feed the flock of God, which is with you; exercising the overseer's office, not by constraint, but willingly; neither for the sake of sordid gain, but from good disposition;
3 Mank'o it naashi shirotse beyirwotsi fiic'de'er kéwon b́ woterawo Ik' giz s'enwotssh sheeng ariyo kitson wotowe.
neither as lording it over the heritage of God, but, being patterns to the flock:
4 Hank'o it k'aliyal jints eeno b́ be'ewor awaasheraw mangi akliliyo dek'etute.
and when the Chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall receive the crown of glory which fades not away.
5 Ando! it jawetswotso! eenashúwotssh alewere, it jamets maac' nefo tahok'o tahade'er iko ikosh finowe, «Ik'o bog taana etirwotsi k'efitwe botoko dashan detsetwotsshomó s'aato imetwe» ett guut'ere.
For the like reason, you younger persons subject yourselves to the seniors. Yes, all be subject to one another, and be clothed with humility, for God resists the proud but gives favor to the humble.
6 Eshe Ik'o b́ etts aawon itn dambaan b́ tuzish Ik' kishi kúp'o shirots it tooko dashan deshere.
Be humbled, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
7 Bí itsh b́ shiyanirwotse iti kic'iru shiyan jamo bíyats juuk'rore.
Cast all your anxious care on him, because he cares for you.
8 It detstson beewere, k'ande'ere! it balangaro diyablos b́ k'ot'etwo geefetst guundiru ééshok'o it gúúratse b́ ananiri.
Be sober, be vigilant: your adversary, the devil, is walking about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Dats jamatse fa'a it eshúwots han naari gond bek'o bo dek'irwok'o dande'er it amantsats kúp'ar imnetyon bín k'efoore.

And may the God of all favor, who has called us to his eternal glory, by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little, himself make you complete; support, strengthen, establish you: (aiōnios )
11 Dúre dúrosh b́ borfetso ango bísh wotowe! amen. (aiōn )
to him be the glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )

By Sylvanus, a faithful brother, (as I conclude, ) I have written to you in in few words, exhorting you, and strongly testifying that this is the true favor of God, in which you stand.
13 Itkok'o marat'dek'etsu Babilonitse fa'a Ik'i moow jamo itsh t'intsirwane, t naa'yi Mrk'oswere jamo itsh t'intsirwe.
