< 1 P'et'ros 4 >
1 Krstos b́meetson gond bek'o b́ datstsosh itwere kes'i taho taahadek'ts ashok'o hasabiyanats k'up'ar k'ande'ere, b́meetson gond bek'o dek'ts asho morro fino need'ik'rere.
Since, then, Christ suffered in the flesh, do you also ever arm yourselves with the same mind (because he who has suffered in the flesh has done with sin),
2 Haniyakon eshe oorts datsatsi it beyon meetsi gond tewno s'eentson b́ woterawo Ik'i shuntsok'on beewere.
so that in future you may not spend your life in the flesh according to men’s desires, but in the will of God.
For the time past of life may suffice us to have worked the will of the Gentiles, when we spent our life in lasciviousness, lusts, hard drinking, revelry, banqueting, and abominable idol worship.
4 Andomó keewann weralo bonton ik woton beshiyo it k'aztsosh bo adiri, bo c'ashiri.
They are astonished at this, that you do not run into the same excesses of profligacy as they do; and they speak evil of you.
5 Ernmó kashon fa'úwotsnat k'irtswotsats angshosh k'andek'tso shinatse aatetúne.
But they must render account to Him who stands ready to judge the living and the dead.
6 Eshé hank'on boowere ash jamikok'o bomeetson bok'iritwok'o boats angshere, ernmó boshayron Ik'ok'o beyar beetwotsi wotar bobetwok'o doo shishiyo k'irtswotssh nabere.
The gospel was preached for this cause to those who were dead also, that they might be judged according to men in flesh, but live according to God in spirit.
7 Eshe jam keewi s'uwo bodre, kup'arr Ik' k'ono it falitwok'o mangdek'ts nibo deshere, it angok'owere beewere,
But the end of all things is close at hand; so be sober, watch and pray.
8 Shuno morri ayo b́ aatsitwotse jamoniyere bogo it ats atseyo kúp'shde'er shunewere.
Above everything have fervent love to one another; for love veils a multitude of sins.
9 Múmúderaniyere it ats atseyon ibo ibiwere.
Be hospitable to one another, without grudging.
10 K'osh k'osh naari Ik'i s'aatwotsi sheengsh k'eezfetsr ititse ik iko bísh imets s'aaton k'oshosh finowe.
Whatever the gifts which each has received, use them for one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
11 Danirwo Ik' aap'o b́ danirwok'on daniwe, finirwonu Ik'o bísh b́ imet angon finowe, hank'on Ik'o Iyesus Krstos weeron jam keewon mangitwe, mangonat angon dúre dúrosh bísh wotowe, amen. (aiōn )
If any one preaches, let him always preach as one who utters God’s truth; if any one serves another, let it be with the strength which God supplies; so that in every way God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory and dominion for ever and ever, Amen. (aiōn )
12 T mashotso! tawok'o fadit gond bek'otse it daatsewo daneraw ib wotts keewo itats b́ bodtsok'o woshde'er adk'ayere,
Do not think it strange, beloved, that a fiery ordeal has come to test you, as though some surprising thing had befallen you.
13 Maniyere dab Krstos mangon b́ be'ewor ayde'er it geneútiwok'o b́ gond bek'otse kaydek'tswotsi it wottsok'o gene'owere.
But be glad in the degree in which you share in the sufferings of Christ; so that when his glory shall be revealed, you too may be glad with triumphant gladness.
14 Krstos shúútsi jangosh it c'asheyal mang wotts Shayiro etonwere Ik' Shayiro itats b́ oot'etwotse derek itne.
If you are being reproached for the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the spirit of glory and of God is resting upon you.
15 Ititsere konworu gondo b́ bek'or kash úd'tsok'o, úmp'etsok'o, gond fintsok'o, ash keewots s'eegerawo kindirwok'o wotk'aye.
But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evil-doer, or as a spy upon other people’s business.
16 Krstiyani b́ wottsatse tuutson gondbek'o bíyats bodetwonmó krstiyaniyat b́ s'egetsosh Ik'o mangiwa bako jitsk'aye.
But if any man is suffering as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him ever glorify God in this Name.
17 Man eegoshe? Angsho b́ tuwit aawo bodre, angshonú b́tuwit Ik' ashuwotsatsne, eshe angsho b́ tuwit noyitsna wotiyal Ik' doo shishiyosh aleraw ashuwots bo s'uwo aawk'owe b́ wotitik'úna?
It is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it first begin with us, what shall be the end of those who are disobedient to the gospel?
18 S'ayin mas'aafotse b́ etirwok'o, «Kááwonúwor dab kasho b́ falit k'ic'ona wotiyal Ik' Ik'irawotsnat morrets ashuwots aawk'owe bowotiti?»
If the righteous man is scarcely saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
19 Mansh Ik' shunok'on gond bek'iru ashuwots bokeew jamo azts amanetsosh adaro imr sheeng keewo k'alosh shuutsan etk'ayne.
So let those who are suffering according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well-doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
